Life saving app
I have locked my keys in my car or not had my keys around so many times… And this app has saved me. I love it so much.
Useless app
Literally just downloaded it and it seems to not be working literally at all. It’s telling me to sign in. I am signing in. It is accepting my password and then rerouting me to the first page that tells you to sign in it is accepting my password over and over again, but nothing happens if I had been entering my password incorrect, it would tell me my password is incorrect. Instead, it is accepting my password and then redirecting.
So good so far !
I can’t imagine a vehicle charging you use a feature you already purchased and then say it’s good for two years then we. Red to charge you for it. Like a root canal, you going to stop me eating
No Connectivity On Last Day Of The Month
I recently purchased a new GMC in early July 2026. On July 31st I had no connectivity to my vehicle from about 10am until the following morning through the app. The same occurred on August 31st. Whoever you partner with for the connectivity between the app and the vehicle needs to sort this out.
Update the app
It takes longer than usual to start remotely.sometimes its not even working.

I wish the app had an option to have the truck start at specified time every morning

We love our GMC but the remote start is very inconsistent. It was one of the features we wanted. We have tried to ask for help to no eval.
Lack of features
I used to be able to control air from app and now I cannot which is a huge bummer.
2025 Acadia Denali
After driving a 6.2 Sierra Denali since 2007, I got this, took a little getting used to but have learned to like it quite a bit. Gas mileage is excellent. Made it from PHX to SD on .80 of a tank doing the speed limit. I wish the center display was more customizable and also wish I could add my own wallpapers to main display. Better facilitation of console storage and placement of usb ports. Not too big and not too small. Honestly, I wish it had the 5.3 in it (the 4 banger is sufficient enough power wise, but sounds anemic). I believe it would sell like hot cakes, even at current pricing.
Pay or useless
Unless you pay $15 a month this app is completely useless. Makes me miss my Ford. So much better.
Love the app
I love the app however I would like to see the current status of the car on the dashboard, ie the doors are unlocked or locked. Door open or window open
Initial issues
Speaker in driver side door rattles. When turning, often sounds like steering wheel is rubbing.
Sceptical
I like the app but ever since I did the upgrade, I’ve had major problems opening the app when I’m not home. I subscribed to the car WiFi but it doesn’t seem to work on my phone unless I’m in the vicinity of my home.
Way better than Ford
I have a Ford Expedition and recently bought a Canyon. The Ford app is hit and miss. The GMC app works great! Love it

Engine On / Off
When you start a truck with the Remote start app doesn’t show that truck is on.
Does the job, sometimes
I find that a lot of the time the app freezes or doesn’t connect to the vehicle. I’ve had it to where it takes up to 5 minutes to open the car even when you’re right next to it. It’s annoying. Needs work in my opinion.
Seats
Need to be able to turn the heater and cooled seats on from this app!!!
Low Oil Life Warnings, Errors, Junk
Well...whats new with GM apps. Constant "critical" warnings of low oil life despite having a 2026 model with 1500 miles...app continues to be full of bugs and problems. Welcome to GM.

Add more features
Additional features needed, like being able to see the current rate of charge on the app while charging, faster responses, as sometimes the system fails to respond, ability to raise and lower the vehicle from the app.
Updated - not as good
The app formerly had large icons and WORDS for start, lock, unlock. Now tiny icons with literally 1/32 of an inch of an opening to distinguish the unlock icon from the lock icon. Update bad.

Just 1 flaw but major!
When you open your app, why in the world would it not highlight what state your vehicle is in. Such as the doors are locked the tailgate is open, the car is running. What an oversight all they have to do is simply highlight if your vehicle is unlocked or not. Huh, what a thought??

Few controls
Why can’t we control the climate? Often times, I get in after remote starting and have to defrost my windshield. We should be able to choose this option in the app.

Map location
After a recent update to the app the map location section will not update.
CarPlay
It used to work beautifully until a couple of updates I think. No it does not sync up for CarPlay to use Google maps, music, radio. Back to the dark ages.

Not A Fan
Not a fan of the new changes to the app. Very disappointed. App was simple to use before, now you have to jump through hoops to use the app. No disrespect but the new changes SUCK!!!

برنامج متكامل ممتاز لكن اتمنى انه يكون اسرع حيث يكون نفس تحكم الفيديو المرفق لشرح البرنامج في اب ستور. واتمنى تحديث موقع السياره بحيث لا احتاج للتحديث كل قليل معرفه مكانها واتمنى ان يكون هناك الدعم عن طريق المحادثه المباشره
trusted vehicle function is glitchy
I have a 2024 GMC Hummer EV. MyGMC app has a feature called, trusted device, which unlocks the touchscreen in the vehicle when my trusted device, which is my phone running the app, it present. Three times now in three months, the trusted device feature has failed. The app goes into an endless loop of saying the vehicle is connected, when I turn on the trusted device function, it says cannot pair until the car is connected, but it shows connected. The resolution is to delete the myGMC app from my phone, unpair the phone and vehicle, and start all over. Overall, it's a good app, but this failure that requires a reinstall if what earns it 2 stars in my evaluation.
It ok
The app even though it shows it can do all of the functions takes quite a bit of time for it to actually reach the vehicle. Also I don’t know why gm makes us pay for the app when so many other car makers give the app for free. Seems like an app wouldn’t cost them that much. I know they are making a killing from just the sale of the vehicle

La idea es genial y la app es buena pero el servicio es malo en Mexico porque la conexión se pierde periódicamente. En USA funciona perfectamente aún para autos vendidos en Mexico.

Having control over HVAC after remote start would be nice. Also being able to see more stats on the vehicle while remote started would be helpful.
