Helps me stay focused every year!
I have used this app for the past 2 Christmases. I love how it counts down. I've actually shown children the countdown clock and they get excited. But, more importantly, I like the budget setting bc it keeps me on track and there are no surprises after it's all over. I also appreciate that I can put where I "hide" the gifts because I have a hard time remembering where I put things and then I'll find it after Christmas is over. Ugh! Great app to keep spending in check.

Great organizational tool
Have used this app for a number of years now and love it. Only request would be to see all gift photos in recipients’ lists and to be able to check gifts as “given” individually that were entered as a gift for multiple recipients.
Doesnt link between Devices
I have used this app for five years on my ipad. But it comes to a stop this year because i cannot sync it to my iphone. It would be very handy to use it while shopping. Santa’s Bag needs to join the modern world.

Lost all my info
Was great I used it for a couple of years, had the things I’d bought people previous years in there and lots of future gift ideas that I’d saved but it’s all gone! I contacted the app company and they got back to me right away but they have not retrieved my information 😢my advice pick a reliable app not this one.
Love it but
Have used this app for years and really love it. One thing I would like for them to add is an amount totaled on each person that you can see from the persons list. I purchased the app. There was an ad that was suspicious so I just got rid of the ads.
Terms of use policy too vague and long to understand
The old version of this app was great. I deleted it after the new terms of use because it contained so many vague references to things relating to privacy that I can’t know what it’s tracking, what it does with the information, and who it is shared with. I will not support apps that can’t tell me in simple language what they are collecting, and why.
Worked fine till now
Used this for 3 years, worked well, but now the app won’t open, can’t access my data, seriously considering trying another app if it doesn’t resolve.
Great way to budget and track Christmas!
I have used the Santa’s Bag app for a few years now and love the features. I am able to track who I get gifts for and how much. I’m able to set an overall budget to make sure I don’t overspend. I also love that I can track of the gift is a stocking stuffer or not. Another great feature is I can look at past years!
Info all gone!
I’ve used this app for the past few years (paid for version) but today have found that all previous info has gone! I stored previous years gifts to remind me what I’d bought before, & had all my recipients listed so I knew what I needed to. If it was a free app I’d accept that the details had been cleared, but having paid for the app I’m really not impressed!
Best Xmas list app - but…
Love this app. Far easier to use and keep track than others I have tried. BUT I wish it had iCloud sync across devices as I like to plan on the big screen of my iPad but access it on my phone when out shopping. PLEASE can this be added?
Changed for the worse
This ‘new’ version makes it more difficult to track spending. For example, there is no subtotal for stocking stuffers, nor does the app subtract your budget for each individual as you go. I am constantly pulling a calculator out to do what this app used to do before it was ‘improved’.
On the right track but needs work
When I try to add a note the keyboard hides the note section so can’t see what I’m typing. Also, would be nice to be able to make notes about different stores that carry if for price comparisons...

This is one of the BEST apps that was shared with me by a Mom friend❤️. Having four kiddos, it's hard to keep track of things during Christmas. Simply add your participants! Then keep track of each item wanted (yeah while chatting with your kiddos and something pops up as a need/want during the holiday season add it on the app), once purchased you can note whether it's ordered/wrapped, record what store you bought it from, price… If you want to keep track of that, lol, but best part of this app is you can add the LOCATION you hid it in!!😆. No more guessing where you hid that very special gift or coming across that present you bought 3 years ago during a deep house clean!! Get the App🎄❤️
Lost previous entries
I used this app for a number of years and loved it. With the new update, all of my previous entries disappeard. I used it to keep track of who gets what every year. Now I have no idea what I usually buy/tip for clients. 😞
Keeps Christmas organised!
Love this app and have used it for a couple of years now! Would highly recommend to anyone who has a list of people to shop for as it keeps me on budget and keeps track of what gifts I’ve already purchased or ordered so I can check when I’m out shopping or to feel like I’m making progress well before Christmas. Takes the stress out of the huge number we share gifts with. My only wish is for an update that includes a Secret Santa/Kris Kringle option where it saves who you’ve had each year to look back on and doesn’t delete the person and their gifts from the previous year by creating a new recipient. We have multiple Secret Santa groups we buy for which cuts down on people but I have no way in this app of tracking over the years who we have had. The only thing that lets this app down. Still have recommended to all my family and friends.
Was great
Was a great app. Had everything in it. Then 2 months before Christmas it crashes every time I try to open it. Had to delete the app reinstalled it but still crashes. And yes my phone is up to date!
It's great - until you want to use it the following xmas!
I used this app last xmas and it worked well for me. Unfortunately it doesn't let you archive last years gifts unless you upgrade to the pro version for $4.99 - which I'm not willing to pay. It's also really hard to delete the gifts individually. So that's it. Won't be using it again this year.

