This is an amazing app. But it has lots of ads.
No videos
Before updating I could see both a still and a video for each animal. Now I only see still pictures.
Decent app, but could be better
My toddlers love the animal flash cards, but some of the pictures are a bit strange. Like the bull and lamb. The poor lamb has spray paint. ALS, can someone fix the fact that the ostrich flash card does not have the woman reciting the word “ostrich”? It only has the sound.
Time to renew
I was using this up for years for teaching first words to babies. I still like it, but I'm sure it’s time to renew the pictures, as technology is getting much better, and life is moving ahead. I am sure, you can find really better images that are up to date.

I’d give this a 5 star if he ads weren’t so easily assessable. My one year old is always hitting them. Very frustrating.
Worked with my son BUT now
The videos aren’t working anymore, they’re used be videos of the animals and cars but they don’t work anymore.
Great for Toddlers
This app has greatly helped my children with letter recognition, color recognition and their first words. I have three kids and they all have used this app! So glad I found this app all those years ago!

Updated Review
Recent patch fixed the bug that would crash the app after hitting next. Now the app once again works perfectly for my daughter. It should be noted that this app does have ads and they are very close to the buttons on the bottom. You can pay to remove the ads permanently or change the settings so there are no longer buttons and you can just slide to the next card. That helped my daughter for a while but I choose to just remove them as she would sometimes still hit the ads. It should also be noted that you can now get a bundle with this app ad free for about the same price as removing them from this free version. My suggestion would be to try the free version and if you like it get the bundle. Overall this app works really well and my daughter as well as her cousins really enjoy using it.
Deceiving purchase
My 17 month old has been using the free app for a few months and loves it. The ads were driving me crazy so I chose to upgrade to the ad free version in the app itself. My husband pointed out I could have gotten four apps (the bundle for $4.99) for the same price. Upgrading the free version should automatically give you this bundle. I'm highly disappointed. If you plan to get the ad free version delete the free version first, and hen get the bundle instead. Learn from my mistake! Ugh.
Where are the videos?
This app was cool until the videos disappeared . What happened to them. It was the only reason I purchased it.

Too many ads for little one
To maneuver by themselves. If you tap before ad is finished, App Store opens up and creates distractions that little one gets bored. Otherwise it’s a cute app that teaches a variety of items like foods, body parts, vehicles, colors shapes etc.

D move putting the ad bar right were they know the kid will click it...would love to pay for the app to get rid of it, but sorry not for 5 bucks. 99 cent app 1.99 being generous!
Don’t pay for it
It’s a good app. My kids love it. But I paid for the ad free and it still has adds and is hard to block my small children from clicking them. Also some are not appropriate for their ages. I have tried to reinstall the app and different devices and ads still show up.
Definitely worth it if you have kiddos.
Good variety, easy enough that they can use it on their own, and since it's a bunch of small categories it lends itself to reasonable stopping points for screen time. Glad they updated for the new iOS!
Disappointed
I’m not sure how I came across an email address for this company but I wrote them several times asking how to remove ads from one device. I paid for the added feature of not having pop up ads while my toddler watches this. For some reason, the app recognizes that I paid for that benefit on one device (iPad) but on my other device (iPhone) the ads continue to pop up. It’s very annoying especially since my account is all under one email address and I paid extra so that I wouldn’t get any pop-ups. The pop-ups disrupt the learning process and make it difficult to let my child watch without me hovering over.

I love this app! My son loves this app! He's played with it for about a year now, since he was around 1. He's learning lots of good things thanks to this! The only reason I give it 4 stars is because they changed something that makes adds pop up, rather than needing to be clicked on... I don't need to upgrade to the full version yet because my son is still so little, so I don't like that the adds can't be covered up with guided access like they used to be able to be.. Which is super aggravating to me. I'm still not going to buy the full version, so it's just bothersome for no reason. But really, that's the only thing I don't like about this app!
Video not viewable
Previously the videos are viewable. But now the new version only can listen to the video.

