Hello I’m Megan, Welcome To Cyanide And Happiness!
I Miss Cyanide & Happiness 2007-2020
new browsing experience sucks
pls give us the option to change it back
Update rollback?
Been a few *days (years) since I’ve checked in on the app, but when was the archive function pulled? I wanted to show someone one of the older ones and I open the app just to find that I can’t go back to a year?
Frustrating to use
This app lets you see the comics, which is great. But if you close your screen or like a comic it will reset back to a more recent comic which is very annoying when trying to read through them. Not worth it at all.
Good comics, maad application
Love C&H, bought this app years ago and it’s been great for checking daily comics and sharing them with my friends. The last year or so it’s routinely stopped updating daily, sometimes going a week or more before new comics are added when they used to be added daily, forcing me to go to the website which defeats the purpose of an app. Please fix?

Thing to add
Y’all should add a comment section!
I love Cyanide & Happiness but…
This app isn’t as good as the previous one. It does pretty much the same thing I but without the news tab. Also it doesn’t tell you which comics you’ve read which the old app did. If you are trying to read all the old comics again it’s much harder to know where you get up to on this app. Perhaps the biggest annoyance here is that the random comic button doesn’t seem to work, you end up getting the same comics come round multiple times which just makes the whole app very frustrating to use. Really needs updating.
New update broke it (kinda)
Been using it for years as I’ve been a fan of these guys forever, but that new update changed the UI a bit and broke the lists. Basically I had a lot of favourite comics I liked and now, even choosing favourites or choosing the year/month filter won’t work. Otherwise, great app to read everything these guys have made!
Seizure mode works
I have epilepsy and tried seizure mod and it really works 👍
Stu.
Terrible compared to the old app. Can’t go back to previous comics easy, there’s no title on the shorts.
Love the comics but please fix the banner
I have followed these comics since 2008 and they’ve scratched that “dumb fun” itch the whole time. There used to be an old C&H app that I liked a lot because it was simple and easy to use. This app is good for the most part, but the home page “Cyanide and Happiness” banner that disappears when you scroll down and re-appears seemingly at random is driving me insane, especially since it covers almost 1/5 of the screen and shifts everything when it appears and disappears. Having a way to either disable this banner or just have it not re-appear after the user scrolls down for the first time would be amazing 🙏
Swipe & rotate please!
My two favourite functions for ultimate ease of use and viewing on a smaller screen.
New update broke favorites
After the app revamp, you can no longer view just the comics you've marked as favorites. You can try, but it won't work.
Review from harsh critic
Sploogtastic
Old app was better
Love C&H but this app has no way to navigate through older comics. You literally have to scroll through the main page day by day if you want to go backwards chronologically. If you wanted to see a comic from 2017 it would take so long and you run the risk of accidentally hitting the top, which will shoot it all the way to the front again. I probably won’t use it until that’s fixed/that feature is added back.
Hilarious
If you love the YouTube videos you’ll love these just as much
Eh
The app could definitely use some Organization and some compilations would be nice
My review
Good, but what happened to all the shorts you had ? Damn they were funny.
wowie
I LOVE C&H
Cannot get past the splash screen
Sucks bad...
Fab but can be improved.
Needs endless scroll and comic bookmarking
Downgrade from Legacy
No video titles, no news feed, no way to see if you’ve read/watched a release, worse navigation through comics and you can’t easily flick through from a random comic. There are no positives from the old app other than a slightly nicer UI...
Stickers
This app used to come with the best stickers for iMessage and all of a sudden they went away. Bring them back !!!!
Guys, what happened?
Hey, what's going on with the app? I haven't been able to catch up on those lovable shorts or my favorite comics recently, and I guess others are having the same problem? I hope you guys can get this fixed soon, so we can experience even more hilarity from you wizards of web comics. Not gonna downvote, because you guys rock nonetheless.
Old app better
Can’t scroll between the pictures. Hate the random pop up add. Old app was more user friendly.
