Indispensabile
Paywall
Gluten free people already pay twice as much to eat and making an app that’s functions only if you pay is ridiculous.
Buona applicazione, ma..
Troppe volte mi richiede il login!
Obsoleta
Id like to try it first
There should be the ability to try the app first before paying for membership. Also, membership is a bit confusing for someone coming from another EU country. Which region should I choose if I’m traveling all over Italy? The instructions need to be more clear.
Buona app
Ricerca locali disponibile solo a pagamento
Gluten Free finder
Nearly every business in Italy caters for gluten free (senza glutine) in italy however companies with this sign do not always cater well for gluten free and it not a sign of quality food.
Super
App bellissima. Top 🔝🔝
Se non si è soci è app inutile
sezioni consultabili soltanto in quanto soci paganti. App praticamente inutile.
App AIC
Comoda e sempre aggiornata
Troppi 40 euro
Poi in inglese mancano diverse traduzioni.
Consigli
We are traveling this week to Italy
The app is currently not loading. My wife has Celiac Disease and needs to know where safe places to eat are located. Please see if the app can be brought back online again. Thank you.
Come devo fare?! Grazie
So very helpful!
Finding restaurants with the app was so easy! There are definitely some restaurants with good gluten free practices that aren’t on the app but there were so many hidden gems on the app that we otherwise would never had found. We were only in Rome for a week so the temporary access worked great for us as tourists. Grazie!
Can’t register
I am told this app is awesome. I’d love to use it when I am on holiday in Italy. But to sign up for the 2 week Welcome access, I need to Login. This means I need to Register. I cannot register without a Member Code (or a ZIP code - which I don’t have, being from the UK). Disappointed.
Abbastanza soddisfatta
Great app when planning a trip to Italy
I’m from UK and I signed up for paid access to the app to see the official AIC list of GF certified restaurants (and gelaterias!) so I could plan my visit. All of the approved venues were great. And it was also reassuring to see the restaurants using AIC approval for advertising, thereby helping to promote AIC and giving customer’s confidence in just how seriously coeliac disease is taken. Note to developer: it would have been even better if access was available for 4 weeks.
Frustrating
The initial menu is in English but then everything else is in Italian
Da migliorare
Aggiorno mio precedente recensione.
Amazing thank you
This app helped make our trip to Italy amazing. To be able to find safe restaurants in every city was incredible. Thank you AIC! It would be nice to be able to use the app for more than 2x2 weeks as a visitor/tourist.
Not impressed (so far)
I paid the $2.99 as I am not an Italian citizen and I still cannot use the app despite the charge being present on my card and Apple saying my purchase was successful. I will update if I ever get access 🤦🏼♀️
Disappointing Changes
I am sad that as a tourist visiting Italy, I can only pay the $2.99 to access gluten free venues twice for 2 weeks, then I would have to join the AIC, which I cannot do, because I don’t live in Italy. Your app is so helpful to people with celiac that travel to Italy. Please give tourists the ability to access gluten free venues as many times as they want. I am willing to pay every time. Thank you!
Other reviewers Issues seem fixed
I’ve been using the app for the last few hours and all the issues with people saying the app doesn’t recognize membership seem to be solved. The app is very complete and perfect for my two week trip. I’m not sure what would happen beyond there though.