But I was trying to upgrade the app for no ads since I purchased awhile ago and it crashed. So uninstalled and reinstalled and now it crashes from the start 😔. Please fix!

Crazy glitched out
The app keeps repeating The intro that says e flash apps in a never ending loop. I paid for it without adds please fix ASAP and I’ll update my review. Very disappointed

Bugs
App keeps closing after you click on it to open. I deleted and reinstalled and now there are adds on it. I paid for this app because my son likes to click on all the adds. Please help.
22mo twins love it!
I recently bought iPad minis for my 22mo twins just for when they get impatient in the car or a quick break for me when I cooking meals. What I realized quickly is there isn’t many apps for their age group that isn’t just videos. Unfortunately the upgrade is necessary but I can’t believe the progress they’ve made in such a short time with their vocabulary skills.
Ads
I had this app for my first son (who is 5 now) and he absolutely loved it. Now I have a 1year old and this would be a great app if the children had the option to swipe, or if the next button was not so close to the ads. I can’t leave him to scroll by himself because as soon as I turn away from him, he’s clicked on the ads and it’s very frustrating for me and him as well. Please fix this and we will continue to support your great products, otherwise I will be deleting the app and not recommending it to my friends.

Mixed feelings
We love the app however while trying to choose the right color etc. our daughter gets frustrated because the incorrect answer doesn't black out. It continues to respond "repeats" "try again" or "wrong answer" . Instead of just responding when the correct answer is pushed because her hands accidentally pushes the wrong answer and it becomes annoying.

Inappropriate ads
This game has inappropriate ads and other ads that pop up all the time and don’t allow a child to continue looking at the cards. They force accidental ad clicks and have this ad pop up full screen:

Kids love it but free version ads are difficult for little fingers to not click. Horribly aggravating, but free.
Spelling error
I only got as far as "ballon" instead of "balloon". Not sure if there are more errors. Ads at the bottom means I can't let my 10mth old play for himself.

Daughter fell in love with this app
My daughter loves this app! She always asks to do Flashcards and loves learning new words. It’s a great tool for parents to occupy a toddler and help them learn words. I just put my phone into guided access mode when she was playing so she couldn’t click on the ads.
This used to be a good app a few years ago!
This was an awesome app a few years ago, when my now five-year-old granddaughter who was two to three years old at the time used it, this was great! I could put the phone in guided access mode and they could have it for a long time with no issues. Now even using the guided access this app has ads constantly popping up whether, her now 14 -month-old sibling, hits the button accidentally or not! I was getting frustrated and wondering why she kept hitting the button… So I played it with her for a little while and realized they are popping up without hitting anything! If a phone is in guided access ads should not be popping up! And the ads that are popping up our extremely inappropriate! There is an option to upgrade to an ad free version if you purchase it, however it does not give what the purchase price is and what the other advantages to it would be, if any. Go back to what it was a few years ago! If I could give it a zero rating I would! This is getting deleted off of all of my devices!

Great app until it freezes
I upgraded this app to get rid of all of the advertisements. The only problem now is that it freezes multiple times daily. I don't expect to pay to upgrade something and to have more problems with it after the upgrade.
My 20 month old just loves this app. His vocabulary is now amazing!!

In-app ads lead to PORN! DO NOT DOWNLOAD FOR YOUR KIDS
I used to LOVE this app. I downloaded it for my now 4yo a couple of years ago when he was 2 and his vocabulary exploded from using it! So I redownloaded it recently for my youngest son (2 years old) as he is speech-delayed and I thought it would help him. I was HORRIFIED when the ads that popped up were for porn and "watch live free cam sites". DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS FOR YOUR KIDS.
Pretty great
It's a good app, but please move the advertisements at the bottom of the page away from the "next" and "previous" buttons. My toddler always accidentally hits the ads. It's very frustrating for him.

It's ok. Some of the pictures are pretty lame in that it's not clear what the pic is. Demonstrating. In colour tab brown is off.
Great idea, OK app
The pics aren't the greatest and the woman over articulates all the words which is mildly annoying. But it is a great idea and my kids like it enough.
