Great calendar.
This Calendar is Great. The glossy View is amazing. It is so simple and at the same time so complete. The only thing missing is integration with Reminders on the Ipad and Mac Versions

Used to be a Great app
Really love this app. The color coding events, enabling to add the emoticons, seeing same info on my iPhone and my iPad, repeat functionality, the different views and the notification choices are great. I just wish you could sort by appointment type. Update: all the different overlapping calendars are confusing. Each holiday has 2 entries, unable to streamline or delete duplicates. Also, when I program my schedule into app, if I touch a date wrong or for too long it changes my schedule which is unhelpful. Update: You lost another star. I HATE that I can’t change my day view. I don’t want a split screen to see other events. I just want to see that day but iPad version doesn’t give that option any more. Also not happy you haven’t worked with iCloud and figured out a way to keep color coded event preferences synced between devices. It’s time to start looking for a new app, which is a shame. None of my previous issues have even been addressed and they just keep making it worse not better.
Have used this app for years - love it
I found this app after searching for a calendar that I could easily customize for work. I have used it for several years now and continue to enjoy its versatility and customization capabilities. I recently reached out to support for an issue and it was readily fixed with a short time. Excellent app and highly recommended!
What a rip off. Paid for pro subscription. No new functions
Paid for an upgrade based on in app offer for WeekCal Pro. Absolutely no change, no new features NOTHING is different. Have used for years but looking for a replacement now.
Best Calendar App
This one does it all. Cannot find a better one. The old version was better, but it’s still a good calendar app.
Why can’t I edit on iPad?
This was a good app until recently. Can no longer edit events on iPad.
Constantly asks me to subscribe - unacceptable!
I bought this app many years ago as a one off purchase and by and large it works very well. However, I am very frustrated at having to dismiss the prompt messages every time I turn it on. The prompt for me to take up an annual subscription is unacceptable. Why should I? I’ve paid for the app in full already!
Easy to read monthly calendar.
I use WeekCal for iPad with only the monthly view. It is easier to read than the native calendar app. And I can increase the font size for my over 50 eyes. This replaces my paper monthly calendar for an overall view of the month. I would like the icon to show the day of week and date like the native app.
Scam!
I was offered a free week but was charged immediately and was refused a refund! When I next opened it on the same iPad I was told I needed to log-in again AND WAS CHARGED A SECOND TIME. Calling iTunes has been no help! Careful over their “promise” of a free week! Maybe I can get at least some of my money back.
New problem
I’ve had this program for years. Very satisfied. I think this problem start a few weeks ago. I can’t edit an event on my iPad. The icon (i in a circle) is missing and I can’t find any instruction or way other way to edit. Please advise Thank you
Annoying change
Ive been using this app on ipad and iphone for over 10 years and in general i love it and rely on it but recently every time i open it on ipad it asks me to become a pro user before i can access the app. This is completely unnecessary and interfering with my enjoyment of the app.
Not able to find tools menu.
It shows on the App Store in images a tools menu to move events but it’s not showing up for me. I don’t see a tool menu at all.
Good App
I’ve been using this app for about 10 years. Through many updates the company works to keep it at the front of the app pack. My needs are different now than 10 years ago but I still need to keep up with my appointments.
Very, very disappointing app support, non-existent from what I see
I have submitted several issues to the developers with NO response at all! I try to use the support feature in app and it doesn’t work, won’t allow me to send the message and won’t allow submitting images as the message disappears when trying to attach. Also, when swiping right to left to view the next month, instead of getting October 2024, I get December 2000. Wish I wouldn’t have wasted my money on this app. Another issue just reared its ugly head; I missed an appointment because my iPad Pro WeekCal app did not update with an appointment created on my iPhone! Still NO feedback from support….

Can’t take the incessant subscription nagging anymore
I purchased this app years ago. PURCHASED. Then the developer decided to switch to a “freemium” model where the app is free but they nag you repeatedly to subscribe to the “pro” version. Purchasers of the app should have been permanently grandfathered into a nag-free experience… no, I don’t expect the “pro” features for free, just to not hit me with this obtrusive ad over and over again. I’m done with this app.

Easy to use
This calendar program is easy to figure out how to use, which really enhances it's usefulness. I really like the ability to isolate and PRINT a history of appointments and their notes. Also, moving around through months and even years is done with one step.
SPOOF of another App
This is a Scam they just spoofed “Week Calendar Smart Planner”. I was wondering for so long why I couldn’t get my calendar from my IPhone to sync and it was because these weren’t the same apps. Check the developer. The other is by Do More Mobile. Llc

Two subscriptions? Really?
Can’t believe you have to pay twice to be able to use the apps fully on both iPad and iPhone. Even without the subscriptions the autocolors don’t sync across both. Other developers manage to come up with apps that sync successfully and equally across both so why not this one? I would happily pay a little more for just one subscription that works across both. It can’t be that hard to do so think it’s more about getting people to pay twice. Shame as I like the app overall.

