I have the silver account that’s says I have unlimited transactions now it says have reached my limit and have to pay more don’t agree with this and you cannot find anywhere to get support

Cancelled
I cancelled this a while back ( or so I thought did). They’ve continued to charge my card for the last 6 months at $21 a pop. NONE of their packages are that price. They are $9.99, $11.99, and $14.99. So what is the $21 for. I’m not even sure how to unsubscribe, this app does show up in the subscriptions portion on my iTunes account which is where I cancelled it from the first time. Not happy at all.

I’ve got a major problem with the app. I can’t contact anyone. I don’t know what to do. I’ve been using EasyBooks for around 10 years now and now I can’t get access to it.

No Customer Service Support
Despite writing software related syncing issues, there is no response from the developer despite taking money in advance. If they need to grow then they need to work on improving customer support seriously

Promised updates in 2020 nothing , no promised bank feeds, also promised a windows version in 2020, nothing, cannot import on ios , so need a mac for one operation a month , cancelled and moved to Xero as no new developments or updates since 2020

Latest version doesn’t work on my iPad
I very much enjoy using this product. It has made my business worry free Since as a service center all my work is in the field. I need to be able to operate mobile every day. I enjoy the reports generated especially during tax season. I enjoy the many features of this program. Tracking of all my customers and vendors is great. As a service center I can easily write up invoices and print them or email them immediately to my customers. However in your most recent update something happened in the software and I can no longer use the program on my IPAD. At first I thought I may need to update to a newer IPAD i checked with a friend of mine who operates an electronic store and we checked on a newer IPAD and the same thing happens. The program starts to open and then closes. So now I have gone back to hand writing invoices to my customers. Plus I can’t access any of my customers or vendors while in the field. Can you help with this I really don’t look forward to having to change accounting programs that would be a total nightmare.
Help please
Been unable to issue any invoices or process receipts since latest app update on iPad. Can’t contact support as web page link is not secured and wont connect. What am I supposed to do? Not impressed.
Another issue
I’m having iPhone X issues. Tried reissuing an invoice via WhatsApp. It will not let me. It defaults to email only. Very annoying as my 82yr old client doesn’t use a computer. So now it’s snail mail extending the time it will take to get paid. I have the latest iOS installed. Pity this app doesn’t do tax either. That would be very helpful. It does do vat, I’m not vat registered. So no help at all.
Easy to use
Easy to use software with the best customer service back up ever. When we had a problem they did there best to sort. Highly recommended app with 5 star back up.
Do not trust
I was prompted to transfer my data from easy invoice then received an email saying something had gone wrong with the migration. I contacted customer support who responded almost immediately but said since I don’t have a paid subscription I am not eligible for support… so you lost my data and won’t help me retrieve it and gave me to advanced notice or time to back it up first. Do not trust this company.
Very impressive
I used QuickBooks for many years. (35years) I much prefer easy books as it runs much smoother on IOS devices and is very quick to react to inputting data. I think QuickBooks should change there name to slow books as in an IOS environment they look pathetic by comparison.
Typical invoice app wanting more subscriptions.
Downloaded this app and paid the yearly subscription only for it to change.I still had Easy Books Lite but this keeps freezing so clearly wanting to upgrade again 🙄
The latest update doesn’t work with iOS multi-screen
Easy Books has lots of great simple functions. I don’t use invoicing etc, just basic double entry bookkeeping. But, it has a couple of flaws so it seems expensive and unprofessional. One flaw is that when you open it in iOS next to another app, sometimes it comes up a blank grey screen so you have to go out, and start over. This is a real pain when you’re trying to focus on keeping your data straight. The other issue is that Online Sync has also become buggy; giving frequent warnings about devices being out of sync even though I’m only using one device for entry, and the other device is always available for auto backups. My feeling is that everything is in sync, but the warning comes up anyway. I am starting to think it’s too expensive for these flaws, and am looking to shop around.

An Intuitive application to use. I’ve been using it for a few years now with few problems.
Final Review
This app was Easybooks where you owned the data and it was sold as such. It moved to the subscription model, leaving those of us who bought into it originally with the option either to pay out over £100 per year for what we already bought before, or to use the “Lite” version that was hobbled. Subscriptions are necessary for developers to live and to increase or maintain versions of software going forward. That said, the charges levied for this are extortionate for functionality that those of us who bought into the app originally had already paid for. For that reason alone it should be given an arm’s length assessment. The nail in the coffin for us was the move to cloud data. Accounts have to be available for a minimum of 7 years. All our data is our responsibility, and this aspect alone is not defensible in the event that the app gets pulled or changed yet again. The trust element has gone, and if you are responsible for the data, you need to bear in mind that we trusted this platform once before and they let us down. Badly.
Mostly user-friendly with Voiceover
I am totally blind. This app works very nicely, and I love the ease of use. There are some issues: 1. The search bar isn’t compatible with Voiceover, the screen reader on the iPhone; 2. You still have to paste in the email address in mail when sending an invoice or receipt; 3. The “total” isn’t always shown in icreating a new invoice. 4. There are still unlabled buttons, especially when doing reconciliation. But overall, it’s a very goog app!
Help
Having used easy books for many years and found it amazing it’s all gone wrong !! And I can not find anywhere to get the help to unravel the problem . It started with the update for making vat digital . I need a contact with the developer for help ASAP please.

