Love the app
I love the app. I get to see the paper as it is visually and flip through it, but don’t have papers laying around that I have to recycle. Win win.
Unable to access digital subscription
Even after calling the help line I am unable to download today’s e paper. App shows Friday 12-5 has been downloaded and delivered but not 12-6 editions. My subscription is active and is set for auto renewal 12-22-25. Customer service is completely worthless.
Much Better Than The Web on a PC
Much easier to navigate than reading on a PC with a web browser.
Pops up win a free iPhone
Unable to view obituaries pops up you have been selected to get a free iPhone. That's terrible that you can not view the obituary.

Pjstar phone app
Very disappointed in upgrade. You can only view a handful of the obituaries, you can't see everyone's for that day. Pictures are no longer a part of the obituaries. Not always prompt on updating them either.
What a mess!
I signed up for digital access at Christmas time on a special promotion. Something went wrong in the signup process and I have a completed subscription and a partially created subscription. I have tried to reach someone at the PJS, to no avail. All I get are digital assistants, no live person. Every time I go online, I get a subscription pop-up covering the articles. I need to call in again which I have placed right behind a root canal!
PJStar app review
the latest changes to your app are very disappointing. I am paying for the e-edition And I expect no ads to be popping up and changing pages when I’m reading. Also, the app should not automatically jump back-and-forth between pages while I am reading.😞
Unable to print
This digital upgrade no longer allows printing a crossword puzzle…. Something that should be available.. the paper is small and this was one feature I used…. Can this feature be added back
Love seeing the same pages as the print version.
The electronic version that shows the same pages as the print is my favorite news app. Being able to click on an article and see it open in an easier to read is a bonus.

When you zoom in you can’t move the view and they won’t let me use the old app that I liked
Sometimes overseas blues for connections
Works well at home but sometimes struggle to open when overseas. Connecting at those hotels can be difficult for opening the PJS. due to strength of WIFIs. Been with you since mid 1980s Joe Y
It’s AWFUL
Lost my original app & this one is the only replacement I found. IT’S AWFUL! Print too small on opening. Side arrows interfere with articles. Ads appear frequently & must wait to exit & resume reading. Don’t know if this is a newer e-edition app but again—its just awful.
Subscription Status
This app won’t let me read articles even though I have a subscription. When it prompts me to restore subscription it just spins and I can’t get to anything. I keep thinking the app will get fixed however it has been doing this for months.
The paper
This is a great way to get the paper. Never worrying if it’s going to be there in the morning. Will never go back. Need more local sports if possible.
This is horrible
This app is terrible. It does not navigate intuitively. I cannot find the help I need. It is a very disappointing viewing experience.
Works much better now with recent update
Thank you developers for making improvements related to navigating the pages reading the E-edition. Much appreciated.
New version hard to read
The latest app version is hard to read for my old age eyes. In full page view please use the entire display as you used to. Also, why am I now confronted with an ad before the newspaper is displayed? I hate software updates that don’t improve the software!

Since the new version this AP has gotten worse. The obits is incomplete. We depend upon PJS to keep us updated when traveling. Now the obits have not been updated for three days.
HORRIBLE Renewal Process
I made the mistake of using Facebook to sign in … NOW with a later “Meta” (?) system in place the PJStar app won’t let me sign in to my account for the enewspaper. Too many repeated tries, capta boxes & silly security walls for a freaking APP!! I’m out.

Just got there news on Tele. Really helpful and timely. Stuff I have been missing. Want to be up to date get it now, they have cheap deal going on.
Subscription renewal
Not sure how to renew subscription through app. The website keeps crashing when trying to update payment information. I’ve tried using both Microsoft, Safari, & Google browsers.

The daily emails are annoying
App is good, haven’t been booted since the most recent update. However, I have unsubscribed from the daily email at least 15 times as well as changed my preferences in the settings… and I still get them.

We retired to West Virginia so this Enews is a great way to keep up on Peoria+ economical too!
Too many issues
This app has so many glitches and too many to list. It is no longer possible to get through the paper is one read. Pages don’t load, pictures don’t load, and the list goes on and on. Deleting and redownloading the app doesn’t seem to make any impact. Please fix these issues.

Printing An Article- CAN NOT DO!!
I have the Peoria Journal star E edition without the E in the logo. With this particular app, I cannot find a print indicator for this particular app. Can you help. Please review this app for a revision to include a print indicator for printing.
Continuous reading
What I like most about the e-newspaper is the continuous reading of articles, no turning to page A-2 for the rest of the story, it just continues automatically.
Lack of help stinks
I’ve had trouble signing on to this app for weeks. I was able to get online using the browser on laptop. But I wanted the app on the tablet to work. Trying to get assistant is nearly impossible.
Pop Up ads
They are really annoying, especially for a paid subscription. What makes it even worse, they are misaligned on the screen, usually both ends are cut off and the type is incomplete on each end. Also they are for products that are very narrow in use, tech companies, or a national company that has no relevance to the Peoria area.
Terrible!
It used to be easy to read my paper. Now it suddenly restarts and I am unable to tap to read an entire article without page changes. It has become stressful to read it and it used to be one of my favorite parts of the morning.
