Love this app!
My favorite feature is the ability to scrub slowly through a video sequence (using the video’s slider bar) back and forth to watch the clip over and over. For example, I’m learning how to do forward loops, and watching Tonky Frans do a speed loop over and over in slow motion is so helpful for visualizing what is going on!
Veraltete Videos, die meisten lassen sich nicht öffnen
Bereue das Abonnement. Wollte mir Trainingsvideos anschauen, ausser Basics lassen sich keine Videos öffnen. Seit Jahren keine Upgrades. Keine Empfehlung. Besser auf kostenlosen Plattformen wie continentseven inspirieren lassen. Die Trainer in den Videos müssten inzwischen in Rente sein
Windsurfing
Größtenteils nicht auf deutsch aber ansonsten top. Leider geht die App (hoffentlich NOCH!) nicht mit dem iPhone 6s. Kommt noch die entsprechende Aktualisierung? Wenn ja, ist schon abzusehen wann?
App video on iPhone not working
The previous app was great. The new app not so much. The video window is too big in landscape mode and you can’t scroll the video left and right without moving the entire app. It makes it difficult to use.
Eigentlich gut, ABER…
die App wurde vor einigen Jahren - wie ich finde nicht gerade billig - als Ergänzung zum mittlerweile 2. Buch und den DVDs gekauft, um den Inhalt der DVDs auch mobil bei mir zu haben. Das ABER… auch mein Account wurde nach Jahren der sporadischen Nutzung zurückgesetzt und die bezahlten Premiuminhalte sind nur gegen eine erneute Bezahlung zugänglich. Für mich kein fairer Umgang… der Content, der bezahlt wurde, muss auch weiter zugänglich sein/bleiben…

In app Subscription does not work
Payed for a yearly subscription days ago to have access to content past the one week trial. The app does not update subscription status and I can’t find a way to contact the developer. Will request a refund.
Tolle Idee - bitte für iPad!!
Super Idee, Umsetzung gut. Aber bitte für iPad/ Universal-App!! Dann 5 Sterne. Außerdem wäre noch - vermutlich relativ simpel einzubringen - die Tabelle mit dem Schwierigkeitsgrad aus dem Buch und eine Übersicht der gemeisterten Manövern toll.

Leider auf der App sehr schlecht. Ladet die Viedeos nicht, hängt oft... sehr schade! Da das App und der Aufbau super währen. Kosten, naja... was nichts kostet ist nichts wert 🧐😉

Every windsurfer should have this app. It will save you years of frustration trying to learn new tricks.
zuerst top, dann flop
Gehöre zu den ersten Abonnenten der App. Es hat gut funktioniert, habe dafür aber auch bezahlt. Nach 2 Jahren wird mir plötzlich der Zugang verwehrt, mit der Begründung, man könne ja nicht ewig für das einmal bezahlte Geld die Inhalte konsumieren. Nach langer Diskussion (es wird einem ja auch nicht nach Jahren die DVD wieder weggenommen) bekam ich dann für ein paar Monate erneut Zugang zu meinem bezahlten Content. Seit einem halben Jahr bin ich schon wieder gesperrt und kann meine bezahlten Moves nicht mehr anschauen. Ich finde das geht garnicht. Diese App kommt mir nicht mehr auf mein iPad oder Handy. Ich verzichte gerne!

Idee gut, Umsetzung weniger
Die Idee hinter dieser App ist ja super, aber in der Praxis gehen die gekauften und downgeloadeten Pakete ständig verloren. Ich verwende die App 1-2x pro Jahr im Urlaub und dann muss ich jedes Mal wieder irgendwie im Ausland mühsam hunderte MB downloaden oder gar Pakete erneut kaufen - das ist mehr als ärgerlich...
Bugs need fixing
Just bought the extra non jumping section and watching various jibe turns but screen locked on black screen and not it's useless! Paid £6.99 about 2 minutes ago and now unable to use the whole package! Feel Very Cheated!
Fantastic App
This is a fantastic app. All the moves are presented in great detail and the ability to slow down the video is key. Michi (the Tricktionary author) is super responsive if you have any questions about the app. Excellent customer service!
I want to see tricks, not sign up for yet another account
It’s just not necessary. Deleted the app, as I am sick of requiring to give my personal details away to every Tom, Dick and Harry. Disappointing. Would be happier with ads or a paid app.

Overpriced!
If you're a beginner this is good, as those lessons are free (and they're well done!) After that modules are $9 buck EACH! They should be $2 bucks each and a complete download of all lessons for $15 to $25.

High quality and practical
Trictionary is a very thorough and well done app. It's got high quality video and instruction, and its well organized so you can find your way to the move you're working on even if you don't know the name. Only drawback is that sometimes navigating around the site is a bit tricky. But overall a great app and very helpful for anybody trying to work out a new move.
Früher Top jetzt Flop
Leider ist diese App komplett verschlimmbessert worden. Mal ist ein login nicht möglich, dann verschwindet das alte bezahlte Abo und neu bezahlte Bausteine verschwinden - sieht irgendwie nach übler Abzocke aus!

The ui is a bit clunky but the content is solid - would love an iPad edition!
Pricey and basic
Anyone who's gone through the pain of learning to windsurf (and we all have) only to realise the added pain of progression knows that you need far more than a few artfully shot pics in a hot climate and a nice video to supportively communicate any technique or move. I have spent time squinting at my iPhone screen trying to work out foot position, weight distribution, knees bent or straight, sail moving forward or back....it's not all it could be! Nice app but could be so much better, doesn't do it for me half as well as the book.
It freezes
The app is good. It is kinda expensive but I understand it costs a lot to shoot all the videos. Unfortunately, it freezes the iPod quite a bit on certain moves, for example monkey jibe. The video is probably corrupted.

Great app, very helpful and even though you pay £6.99 for the additional content IMO its worth it. Seems to crash out every so often on my 3GS with os5
Für Einsteiger günstig
Mein erster Eindruck dieser App: Für Anfänger ist der kostenlose Teil. Sicherlich sehenswert, Fortgeschrittene kommen um den teuren In-App-Kauf kaum herum. Bei dem Preis (drei Stück knapp 24,- €) tendiere ich zur gleichnamigen DVD oder dem Buch, zumal diese auch auf deutsch erhältlich sind.

Great app!!
Not much out there for windsurfers who are looking for a decent app to learn moves/tricks. This app is great for learning various tricks and every trick comes with a video!! What's also nice is that there are some land simulations to help with more advanced tricks. Great stuff!!
Just a front end
This app doesn't actually contain any instruction. It's just a front end to allow you to buy different modules, at $9.99 each.
Good but expensive
One of the best apps I have downloaded for free, clear instruction and very good video clips, easy to use. Only down side is the price @ £5.99 per section. But would recommend to any windsurfer!

Basic app is free but each major section costs £5.99. I'm not doubting the quality of the content but they will do better if they reduce the price. 5.99 for the whole lot is more like it.