4 stars
I downloaded this app yesterday as I saw the advertisement at the end of some of their videos on YouTube. This app is great I like how the dates are showing when the comics and shorts were released and that one comic is made each day, one short is posted each week (on a Wednesday). The C&H app is sometimes quite slow and it takes about 30 seconds before the next page to load, that’s what makes this a 4 start rating.
Crash
Crash on ios 12.1
New app is horrible
I’ve always been a fan of Cyanide and happiness and the comics are hilarious . However the new app is horrible to use , you can’t just view the comic and slide onto the next one . You now have to physically click the comic and then back out of it and scroll down to the next one . If they fix this issue I’ll give it 5*!
Brings back memories
I love CH and this is just what I was looking for! I’d like to suggest being able to swipe comics once you’ve tapped them and the ability to view in landscape since some of the comics a pretty wide and hard to read.
Not a good app
I just made the switch from the legacy paid version to the new paid version and I am sorry disappointed. I was hoping that I would still be able to look up old comics and browse a month by month view for any of the old comics since the start of C&H. This is sadly not the case. I will not be returning until the old comics make it into this new app.
Revisiting old comics
I love these comics and have used the original app for years, but on the new one I don’t like the fact that you can’t get to older comics without scrolling through all the comics individually (as opposed to being able to view by month in the old app). If they can add this feature to the new app I’m 100% on board but till then I’m using the old one as long as I can.
I love cyanide and happiness but...
since I got the app I can not watch shorts on it because it refuses to let me hear them. Also the app is frozen on March 8. Please fix these problems!!!
One question...
Are you guys planning on adding landscape mode? Because that's how I like reading the comics. Just wondering.
I love C&H
I wish I could tell the comics I have read vs the ones I haven’t. But most of all PLEASE change the order of the comics in the months from the first of the month to the last so I can read them in order
Add a month option like before
This app used to have comics by months now there’s no way for me to get to where I was because I have to continue scrolling down forever to get to the comic I was on and it keeps crashing
Hard to find where I was
I miss being able to scroll back through the comics, it’s just annoying now
The comic section still needs fixing
The comics section isn't showing comics as you go back previous years. Anything past the 2014 isn't showing up. The 2012 section and everything before isn't showing up. Fix the comics section please!
Great app but...
The app is fantastic for getting daily comics but the video section doesn’t work for me for some reason
Get it.
Get it OR ELSE.
Nope.
To be honest this app sucked... That we're trying to get you to be every thing and I could only look at like 5 comics.👎👎 I only did one star because I have to.
Becamed slightly payed :/
This used to be a free app where you could see all the comics and then they even started adding videos. Suddenly i opened it and if i want to see anything earlier than 7 days ago i have to pay :( Kinda lame as i had the impression they were probably already making reasonable money while having fun anyways. I wont delete it but im definitely not paying. I will admit the content is good but its simply not an expense i personnally deem as necessary, especialy with all the subscriptions aready out there for TV, Movies, Music, Transport etc. Love you guys though so still 4 stars.
iOS update now screwed
Like others I've found the last iOS update makes it crash every time. I have uninstalled/reinstalled it and that's not fixed it
Can’t import favourites from previous app!
This new app looks nice and is far more professional, but after using the old app for years I have a collection of hundreds of favourites comics. There doesn’t appear to be a way to bring these into the new app, so I’ll have to go through the thousands of old comics all over again :(((
Worth it every time
Yep
Needs an update urgently
What a great app which no longer works. Crashes immediately on opening, every time. Both Lite and full versions flawed, please fix!!!!
My favourite comic is the white circle
I love C&H, and when I saw the new update I was excited to see that there was an update, as I often had comics just be blank. The new update plus a reinstall seemed to have fixed this for the most part. My only complaint about this version versus the old one is that the new one doesn't store as many comics offline as the old one did. That aside, everything else is great!
I love you guys but...
The app was great before the latest update for the iPhone 4/4s. I now cannot open the app :( please fix this!!! I don't want to miss out on the awesome content you guys do!!!
OK app, great comics
The comics are so much better than the app, which is average at best.
