The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp
The best of the Old West
Horrible (stop deleting reviews)
Direction of pikes has gone nothing but downhill and they only seek to destroy themselves. It’s the worst app they’ve ever released and stop deleting reviews trying to control the narrative with bots
Commercials freeze
When watching show or movies there’s no problem with freezing but as soon as a commercial comes on it takes at least 5 minutes for it to make it through all of them. I usually have to close the show I’m watching and then hit resume. This happens when on WiFi or cellular network so I guess this is a glitch with the app.
RIP Pre-Redesign
If you weren't here before the redesign, I'm sorry. At the same time you might actually enjoy the app. For those of us who have been using Plex prior, this app has become an abysmal experience. Last week I could play videos, but then I could not exit them. This week I can exit videos, but I cannot pause them. And when I say. "I cannot", I mean, the buttons do not exist on the screen. Someone in their product department clearly called the shock to release this redesigned app before it was ready and we are suffering for that decision. I don't know if they believe that they could iterate quickly and fix it before it bothered us too much but reality isn't that convenient. What's craziest is that they'll get something right but then it'll be broken again the next month or week. Like they don't have tests for what they are releasing?
Memory Leak
Memory leak is causing battery to deplete much faster.
Kedamono
Kedamono no kao wa. Popee the performer I can’t watch it so I delete
what a terrible piece of software
I paid hundreds of dollars for the Plex pass and this software is terrible. Half the time only one library will work at a time, log out, log back in the other library will work. then constant playback errors. It's only the iPad app. My smart TV works fine, web browser works fine, friends iPhones work fine. It's just this terrible terrible software, please fix it I've given you hundreds and hundreds of dollars
Play/Pause and Skip buttons are back
Finally fixed that part
Update Causing Issues
I recently upgraded to the new version of the Plex Server software and now am experiencing buffering issues on playback.
Horrible UI, but it works
When I first started using plex it was 5 stars. I had nothing to complain about. I purchased a lifetime plex pass to support the team. Then over the years they started making the UI worse and worse. The app still works great for me, which is why I am giving it 3 stars. But the UI makes no sense. If they continue down this path I will start exploring other solutions.
I have one question
Can I watch Kamen rider ooo on it
Plex is trash, used to be the best
iOS crashes constantly, whatever they have done lately is garbage. I play a movie for 3 minutes and it bugs out. I’ve played movies and tv shows for over a decade without issue and now it’s absolutely useless. Moving off plex completely soon.
Full Screen Player Missing Control in Current Version
I don’t know what happen but this current version, when start a movie it goes directly to full screen and missing all the controls. You can still double tap to fast forward and back, but can’t pause, can’t play, can’t get to menu, all the controls are missing
Great When It *Actually* Works
There is not a single day that I don’t have an issue with this app. Refusing to load my libraries, saying I can’t access said libraries without paying before finally letting me access after 15 minutes of opening and closing the app. Getting stuck buffering because I decided to move 2 feet within my apartment, despite the fact that I am as connected to the internet as I could be, full bars and all. Either AI is being implemented and it is completely screwing up everything on the watcher’s end, free access isn’t actually accessible because it gets throttled, OR this app just runs horribly. Either way, it’d be cool if the app would actually work.
Deputat
People are complaining that you took away the ability to control the player! Restore normal operation, why did you break it?
I LOVEEEE THISSSS
bro this app is so good and it’s free and I know the owner it’s crazy how a man like that could make this like BRO YOUR SO TALENTED
Tanking their own product
Updates a few months ago rendered the TV App useless. Glitches, extreme lags, and crashes are constant. Force restart is necessary at least once every time I use Plex now. Totally ruined the experience. Fix your sht.
Don’t update latest ipad version till they release bug fix
I 💕plex but new ipad release has no buttons once the film starts playing. toilet and popcorn breaks are tricky without a pause button lol
Where are the controls?
Can no longer turn off subtitles, play/pause whatever I am watching. All the controls have disappeared. Those buttons are no longer showing on the screen.
‼️Insanely raised commercial volume levels‼️
‼️Insane raised commercial volume levels‼️ Especially through google tv
It’s evolved to be one of the best media centers out there.
I’ve used Plex for about 10 years now. It’s evolved to be one of the best media centers out there. Always reliable and terrific quality. Get the premiere edition for all the features. A one time payment and you’re good to go!
Freezes all the time
It disconnects from my server constantly and freezes while I’m sitting next to server.
Love it but a scam
Best app ever but it is a scam! The title is and I quote plex FREE movies and tv well that’s all fake the only free stuff is live tv Chanel’s apart from that NOTHING is free
Quality Settings
Please dear god let me change the settings while casting again, this is so annoying.
Search bar
Whenever I try to search for a movie or an actor nothing is available. Search bar does not work
Warning, best app ever!!!
