Ich habe festgestellt, dass es manchmal so Probleme, wenn die App zum Beispiel sagt Ich, soll sie aktualisieren, dann tue ich das. Und dann Funktioniert es immer noch nicht. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass das verbessert wird.

Ja, es ist schade, dass immer Teile fehlen, man muss sich den Rest denken. Wäre schön, wenn das verbessert würde. Außerdem sind neue echte Kapitel mitten in Kapiteln/Abschnitten im Hörbuch

Grundsätzlich eine tolle App, stürzt allerdings oft ab, zeigt auf das Gerät geladene Dateien nicht und/oder lädt gar nicht erst um den Offline-Modus zu nutzen (IOS Nutzer). Wirklich schade...
Tried turning it off and on again?
I use this app 90% to listen to audiobooks. Sometimes the app will freeze as soon as you try to get go the player. „failed to open stream“ with several titles, downloaded or not, can’t really follow the instructions from the website. Restarting the app, logging outredownloading the app and restarting my phone several times worked (maybe it was just time). Hope my library will move to Onleihe 3.0 soon.

Can‘t get it to work
Downloaded this app to read newspapers, but I cannot get it to work. All it does is load a blank page with a search bar that doesn’t find anything, whatever menu I click.

Es wäre schön wenn die App optimiert würde,wenn ich versuche ein geliehenes Buch zu laden funktioniert es nicht und zusätzlich blockiert es dann auch noch die ganze Ausleihe,d.h. Ich kann es dann gar nicht mehr hören,das ist sehr ärgerlich.
So viel potential…
Funktioniert grundsätzlich, aber man könnte diese App so einfach so viel besser machen. An ganz vielen Stellen ist die Benutzbarkeit einfach schlecht. Beispiele: Vergisst immer mal wieder auf welcher Seite im Buch man ist, ein zurückgegebenes Buch wieder ausleihen ist nur mit diversen klicks möglich und danach weiss die App nicht mehr auf welcher Seite man war, unter „Stöbern“ und „Empfehlungen“ werden standardmässig Bücher angezeigt die nicht verfügbar sind, usw usw. Ich hoffe dass die App stetig weiter entwickelt wird, sehe aber kaum Fortschritt
Schöne App
Die App ist sehr praktisch daher verfügbare Titel immer angezeigt werden es giert viele schöne Bücher und Hörspiele auf dieser App. Onleihe ist definitiv empfehlenswert 👍
Nicht zuverlässig
Leider bricht diese App immer wieder mal ab. Ich höre Bücher auf meinem Telefon damit. Mindestens einmal die Woche werde ich mittendrin rausgeschmissen. Grundlos auch bei gutem WiFi. Dann komme ich manchmal erst am nächsten Tag wieder rein. Ausserdem verliere ich häufig das Chapter und es fängt dann ganz von vorne an. All diese Probleme habe ich mit Audible nie. Probiere dann alles mögliche auch neu installieren, trotzdem klappt es manchmal nicht. Schade, wenn es funktioniert ist es eine gute Möglichkeit für Hörbücher. Allerdings nur dann.
Gute Idee, Umsetzung ausbaufähig
Erst mal freue ich mich, dass es die App überhaupt für mein altes ipad gibt. Ich finde die Darstellung aber unübersichtlich, v.a. weil ich sie nicht personalisieren kann. Total unsinnig ist, dass man nichts kopieren kann. Damit funktioniert auch keine Übersetzung. Dass ich jedes Mal wieder den gleichen Begrüssungsdialog sehe, mit der gleichen, für mich völlig unbrauchbaren Kategorisierung, stört mich auch. Wenn ich ein Magazin auswählen will erfahre ich nur etwas über das Magazin generell, aber nichts über die aktuelle Ausgabe, was überhaupt keinen Sinn ergibt. Internationales suche ich hier vergeblich, dafür gibt es den pressreader (nicht für mein ios).
Funktioniert - Filterfunktion mühsam
Die App und die Ausleihe funktionieren grundsätzlich gut. Mühsam ist allerdings die Suche nach Büchern aus einem bestimmten Genre, da das Setzen der Filter doch sehr umständlich ist.

