What’s lacking?
There needs to be a search tool.
Alerts very timely
Great getting news alerts as they happen.
Lot Ads
When I tried to watch a note, during the video the advertisement does not allow to watch. I recommend to limit them.
Often frustrating!
I will often get an alert about some news or hear it on TV but it is nowhere to be found d on your website.
Best People All Around
Thank you KVIA El Paso for being so instrumental in helping us as a small local business! Your genuine heartfelt and sincere concerns for small businesses all over El Paso is so much appreciated and needed. You all go above and beyond the news! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!
Disappointing
Always freezing
Review
Like news, weather, X-tra and senior anchors. Newer anchors seem to stutter reading news more often than other channels. Still best channel overall.
Terrible App
Viewing the app is very difficult. It appears to be slow due to the constant downloading of ads. Features frequently do not respond to touch actions.
Videos stall and stop constantly through play
Great station and reporting. Videos constantly stop and require tapping the play/stop to continue. Frustrating! This is ongoing.
Good
Love the thorough news
Still no night or dark setting
App is VERY bright. Puts out LOTS of bright white light
Cloudcroft Weather
Thanks so much! We get better weather for Cloudcroft, NM from you than we get from NM news!
Videos don’t work on this app.
For some reason on ios 14.4 videos won’t load on this recently updated app. Have to go to the website to see any videos.
Waiting to stream live news on ios
The only thing lacking on this app is the ability to stream live news broadcasts on apple ios devices.
Awesome news
That’s the only news I watch … cause all the anchored are awesome. It’s such a credible news congratulations. Keep doing the great job you’ll all doing KVIA 7 is number 1 👏👏👏👏
What happened to editors, or spell check?
On a regular basis, stories post on the site that present improper word usage. The stories seem to post without review, providing the reader with doubt concerning the veracity of the story. As a subscriber, I demand that news stories be factual and correct, much like they most often appeared in print, when editors did their job.
So far has been great.
The app has been great so far. I'll type more as I use it more.
Several Years and Still Buggy
Have had issues in the past where app would totally crash so decided not to download it. Finally when I decide to reload it after a few years I’m thinking maybe something has been fixed. Nope same issue. When a news update pops up and I click it the news story sometimes pulls up with an advertisement which I click x to exit. Once I do that story pulls up and shortly after completely crashes. Have to reload app and try to get back in to click story to load. Need to fix this bug very annoying.
Joel
Excellent!
Bad app
This app is bad
Live stream not working!
I catch most of my news from your great app but I also livestream and for the past month it has been kicking me off after just a few seconds of beginning the stream. I’ve looked for updates, deleted and added the app and it still does the same. I have an iPhone 8. Please fix!
Amazing!!
I like checking out and seeing what is going on in El Paso. Viva El Paso!!
Trash app
The app only loads commercials not the actual videos. First time using app and it’s not working. Tried to load on wifi and mobile networks and all commercials no video. ABC trash anyways trump haters are losers
Duplicate Push Notifications!
Duplicate push notifications aren't as bad on an iPhone/iPad, but on an Apple Watch...it's pretty useless. It'll display 'you have two KVIA messages' instead of breaking news, making it an inconvenience on the Apple Watch. Other than that, this is always the first of my various news apps to push breaking news.
KVIA News app
A must have
KVIA app has too many bugs
App is freezing and crashing too much. I look into my crash log on phone (settings >privacy >analytics data) and the KVIA app is a long list of entries. Way more than any other app.... why? Please fix this!
Crash Alert
App constantly crashing, useless.
Reliable
Getting news on time as it happens around the world as well as here
Gone
No longer active. Says it's in negotiation with DIRECTV. Was 5 star before that happened.
Duplicate Push Notifications
It's so annoying to receive 2 & 3 notifications of the same thing, for every single notification sent. I have to close multiple notifications instead of just one. Why is it doing this? I'll try deleting & reinstalling. It's been like this for a year & I'm tired of it... 😡
Up to date
I love keeping abreast with news electronically. I enjoy being kept up to date with information.
WORST NEWS APP EVER
crashes and constant bugs made this app worse
Review mediocre
Mediocre app. Does not provide traffic updates or construction closures.
Great app!
A great "go-to" for keeping up-to-date with the news! I use this app daily! 😉
KVIA
Putting out up to date news less and less. Does National Enquirer ring a bell.
Repeats
Your app has constant repeats of the same stories .... Why is that?