It’s so perfect that I can download stuff on there and is perfecto of course you have to do it. You have to download it if you wanna have the best app ever!!!
Disgusting!
Take my money then track me. I think not. Good thing jellyfin is better anyway. See ya plex. Either my money OR tracking (and I don’t use you). Jabbing me from both ends is unfair kind of like a sick predator. Go play with your billionaires. I am out!
review
Needs improvement.
No NAS library access
I upgraded to this latest update but since my media on my local media server is not accessible via IOS. I can still access my data via Android or via the web url on WiFi. Hopefully there is a fix soon.
Downloads don’t sync
Recent updates seem to have broken things because anything downloaded to my phone no longer synchronizes the watched status.
Omg
Best free movie serves ever doesn’t cut good parts or anything
Garbage UI
Switching to Emby. Plex doubled down on a fundamentally broken UI. None of my family knows how to use this app and I’m finding myself to be tech support every other day. Best way my friend described it is “something is always wrong and I started to feel bad asking for help”
Plex design
Love Plex for my server and all the features but I think they are due for a redesign of their website and especially their apps to follow the new Liquid Glass design that apple is implementing.
Used to be great but
Latest version of the app is constantly failing to load my content, and now it complains my server is out of date - yet it's running the latest version. Yet mysteriously it has no problem playing junky free content and ads.
Unwanted features over bugfixes
It’s disappointing that we’re seeing new social features when the user interface for downloads and ability to play downloads is still terrible, and they’re removing existing social features like watch together
Good app
Wish you could watch more tho
Worst Update to an App Ever
This app was outstanding for many years, but the redesign update completely ruined every single aspect of this app. Now this week they update it once again and somehow made it even worse. I get updates the fix a large number of issues and accidental introducing a few new issues. This isn’t that by any stretch of the imagination being they just keep adding bugs and never fixing any of the previous bugs. I genuinely wish they would bring back the old app and test this version before full release. Instead I have to consider dumping plex entirely for an alternative… Plex Devs please do better.
Pretty good
It’s pretty good but I wish instead of having to request a movie/show it wpuld just be on here.
iPad bugs
Pretty buggy on iPad
Live TV w/ OTA BROKEN!
Plex needs to fix Live TV in this app. I should be able to view Live TV without the stream starting from the beginning of the recording. This last update now shows the time scrubber but it flat out does not work and forces me to continue from the beginning of the recording. If there is a slight blip in connection, the stream will automatically restart at the beginning. Incredibly frustrating!
Eh
It’s ok.
This sucks
The fact that some people still have older phones like I still have an 8 phone and you can’t get on stuff like this. This is so wrong to just have hire people that have higher numbers on their phone that can afford phones. I can’t even hardly afford my rent for the food on my table or the bills and yet this is just unfair to a lot of people.
Mostly good
Has a few glitches where I have sound and black screen, or freezes and doesn’t move to next episode. Love that I can watch old shows like Father Knows Best.. really enjoying this.. thanks Plex Thanks for having this wonderful free service.
Frustratingly Buggy
Paying for Plex Pass and having to deal with such a buggy and unintuitive app is insulting. Downloaded videos freeze and crash if the wifi/network status changes (which shouldn’t impact them at all since they’re downloaded already). Trying to adjust the playback position while in Picture-in-Picture mode also makes the videos freeze and crash. Progress bar in PiP is incorrect. Also, why aren’t we able to customize the buttons on bottom row of the app? As a paying client, I shouldn’t have to deal with fixed “Live TV” “On Demand” and the “Discover” buttons here when I don’t use any of them; I’d rather be able to add quick links to my own Movie and TV libraries and my downloads.
Genuinely breaks with every update
I don’t know how it’s possible that the IOS app for something as widespread as plex is this bad. Who keeps merging bs code to prod bro fire them please I’m begging you
Good service
Asked for a refund because I let the pass go too long when out of town and they gave it easily. We use it at home all the time! Works great
Worst streaming app I’ve ever used
Can not watch a single thing in decent quality without buffering. The only way it doesn’t buffer is if I put the quality on 140p, which at that point is not even worth watching because you can’t even tell what is on the screen
Warlord
Period costume is well put together
More ads than entertainment
I’m tired of trying to watch something only to be attacked every few minutes with 2 minutes of the same dumb ads that I just watched 2 minutes earlier. I do understand how advertising works, but you look to torture your audience with a blitzkrieg of ads that just have us all circling around and returning to the same nowhere where we just came from. I don’t expect this comment to be posted because there’s too much truth in it, which I imagine you don’t like very much.
Remote watch pass
Just signed up for the remote watch pass, but apparently that just works on your phone and not on your Apple TV. If you want to remote stream to your Apple TV, you need a different subscription than remote watch what nonsense. It might have to start looking for a new immediate server. There’s lots of other ones out there.