They take your purchases off you even if you’ve purchased unlimited. My understanding of unlimited transactions is that they should be unlimited

Have left one Star off as it needs that ability to scan receipts directly into the accounts like receipt-bank does and I’d love it a lot more.
You should of left easy books
You should of left easy books alone and created easy books pro... instead of screwing us over with easy books lite. I can’t transfer all of my data over to lite... my online syncing is good through June and It won’t let me sync all of the data over...
Looks Good. But it’s a pay per month service not free.
It’s misleading when you market it for free. It’s a subscription service. I’m sure it’s a good thing if you pay. Don’t know as I want a free service like it’s advertised. So I am giving 50:50 or slightly more as I am polite.

Great app for small business
I’d be lost without this app... does need tweaking in certain areas but seems to be improving all the time.. problems.. Invoice text could be set out better. Unpaid invoices should be shaded to identify instead of a microscopic tick. When amending a sale or estimate, if you rotate phone it deletes what you’ve wrote!!! Very annoying! Other than that... very good.

... Only because of high subscription pricing. That’s the only drawback according to me. Otherwise, I would have given at least 4****. However, this financial app deserves full marks. I sincerely hope that developers reconsider and get India specific lower subscription pricing. I have been using this App with unlimited transaction since long. Suddenly these people converted this App to subscription model. And now, Dec 24, 2016 onwards after upgrading the App, I can not see any of my accounts as is. These people are forcibly asking us to pay as you go subscription model which I will not do because I can't afford it now. All my accounts and all transactions I created are gone forever! I will have to delete this App now and find something else! Those who are like me, please don't upgrade App if you want to save your work!! I had given 3star rating before. But now it's only 1star. --------- I have been using this App for my personal financial accounting purpose. This App is really good double entry book keeping system. You can mould it as per your requirement. I am however missing Portfolio /investment integration. Addition of basic inventory system for business users is nice try. But little more work for a small manufacturing firm is necessary. For example, Raw materials, Work in progress and finished products are alright. But addition of production register to record date, quantity and items manufactured - thus effecting inventory - will be additional bonus.

I am a individual how are keeping record of my income and expenses and this accounting program is excellent. When i had problems with my year end roll, i was assisted on a Sunday. I am impressed.
Super Bookkeeping tool!
I use my MAC at home and my iPhone when I am traveling, or with my customer. Has everything I need, and outstanding for my MTD submission. Dark mode is much easier on the eye!

I first purchased this app about 7/8 years ago when it was new, I haven’t used it for a couple of years, now after paying for add one I have to pay a monthly subscription! One time purchase for full use...now you get a lite version NOT FULL USE!! I think it’s distrusting how financially you help a business when they are young and when they get bigger they turn around and shaft you!!! Nice style people!!!

Disgraceful after years of use.
I have been locked out of my account due to easy books wanting people to pay for a subscription on a monthly basis to continue usage of the App! I paid for easy books when it first came out, I PAID for unlimited use, and EXTRA money for invoicing. I have just tried to get into the account and they have locked me out, I cannot enter any more entries, leaving me and my accounts in limbo unless I subject to blackmail and pay the subscription! I tried to speak to to their customer service who informed me that my subscription had expired in 2017 and they would only reply to people with subscriptions. I replied that I was using Easy Books for the past few years, and it hasn't expired as it was unlimited, they refused to answer my questions.

Not enough future...
We can not add the products with barcode numbers, there is no scan future, no customer service connection, no customer service phone number or no online chat for quick and important questions. They have just ready questions and answers.
Works great with my Rental Business
Quicken was my accounting software since it came out many years ago. Use it for my home and rental business. I used an older version for years until Quicken force you to upgrade. So I did and then my nightmare started. I started experiencing bugs on each new software release. I lost transactions and my accounts got out of balance. I had a mess at the end of the year to clean up. I had enough. A friend told me about Easy books, how easy it was to use. And it is easy, neat and simple. Love how it works, your Account Receivable is merge in with the General ledger accounting software providing real easy way to control your customers and accounting together. I use it with my rental business. Works great.

Feel cheated after almost 6years of feedback
Keep away, not worth dealing with these dishonest people. I have bought into this software about 6years ago when it was very basic and over the years it's has been developed well WITH lot of feedback and errors checking from their loyal paid users, now today they locked me out, I have to fork out either a subscription or use it as read only! This was not something I was made aware of during my onetime purchases. I feel let down by the company and the developer. Yes they need to make money or find different ways, the ethical thing to do is give existing user their continued use of their purchase and yes charge new users the new subscription etc. I don't normally write bad reviews, but unfortunately, dishonesty is something should not be tolerated. There should be no place for retrospectively introducing new charges. The accounting package itself is good but do you want to commit to buying and start using it then find the goal post has been moved again and again and again!!? Don't wast your time buying into this and learning this unless you are willing to be messed around in future.(ps this trend toward online connectivity is ok but also what happens if software can't connect at end of day and you want input your data, software lock you out! Defeats the quick n easy objectives!!)
No Journal Vouchers Report.
It's a good App but needs to improve it's reporting. For example a journal voucher report would be beneficial to analyze specific transactions.
