KLM flight cost scam
It is reprehensible that a flyer cannot understand what the total cost of their flight will be until after they’ve booked and then discover that they have to pay more for each leg of their flight just to get a seat. Doubt will ever fly you again.

Too many push notification ads
I need push notifications turned on for legit travel notifications but I only fly KLM 1-2 times a year. However, I get push ads multiple times a week. Very annoying.
Visa fee
Off loading visa fees to customers is unconscionable. Shame on you!
Best airline and app
I have been using KLM for almost two years. App is great design and quick to follow without any erros. Besides great airline and combo to USA with Delta with WIFI and very nice flight attendents.

Easy and friendly apps
It is very easy convenient to book travel in the apps.
Track Luggage
Example, Flight KL1101 today, connecting from KL1654, luggage tracking showed “in transit” the plane door closed…take off and landing (of course no wifi on board). Landed, track luggage feature gone…fortunately I took a screenshot as the luggage receipt was badly printed/hard to read. Just when some information would be helpful, even a notice that due to the tight connection, it was not possible to transfer the luggage but it will be on the next flight, instead, feature removed. Tracking something when everything goes according to plan isn’t when it’s helpful. Might as well design a fridge that turns the light on inside only when it is shut.
Vreemd antwoord
Als verliep goed en vlot tot ik moest bestalen. Toen kreeg ik het antwoord dat de betaling niet gelukt was …… gebeurd mij nooit via Wero, daarna nog eens geprobeerd weer niet….? En dan opeens de melding Ja uw betaling is gelukt. Vreemd. U even checken of ik een stoel heb.

KLM are okay but expensive and then there is little time to complete security at Schiphol which is always so so slow.
Nice, with a bug
This is definitely one of the nicer airline apps I’ve used, however, on a connecting flight the dynamic widget continually shows the landing gate of the first flight, even well after landing. It should show the new boarding gate within a half hour of the first leg landing.
Convenient and organized
KLM made my travel arrangements very smooth and relaxing . From quick payment confirmation to easy change of tickets on the phone and reminders to check-in online etc. they’ve made me confident to travel around with a sound mind .
Needs a lot of improvement
This is probably the clunckiest app any airline may have. I have used many, and this is the least intuitive, the least logical and so full of bugs. I entered the country of residency at least four times. Scanning the documents with wrong information. Sent me to Square one several times. KLM you can do better!!
Widget iOS
Widget op iOS voor volgen vlucht werkt niet. Op het widget blijft staan “Hallo voeg een vlucht toe om te volgen”, ondanks dat in mijn reizen een vlucht staat. Bij poging tot delen feedback via de vraagteken knop in de app loopt de app vast (Fout er ging iets mis… Probeer het opnieuw).

I tried 5-6 times to enter my details and sign up. Each time it wants to confirm email It takes more than 60sec to get the email by which time It times out. Now I am logged out for trying too many times in a day! Needs amending
ALWAYS TOPS KLM
I have flown KLM for many many years and I have never been disappointed with the glass of service I have received. From first class to the lowest economy the service is always excellent. And the crew friendliest ever.

This trip to Africa with KLM has been the worst overseas trip I have had in 20 years of travel! Canceled flights, changed flights and a less than useful app, disallowing check in or any other changes.
Seats
Not the most convenient path if you book for more than 1. Also, I still can’t believe we pay over 3,000€ for a 12h flight and still are sort of forced to pay for seats (37€ cheapest) if we want to be sure to sit together. It happened to us more than once now that we had to sit separate. So nót customer friendly…
Great air line poor app
Love KLM they are my go to airline and always have amazing service but the app they have is not great. It stalls and crashes often and is frustrating. Please get it up to the standards of your flights!!
Missing Seat Selections
You can no longer see the seat selections you made at purchase. Instead the app invites you to choose your seat. I had to chat with customer services to confirm that I had not lost my seat choices. This is a bug that needs to be fixed.