Never works
This App it’s a completely disaster at least in my IPad. It never works, I couldn’t even log in. I only can read in my computer without any app.
Latest update makes book jump each time to beginning
There are several week points, many have been mentioned before, but now each time I either close the app, or even only minimise it, the book opens back at the beginning. I have tried this now with several books. The other thing I dislike, is that there is no record of which books I have borrowed in the past.
eigentlich gut, aber…
die app ist einfach zu bedienen und funktioniert im grossen und ganzen gut. was sehr sehr nervt, ist das die bugs in der suchfunktion bei den hörbüchern seit mehreren jahren (!!!) nicht gefixt werden. hab mir deshalb schon einen wechsel überlegt, auch wenn das mit mehrkosten verbunden ist.
Ich vermisse dich!
Ich vermisse diese alte App, sie war nicht perfekt, aber sie hat funktioniert. Es gab einige kleine Problemchen mit denen ich gut leben konnte. Die neue Onleihe 3.0 ist ein wahrer Horror, kann ich bitte diese App zurückhaben.
time-stealing, hopeless
I have spent too much time trying to make this app work in order to read books from the Goethe Institute‘s library. I certainly hope that Goethe is not paying any money for this app! Goethe offers a wonderful library that got me excited to read more German-language books. But the Onleih app oonly allows me to read a few chapters of each book before it will no longer load a page. The pages remain gray and never quite load. The option of using the website also does not work for more than a half-day. And it looks impossible to actually reach a human who might help. (The audiobooks by contrast have worked fine for me. So they are maybe the one reason to keep the app.)
Reader not working
I can't change the settings in the reader any longer (on iOS), such as text size, background color, or spacing. This makes reading any book rather uncomfortable (since I am stuck with a very small text size and a very bright, blinding background) and is unfortunate as there is no other format / reader I can use with books I checked out. Will there be a fix for this anytime soon?
hörbücher laden - eine herausforderung
ich habe 2 hörbücher auf mein iphone heruntergeladen im sie offline zu hören. leider sind sie aus dem reiter „auf dem gerät“ wieder verschwunden und lassen sich nur online (also mit netz) starten. das ist glaub ich nicht im sinne des erfinders

Not great
I think the app got better over the years but it’s annoying that you can’t return audiobooks early. I’m often stuck with an audiobook I don’t like. I should be able to return it so someone else can read it
Issues since last update
App worked ok. But since the last update certain settings are not working anymore: can’t change background color (black background and white font, which is always nice when reading in the dark), or adjusting the size of the font. Would be great if they could change that again.

Ich liebe diese App - Bücher lesen funktioniert bei mir einwandfrei - schön wäre wenn die lesezeichen oder notizen irgendwie gespeichert oder exportiert weden können - beim erneuten ausleihen sind diese leider verschwunden - und ein darkmode wäre auch wunderbar ☀️❤️👍
German ‘Digitalisierung’ in a nutshell
I’m throwing the towel in on this app. It has always been excruciatingly slow with file downloads, but now it just mocks you with the faint, stalled out green circle. Maybe the developer stroked out. I’d rather pass a kidney stone than waste any more time with this nonsense.
You need to login every time you use the app.
Really badly done in my opinion. You can listen to audiobooks but they are weirdly cut into 2.35 min junks and also it logs you out of the app automatically, which is super unnecessary and annoying. Could really be improved quite a lot .... maybe you should look to apps like audible as inspiration ...
Schwierigkeiten letztes Update
Auch wenn die Funktionalität schon immer beschränkt war, lief diese App eigentlich solide und war gut zu nutzen. Seit dem letzten Update aber ist sie extrem langsam geworden und neigt dazu abzustürzen.

Downloads get stuck
This app often gets stuck while downloading borrowed books. Sometimes the problem cannot be resolved for days. I have been using this app for years to access German library ebooks. The problem has been discussed in online forums ever since but the developer doesn’t fix it.
Great idea but why does it take forever...
To download magazines from the server? Wanted to read a newspaper (36mb) and already waiting for 10+ minutes for the download to happen. I’m thankful for the media I get from Germany as a German living abroad but waiting forever to read a Magazine is kind of a bummer. Please fix if you can. Thank you!
Worked OK
A bit confusing to work out as you need to have different log ins for the app and for Adobe as well. Was confused about the language, as it suggests you may want to “lend” books, until I realised it meant “borrow”. It’s wrong in a number of places. It downloads things that can’t be read on device, and it’s a pity it doesn’t tell you before you download it. As of August 2019, it still says you have lent a book rather than borrowed it.

Cant login. Cant read anything. This app is completely broken
Lots of room for improvement
Navigation is poor. Chapters are not numbered, so you don’t know where you are, which is particularly unfortunate because frequently, when you open the app, it has jumped back to a chapter near the beginning. It’s difficult to find back to where you were. The 30-second forward/back is disabled. If you miss a bit or didn’t understand, you have to listen to the whole chapter again. The app crashes frequently. I would never spend money on this app, and if it was commercial it couldn’t afford to be this bad.
No switch between libraries anymore
Its great to have books always handy on your mobile devices. I love it. Its a good app to search for books and magazines. Unfortunately with the latest upgrade the easy swap between different libraries was removed :-/ In the past I could have multiple libraries activated and only had to swap with a click between them. Now I have to fully log out, search for the other library from all others and fully login again. A great feature was removed. I would rather have the old version back...
