Constructive Critics or Reviews
Excellent facility but need constant maintenance and better cleaning supervision specifically Showers /Bathrooms / pool and Jacuzzi to much chlorine that could blind us - please add either shower doors or some drips for some privacy this is unacceptable also water pressures and temperature its not correctly regulated Good luck hopefully we see some improvement asap thanks 😎
App update epic fail
If you are joining this gym for a specific/popular class requiring you to book ahead, beware! The latest update disabled booking feature for many. It is recurring issue.
Need push alerts for facility closures
Great gym facilities, but the app is in desperate need of a push notification feature for facility closures. I have frequently driven to my local club only to find the pool closed for maintenance upon arrival. A simple alert before I leave the house would save members a lot of wasted time and frustration. Please prioritize adding this!
Add Memb. Card to Wallet !!!!!
Make it so we can add our membership cards for check in to our wallet. Nobody wants to unlock their phone and open an app to be able to check in when we get to the gym. Make it so we can add it to our Wallet and just have to double tap our power button on our phone to quickly pull up our Membership Card to scan in.
Missing digital Workbook access
App is generally useful. But even the latest version does not give me access to the digital workbook that my PT asked me to use. The printed workbooks are no longer being printed and stock is running out. Please upgrade the client app!

Can’t see class or pool schedule.
The class schedule view is poorly designed. On iPhone, part of the schedule is obscured, making it impossible to see a full day’s classes without excessive scrolling. Please add a full-week calendar view and improve visibility of class times. Great gym, frustrating app.
Poor Layout
We should be able to customize our opening screen. As for me, I just want my preferred club and classes only. Not having to click around or have to access the menu.

This is a corporate organization that does not care about its members, you are scum to them. They moved to Chicago bought every xsport and then closed every single 24 hour location, so if you work second or third shift too bad, wanna work out late on a weekend, too bad. Why would you do this to so many of your members? Greed. This is not a good company.
Push Notifications Please
Can we get immediate push updates if some amenities are down/closed in a future update, please?
Super unreliable
My fitness club was closed down and I have found a new one. I changed the location but it still pulls up my old club and all of its defunct info. This means I cannot access the club page I want without searching for it each time, and I do not have all the features I would if my club would just update! I want to use the app to the fullest! Even after deleting, redownloading, and logging back in it won’t fix itself. C’mon developers.

Title. They tried “resetting it” still doesn’t work, they basically bug me every time I try to use the gym.
It’s not too bad
This app does have its share fair of glitches and bugs but it’s really accessible, For an example: I can tell when all the classes and what time time their starting which is really useful. Other than the bugs it’s not the worst gym app.
Insufficient for Highend Club
At $40+ a month plus annual fee I’m stunned that your app does not include any integrated excercises/weight training tracking, forcing me to use and pay 3rd party apps for something so basic to you primary business!
Display Check-IN time too
I like this app however the app doesn’t display the check-in time. It only displays the check-in date. That would be really helpful to track my time at the gym

When looking at class schedules on my iPhone or iPad it is nearly impossible to to scroll down to see availability.

Nice gym! They have trainers, enough equipment,a sauna to cool off, sports medicine and classes you can join,and even showers.They also have a pool but it’s been closed for as long as I’ve been there!

Unable to delete
I signed up for LA fitness through my active and fit program. I since cancelled my membership because my location no longer maintains the partnership. Naturally I’d want to delete my account. But the app does not allow me to delete any of my information. When I searched online, many users said the same thing ..why is there no option to delete my account if I no longer have the membership.im not comfortable with a company maintaining my personal information without the option to delete.

It did work once or twice but you can’t reserve classes , otherwise it’s ok but a confusing not well designed

The Birthplace of Fitness App
LA Fitness is the first place of fitness for many people and while the app is usable, but leaves a lot to be desired. Missing check-ins, missing checkpoints for notifying the gym equipment is not usable. Tracking weight through a Smartscale or even the integration of shared connectivity with smart scales and watches would be welcomed improvements.
Interface needs a refresh
It does what it’s intended for (checking in, tracking workouts, viewing classes) but the app really needs to be updated, it looks like it’s still in beta.

Clubs are dirty and staff is unfriendly, unwilling to help members. When I contact customer service about freezing my account, they direct me to a club or to use the option in the app, WHICH THERE IS NONE. I’ve been a member since 2001 and the LA Fitness staff and facilities have just gotten worst. The app sucks! They suck! Don’t walk away, RUN!!!
Court reservations not working
Please fix the court reservation system in the app. It does not populate. We are not able to book courts.
Ok but still needs improvements
The app has come a long way. Some suggestions: - have club hours on the app and keep them updated - have notifications specific to your club eg. If the pool is closed notify us via the app. I shouldn’t have to get to the pool door to find out - Apple Watch compatibility - ability to report cleanliness and maintenance issues - real time capacity estimation so you can decide if you want to go now or later when it’s less busy (like Google estimates)

Cleaning crew at Vaughan (Bathurst and ratherford) location is very friendly and does a great job. Keep up the good work
Forced use / doesn’t work
They try to force you to use this all the time. Won’t give you a keychain barcode. Then you can’t sign in to check anything online without the keychain barcode if you do try. Can’t even use the app.
Check-ins don’t always log
It would be nice if a check-in would be logged even if you’re not connected to wi-fi or data. I scanned my barcode without wifi and it didn’t log the check-in on the calendar.