Good cabin crew, flight crew kept us informed of maintenance issues as they were resolved. Will fly you again❗️

Preferred airline just now
Recently I’ve used klm as it’s easier to use app, doesn’t go anywhere near Heathrow which I really love! Using Amsterdam as a transit hub is really easy & quick compared to the nightmare that is Heathrow. Only thing I find interesting now is that I searched yesterday on BA app for flights to S Africa. Today I get notification from klm about “explore Africa!”. There’s got to be some sneaky cross app data flow going on. This I hate & makes me think twice about using any company that does that.
Poorly Designed App
This app is difficult to use. It is not at all intuitive and to try and find ways to change an existing flight is utterly impossible. Moreover, when I called customer service to book the flights with points, I was quoted 114,000 miles for two passengers flying one way from Neace to Paris in business class when I went to the app to book that flight the same flight was now 141,000 miles. When I attempted to book at the higher level, it wouldn’t go through so I had to call customer service again. Customer service informed me that the 141,000 mile award was no longer available and it was now 164,000 miles. This seems like a classic bait and switch consumer fraud and I am very dissatisfied with the way this app works and in Air France from a customer satisfaction standpoint.
Seat selection
Why don’t you allow me to make a seal selection before or right after ı do the payment? You’re the only airliner that does this, surely Air France, too.
Easy to use
Excellent and intuitive format. Easy to check options and book flights. With or without miles.
Paid for a window seat, but KLM reassigned it
I am very disappointed with KLM’s handling of my seat reservation. I purchased my ticket and paid an additional fee specifically to select a window seat for my flight from Chicago to Amsterdam. KLM later changed the aircraft and automatically reassigned my seat, taking away the window seat that I had already paid for. I understand that operational changes and aircraft substitutions can happen. However, when a passenger pays extra for a specific seat preference, KLM should either provide an equivalent seat or promptly refund the additional amount paid. It is extremely frustrating to pay extra to secure a window seat and then have that selection taken away through no fault of the passenger. A paid seat selection should not simply disappear because the airline changes the aircraft. I expect KLM to either restore an equivalent window seat without charging me again or refund the full amount I paid for the original seat selection.

I didn’t like AirFr and I wasn’t able to order Lactose free meal. Also, the seats were too close together. I asked for Comfort Economy

Like every other SkyTeam member airline app codeshare tickets are a nightmare. Not user friendly at all.
Intuitiveness
Navigating to different flights and options to could be a bit less confusing and more intuitive for ease of use. When in a hurry difficult to navigate.
Portrait on Landscape
The KLM app will only show on my iPad as portrait so I have to type sideways when using my attached key pad. Please allow app to be Landscape view. Thank you

They cancel flights without notice, refuse to refund extra options and then blame the customer. Terrible airline.
Not the first time
Been on KLM many times . I’ve lived in the states since 1970 used KLM . Always had good luck and favorable reviews off KLM when I left LA . Perfect . But the only complaint. The long distance you have to walk to pick up your bags When you arrive from a 10 hr flight . And you have to walk along way to get to your gate . But all is well Thank you . PS: cheaper air fairs from LAX or coming to LAX from AMS would be easier on the pocket book
Constantly crashes
Rarely able to load what I need to first time around. Check in always has errors. Unable to navigate to KTN online or on mobile app.
Login issues
Despite having flying blue for years already I am continually asked to login, my password which is consistent is often rejected. Booked trips come and go on the app and frustration sets in. If I wasn’t such a big fan of the airline I am sure I would start shopping elsewhere. But then again I have encountered similar issues with other airline apps.

All is good great destinations - when you try onto book online for disabled it is impossible. Book regular and later call to make specific arrangements for disabled
Shoves ads in your face
When I have a flight planned, I want the airline app to give me notifications about, say, delays or gate changes or weather updates. I do not want the app to notify me, with just as much urgency, that I can get a 15% discount on something I don’t use, or that there’s some useless one-time-only extra flier miles if I take a diversion to East Podunk Iowa. This is why I delete your app the moment I step off the plane, while your competitors’ apps stay on the phone.
Used to work smoothly
I have used the KLM app for years and never had an issue This current version (I have checked and there is no update) freezes a lot when trying even simple actions. No longer allows to confirm passport or visas - just says cannot check in. Then it freezes resulting in having to crash the app and restart. What happened to an app that was one of the better airline apps???