I have used this app for 4 years now.....downloaded again this year to do my yearly planning; however the save option under the recipients does not work, no way to track progress. Rendering this app useless now. Please update ASAP!

I loved the idea of this app and spent hours loading info into it on my iPad only to find that the app doesn't sync with other devices !! And it will be my iPhone I have with me when buying gifts. Very annoying when most other apps sync automatically across devices. I've also now got a new iPad and none of the data is stored anywhere so the money spent on the app is worthless because I don't have any of the data and haven't got the time to load it all in again. I've contacted support twice, three days ago and heard nothing back. Having read the FAQs it appears it doesn't back up unless I buy the advanced pack and then it syncs with Dropbox. It still DOESNT sync across devices.
Name and app logo problematic
I've just downloaded this app because it seems like the best one available- I really like it already- however I am fearful my children will see it on my phone as the name and logo are likely to expose a big secret!! Please think of a less incriminating name and logo... much appreciated.

As someone who buys early and stashes gifts away this app has been so great in not forgetting anyone or what I bought in July :) your people list stays in from the previous year - never deleting this app!
Latest upgrade and now just crashes on opening

Overall, a great app for Christmas organizing
This is my second year using Santa’s Bag and I like how it gives me the opens to set individual budgets and track spending. Word to the wise.... tuck this app in a folder that has zero interest to your kids if they ever use your phone. The picture of Santa is too enticing lol
Great for the first year
Awesome to track people and presents, but no simple way to clear the gifts from the previous year. I don't want to enter everything again!
Great app but needs syncing capability
I like being super organised for Christmas and this is the best gift app I have used so far, but I would like to be able to use the app on my iPhone and iPad and be able to sync between the two. I would like to use the app on my iPad at home & on my iPhone when christmas shopping so I can upload purchases on the go & use the shopping list. I'm not going to pay over $100 for Dropbox so I can sync between devices just for this app.
Organizer’s delight
So easy keeping track of people, gifts, sales, shipping and especially the locations of where you hid the gifts! (sadly I’ve hid them so well even I didn’t find them!)

A Must Have App for Organizing Gift Ideas!!
I have been using this app for over five years now and each year I set up the app for the new current year and create all of my family/friend/etc. profiles and throughout the entire year I will save items that make me think of them to their specific list and it is just perfect when it comes time for birthdays or Christmas. love this app and will continue to be a loyal user for as long as possible

Santas bag has been very useful! Helps me stay organized and aware of the budget. One suggestion would be to be able to access the gift list from the recipients. Also a birthday app that links to this would be great!

My only beefs are that I can make different lists with people on it, yet I can't view the individual lists?? and there is nothing to assign gifts to be given by different people. I can't easily see presents that my kids are giving each other.

Santa’s Bag APP provides the best tracking method for Christmas gifts, spending & wish lists. It’s so easy to sort by gift, recipient or $’s to quickly see what you’ve spent on who & how many gifts you’ve bought. Also provides a place to remind me of all those gifts I buy throughout the year. I love using the Santa Bag app.
Very good
This app is very good. Makes things easy. The GUI is set out very well and if your like me a Scrooge at Christmas it's good at keeping the purse strings in order. It's free as well. Defo recommend
