Mornings Inspired! Every morning I’m inspired and excited to join the experience of current events
I am seriously empowered for my day and well aware of current events wherever I watch ABC channel 7 news chicago! Just want to applaud your team and crew! Superb job keeping the public informed and aware! I know the cast crew each by name and look forward to seeing everyone daily!! Great Job!
Horrible
Possibly the worst “news” app from a third-rate news organization that is completely one-sided. They are too cowardly to report on what’s really going on.
Still have some bugs to fix
I like the app and that I can listen to the weather reports or other news on my time. However, switching to different videos is a problem on my iPhone. I can still hear the previous video in the background, after I close it out. So I have to close the app completely to make the ghost audio stop and start watching a new news reel.
Articles not linked correctly
Whenever I try to click on a notification for a news alert, it takes me to an unrelated article within the App and I’m not able to find what I’m looking for
Criticism
You tell us to visit your ap to find drop off locations for obsolete drugs. I cannot find the site nor a way to search for it.
Love Chicago’s #1 News!
WLS-TV is Chicago’s #1 news, bringing Chicagoans the latest on breaking news, weather, sports and entertainment. It’s the only station I turn to because I trust their team of dedicated reporters and anchors.
Deleting Disney News
Most biased news station since Disney took over. Plus the overwhelming amount of ads make this app intolerable. Deleting immediately. Used to be really good.
Don’t like the new app
Nooo! There are so many spelling and grammar errors. Spell check or use AI to write the stories. It’s not professional.
Not user friendly
This version does not allow for an easy transition from story to story. You continually have to return to the main page.
Good News App
Thanks Chicago, this is a good app check the news everyday
Audio Delays For Months and Getting Worse
ABC7 is my preferred station but there have been unaddressed issues with the audio not matching the timing of the video for months now and the audio delays are getting worse, up to several seconds of delay. It’s become so unwatchable on streaming that I use CBS now instead.
New ABC7 News app Layout
The new layout is not as customer friendly as the old layout used to be. The snapshot of each video was larger in size and much easier to see. Also, I was able to open the first article and be able to continuously scroll to the end. Now, I have to open and then close each article to get to the next one. Unless, I’m missing some special settings I can use to change this, I’m very disappointed with this new layout.
The app is not working
The app wouldn’t even open. All it is just a blank screen in which wouldn’t let me go to the home page. Is it iOS17 friendly. I have zero access to the app now! Even when I deleted it and reinstalled it still no access!
Doppler max broke
Doppler max has been stuck at 9:47 am for two weeks now
Horrible
Weather Cheryl should be sent to a C market where she belongs. And whoever made this app that rarely works.
App not working for abc7chicago
Your app hasn’t worked for 2 days. I even removed and added it again. All I get is blue screen and comes up if I want thanking or not. Only insigna I get is the channel 7 logo
Hard to see on iPhone
When I select the Weather option, many of the temperature features are cut off on my iPhone. I can see the temps but the days aren’t completely visible…the top of words are cut off by the header of the page. Yes, you can figure it out by just the bottom half of the letters but why? If I had a larger screen it might be fine. Development needs to check “views” on a variety of devices before pushing update. Also, why in the weather section, is it always a day behind. Example, under daily option, it has “Today” and “Sat” but today is Saturday. 🤷🏼♀️ The temps are different so…?
Love reading your news feed
I visited Chicago last July from Crewe N W England . Ever since then I’ve taken note of all things Chicago. Find this fascinating. Kind Regards T Rizzo
Poor rating
Often unable to tap on to preferred story; takes you to another story. Also many typos
App
Looking on the app for blood donation and can’t find it. Searched it, still can’t find it. The weather app is awful. If you’re looking for daily, it starts at 6 AM, but it’s actually noon. Not even sure if it’s on the right day. Not very helpful.
New update 👎🏽
I do not like the new updated version of this app, the old version was much better.
commercial
The amount of commercial on ABC7 are ridiculous!
Weather not working right in the updated app
It consistently seems to be a few hours behind.
Honest feedback
Can you please do something about your app / website? Whenever a breaking news items is sent you click on the app and that story is nowhere to be found or buried in the app. This isn’t the case with other tv stations
Pointless
Most of the stories are so poorly written and abridged that they're pointless. A third-grader could produce better journalism.
Notification does not open story
Please fix one pressing on news story notification from the home screen, it opens the app, but I have to search for the story sometimes I can’t even find it. Kind of useless notifications.
Switched to Channel 2
Due to slanted reporting and fake Sheryl Burton. We miss Mark.