Used to be good
No longer permits me to edit events once added. Yes, same device (iPad). Yes, within minutes of adding. No, I've changed no settings. Invites you to rate app but first asks "are you enjoying...?" If you say "no" you can get FAQs but not the rating screen. So multiply number of poor ratings by thousands as they actively discourage such feedback.

I like it but it could have more options
Frustrating
Every time there is an update, my custom colors and icons get wiped out. Please fix this problem. Additionally, should have the option of being able to choose which holidays/events appear on my calendar. Right now, have to accept all holidays/events because they are “Read Only.” Which means there is no way to delete these holidays/events that are of no interest to me. This needs to be fixed.
Simply a great App
This is a must have app... the features allow so much latitude and flexibility. These features are what should be included in any calendar!!!

App updated to most recent version and now i cannot edit any of the appointments In my calendar..WHY? I even tried creating a new appointment and…nope..no edit option in the top right corner…where the feature has always been.
Been using Week Cal since iOS 3.0
Love the event template feature! Makes it so easy to add overtime shift, documenting medical events like occasional nosebleeds. iPad version needs dark mode.
Stop Facebook syncing
Facebook automatically adds birthdays to the calendar and it seems to be impossible to get rid of
Notifications
Once adding a schedule I alway make sure the notification says none, but after I finish making the schedule a notification bell icon appears, and always for two notifications. I then have to turn these off.

Easy to use, allows you to use color to highlight or categorize events.
Please Fix Your App!!
Calendar app is completely unusable and my events and data is being held hostage. As of today, I can no longer swipe from month to month. A pop up occurs demanding that I upgrade to Pro or restore. My $7.99 yearly subscription does not expire until October 2024. Why would I pay to “subscribe” again with 6 months left of my current subscription? PLEASE FIX YOUR APP THAT I HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR!!

Can not resync settings since update of iOS 13
I was really happy with WeekCal, had been using it for many years but recently though after updating on the new iOS 13, found a problem. After making a backup of all my settings, I deleted the app to try resetting an problem I found. This actually caused a bigger problem as all my settings could not be resynced- the option to do this from emails was no longer present 😩. This meant I had to recreate all my automations (templates, auto colours, auto icons) settings through what I could remember, which was a very painstaking task! I also did contact WeekCal giving them a detailed account and screenshots of my dilemma but after 3 weeks no solution to why my synchronised setting were not able to be resynced from an email. I’m still waiting for a response to resolve this...

Took just a short amount of time to fix a bug. Still the best calendar app. Template is my favorite feature.

Problematic updates
Been using cal for a few years. App is great but has become very buggy over the past couple months. When deleting appointments on calendar , the delete button does not work from the view appointment. You have to go into edit and then delete. App is hanging and slower for some reason, and that’s using on an iPad Pro. Bit disappointed for such a good calendar app.
Subscription issues
Great app , but I had too many problems with the pro subscription not being active in the app properly. This meant reduced functionality The response rate from the support was pretty slow and as yet they have still not resolved the issue . Though it has been confirmed as an issue by WeekCal Subscription then jumped to more than £14 automatically when it was 50% of that
Great but with nags (and i’ve paid)
I bought the “pro” version a while before this became a free app. Now there is a charge to buy reminders (which I don’t need) but im nagged to support and buy this annual subscription. Please spare a thought for us that have already paid for the app. Im all for supporting developers but treating those who got the app for free the same as those of us who have already paid is a bit unfair, otherwise 5 stars
Help!!!
I love this app but suddenly the buttons in an appointment no longer work: Share, Print, More, etc. I can’t find anywhere to send a message to fix this.
Horrible, terrible, obnoxious, intrusive marketing.
I received a marketing message at 9:26 PM on Christmas night. If they think I want any marketing messages ever, they’re out of their minds. So unless you like messages pushed to your iPad, even when your notifications are turned off, download this app. Otherwise, do what I’m doing, and delete everything that has anything to do with it.
New bugs
Since the update last week a few bugs have appeared for iPad. Deleting some items causes the app to crash completely, as does attempting to edit a repeated item. Everything continues to work fine on iPhone.

Lovely calendar
I have used WeekCal on both my iPad and iPhone for years now and love the flexibility of it, but really wish the iPad version was updated to match the iPhone one. I use it in mini month view and colour code all my family’s appointments so I can see at a glance who is doing what and when.
