Android Version Better
I’ve used the Android version for over 7 years and prefer that one much better. I recently made the switch to IPhone and don’t like how I can’t make a Spark Calendar Widget.

Frustrating…..
I have paid for a subscription and yet on a regular basis I am asked to renew it. I log out of my account and then back in again and have no problems until next time I go to use the calendar. I have over the years repeatedly contacted the developer over this issue with no resolve. So as the title says “ Frustrated”

The app is ok but should not have to pay an annual fee just to use a calendar. Stop begging for money!!

I would recommend this Calendar for everyone. The only downside to this calendar is that it does not have a widget option for iOS.

lifetime membership
i bought this a lander app when it first came out and it had a one time lifetime fee which at the time was around 8 dollars for the app. i felt it was a good deal as i liked how i could use the 12 hour work day and use it as my work days were work monday tuesday off wednesday thursday. then work friday saturday and sunday. then off monday and tuesday work wednesday thursday and off friday saturday and sunday. so when i first got the calendar app i was having trouble making the days and calendar work. so i reached out to the staff and was helped and shown how to use the app. then in 2017 i was told i needed to start paying for a membership fee. i explained to David that i had paid for a lifetime membership and he extended me for 5 years. so i just went to update my calendar with a doctor appointment and when i tried it said my membership expired. so how can a lifetime membership expire ? so i wrote customer service and was told by David that no more extensions would be given and that i have to pay for the yearly service now talk about customer service going down the drain. went for great to piss poor. so be aware if you buy the lifetime membership as it’s not a lifetime. it’s more like what ever they decide
Fire scheduler
Great App especially now it can transfer information from other supported calenders. The only thing missing for me is the ability to identify when I'm on a flexi duty 24
Personal info access
Downloaded this to use for 999 shifts but the app wants you to sign up with yr email etc!! Looks good but why the need to share my info?
Good- Needs updating
Update Oct 2024- I am excited to hear a new owner is resurrecting the app and will update this app in due course- I have been in talks with the new owner on Facebook and email and hope this is something to get excited about. Watch this space. I have used this app for many many many years and don't get me wrong- it is brilliant. However a lot of similar type apps have caught up with Spark over the last few years (such as Supershift) and this app is starting to feel clunky. Don't get me wrong- it does what it needs to do but it's the difference between when Microsoft does something and Apple does something- currently this app is Microsoft, functional but a bit old and clunky. It needs to have the 'Apple' twist- look better, more user friendly and be more sleek. Supershift is not as good as this app in that it doesn't calculate rest days and leave hours etc, but it looks and feels premium and is a one off payment to get some decent features. I don't mind paying the annual subscription for this app but for me to continue it's got to step up to the plate.
Best shift calendar
For shift workers this is absolutely the best calendar ever. Been using it all for 10 years now for my 48/96 schedule. Completely customizable to fit your needs and keeps up with trades. Will probably use this even after I retire!
Find another app
I used this app for years and it worked great. My Dept is now going to a new shift schedule and I needed to change the shift calendar. I emailed the developer and got no response. It looks like most of the comments and updates are YEARS old. I would recommend choosing a different app.
great apps but miss some good thing...
we can sync with google calender but we cant with ical ... and i have the application on my iphone and ipad but they cant sync each other... hope an update coming soon to fix that. with an update like that 5/5 for sure

I recently purchased this app and it will not allow me to add to calendar. When i try to submit a ticket it gives me an error unable to send.. how do I contact them???? Please help.

Not working
It’s only completing a part of the schedule rotation. I’ve checked settings and attempted several times. Can only get one shift of 3 (all same pattern) to show correctly.

Good app, weak customer service
I really love the app, but I can’t share with my wife. I brought it up and he made a meager attempt to fix it, which was never resolved. It’s too bad for me since I’ve used this app for 7 years, and there’s a lot of information stored, but the problem only came from getting a new phone. When I followed up with suggestions, he completely ignores me. We had nothing but cordial communications, but if the problem is too complicated, he’ll suggest that you find another app. When you’re the minority in complaints, you’re expendable apparently. Again, great app, poor customer service.

Fire Rota app
This app delivers. You can easily set up your watch system on it and just use it like that. Or You can sync it across your phone, your iPad whatever, and use it as your main calendar for reminders meetings and centralising all your calendar needs. Pretty good app eh!

This schedule was my main source of organization in my busy life. From appointments to Court dates. Since the update I've lost absolutely all of it, which will take me an extremely long time to recover. Thanks for taking a great app and turning it into junk. Don't bother buying something with little to no costumer support. In fact I wouldn't buy anything from this provider again
Not a bad shift work app.
I work in the power industry here in Australia, so a good shftwork app for me is a very handy tool. Firehouse Scheduler is meant for fire fighters but I was able to "kludge" my roster onto it. It doesn't look perfect but I s'pose it works. It lacks a decent sync feature. I can't get it to sync properly between iPad and iPhone. Somehow data gets lost in the translation, as it were. I like the stats feature. However, I can't get it to work properly with my annual leave, sick leave, hours owed, worked, etc. But then it isn't meant for what I do, I suppose. Until someone comes along with a better shift work app then this will do.

It works well, but they keep asking me to write a review every other day. So hopefully me writing this review will stop them from asking me to write a review.
Update screwed me
Paid the original price for the app. Downloaded the update. Now it asked for subscription fees and you lose all your saved data. Great job guys
Ok but could be better
Would prefer arrows to change from month to month as the swiping doesn't work very well. Also the today marker needs to be more visible. My shifts has a white watch which is yellow on the Rota so I can see the today marker. Would also be good if could choose to go straight into Rota when open app rather than having to select
