What people like
- Truly hides your browsing history
- Full screen blocks phone status bar
- Face ID protects your bookmarks
What they complain about
- App crashes and lags constantly
- No tabs or proper navigation
- Ads pop up in paid version
- File size grows huge over time
Happy browsing
I’m extremely happy with savvy soda even though it’s impossible to get away from Google. I use savvy soda exclusively. It doesn’t allow cookies and it makes me disappear once I’ve left a site.
No search bar
My search bar disappeared
Needs update
Websites are stopping your browser from working correctly . Great app if it stays updated
address bar missing
The latest version has omitted the address bar from the top. You no longer know where you truly are, and cannot jump to other pages in the same site using that bar. Also has trouble with the “back” button locking up.
Don’t try to change search engines or it will crash.
The non-pro version works fine. It’s really great, in fact. I thought I’d get the “pro” version to support the developer, but this setting the search engine crash is a pretty huge bug. If they fixed it, I’d highly highly recommend, I’d even edit this review. As is, I’d give it a pass.
GREAT APP
Well done
Face ID is broken on iOS 16.4-5
App needs an update for Face ID otherwise anyone can tap right into it.
Address bar dissappeared in last update
I was able to click write links yesterday. App updated and I can only access bookmarks
Great in some ways, not as much so in others.
I love the full-screen browsing. You can hide the URL bar, and even the iPadOS menu/title bar with the time, date, etc. is hidden, so it means the entire screen is just the webpage, and that’s great. It also seems speedy and stable. Lack of tabs is not the most convenient, though, ad blocking does not work at all, and not being able to print or download are big downsides (for me).
Is there a DARK MODE?
Use the free version, liked it. Upgraded to white. Having a full white screen not ideal specially when using at night time. Would love to be able to modify or invert screen settings for ease on eyes. Really don't like white screen. Hence three stars.

Why am I getting prompted to save my google username/password if it’s such a secure browser?
Pulling it off my devices.
Great app, but WHAT the heck is it caching?!?
I really like this app. I’ve used it for years for general internet searching & browsing. Well designed, works as expected, except for one EXASPERATING quirk… Although the browser appears to “clear” everything instantly when minimized or closed, the MB size of the app (as shown in iPad Storage) just keeps increasing in size. It’s as if there is a cache of some kind that is not actually being cleared on closing. I have seen the app size get up into the GB range in the past. I have been dealing with the problem by regularly offloading and then reinstalling the app, which seems to trim the size back to 6-8 MB, and completely uninstalling & reinstalling the app when the size gets really out of hand. So, what the heck is being “saved”, and is there some way to keep the app size down? Thanks!!
Can’t change default search engine
Crashes every time when changing search engine
Nice but
I want to use DuckDuckGo bc I do not feel my device is anonymized from google. Also there are no settings as to save a session as opposed to bookmarks, so weak on saving things but would like an easy easy to wipe via overwrite for security porpoises
This. browser is one of the best ones out there. I love it. I love what it has to offer.
I know that when you see things in life that you see you enjoy it as a grow man I love to look at different things that I see this is why I have the browser to keep me updated with everything. I enjoy in life.
Private Browsing White
Rubbish it’s paired with Google
Good but not Great
I love it for quick searches but I lacks newer iOS support for the actual browser and app icon
Search engine???
When I changed the search engine from default/Google, ads pop up on the home screen. Since this was a paid for app, that’s not supposed to happen. Also, browser wants to change search to an obscure site instead of the search engine selected. Not what i wanted from a paid for browser. One plus is that, on the surface, it can be set to clear website data when you’re done.

Great app the best
Great app the best that works perfectly. Thank you very much.
worthless
no visible navigate aids. you just access a sitte and then leave. bo way to get around in a website. yeah it's minimalist alright. glad it's been improved. must have really crappy before. duckduckgo is light years ahead of this garbage. wasted $4 on the pro version which is same as basic. waste of time and money. run the other way.
Browser
It’s stealthy
No extra tabs?!
For 2.99 there should be an option to open extra tabs
Updates killed it
Last update stuffed up the default search page from google to google via a different search tool, so the end results coming back are returned different to normal. Go back 1 update and its an awesome tool

unable to stop the pop ups
Most features work but unable to stop the pop-ups. You have to close the apps and start over because the pop-ups blocks the screen.
Great but needs a couple things
Love how private this browser is. Need Face ID or finger print to look at bookmarks. Code doesn’t work which keeps wife and kids away. But cloud storage of bookmarks and sharing across devices not supported. Also no way to start a new tab. Or clear out old. Also no home button and no way to clear data except to leave the app and start back up. Please fix these things and it will get a 5 star review. Could be a tad faster like some of the other options. Thank you.
Crasht na laatste update 👿
Werkte jaren perfect. Na de laatste update crasht hij vaak en moet ik telkens op allow drukken om naar de gekozen pagina te surfen. Ik baal hiervan!!!
Bug pls fix
When using google my search results appear upon typing first letter of my recent searches
Great so far
Had gray and it was cool once I realized the ad on homepage. Went to white for one time purchase 4.99 which was very cool. Thank you
Internal error
Cannot use as I receive the 500 Internal Error message. Any suggestions to correct this?
Mr
I'm new buts looks very good so far keep up the good work 👍
Niet bijzonder
Weinig opzienbarende browser. Opera Coast is ook gratis, biedt echte fullscreen mogelijkheid (zonder titelbalk) en veel extra mogelijkheden.
Just another seemingly fancy dud App!
This App does some of what it claims to do. But it is clumsy and devoid of configuring any options whatsoever. Some web pages exceed the maximum size available on the display and there is nothing one can do to reset the display to make them fit. This of course means that options such as log in or sign out cannot be seen. This can be partly fooled by physically rotating the device from landscape to portrait, but then frequently, the page is too small to be able to read anything. Another wasted cost! Cut your losses and don't be fooled by this hollow App. There are much better browsers.
Love it
This browser is great
Memory Leak
Every few days or so of using the app, it will suddenly crash to home screen, and make my phone completely laggy until I restart it. I have to delete and completely reinstall in order to get it not to lag and crash anymore, but that only lasts a few sessions. And I loose all my bookmarks. The app also gets very large in size sometimes. Not sure if that is related, but it could be a memory leak or something.
review
Good stuff. thanks
👍👎
👍: den var väll snabb 👎: om man är inne på en sida och sen låser telefonen eller går ut från appen så finns den inte kvar när man går in på appen/låser upp telefonen!
NOT fullscreen
Nice app. But unfortunately the page title overlays the top of the screen. So it's not true fullscreen. Annoying.
Needs Tabs
Clear missing feature
Dreadful Browser - no point in paid version
This is epic garbage. A triumph of marketing over substance. I feel totally ripped off and want my money back. The free version works better than the paid version!!! Refund please... NOTHING works right on this. And as for privacy? Don’t delude yourself...
Fast browser
Tabs would have made it perfect
Bitte nachbessern. Danke.
Works great
Deletes all prior searches unless it scans your face and you select to reopen prior activity. Great for people that have to share their phone with other humans
Fix this app, I paid for this
Slow as hell, doesn't work most of the time. Fix it now or refund my money!
...
No tabs? Why dose this normally cost money?
Langzaam
Doet wel wat ie zegt, maar is erg langzaam en loopt snel vast, ik heb m meteen weer verwijderd.
Good program with small issues
The buy PRO version nag screen appears in registrated version. You cant set your startpage. If this is fixed the app Will get 5 stars.
