What people like
- Prices are very competitive with Amazon
- Fast delivery and good packaging
- Great selection for PC parts
What they complain about
- App is incredibly slow and laggy
- Search function often fails or shows blank screen
- Frequent crashes and loading issues
Amazing app
There’s one thing I’d like if yall could optimize it better I’ve been having issues where it’s stocked loading or it doesn’t load at all and it’s not my internet cuz I could use any other app or anything bunch smoother it’s also not my phone I have an almost recent iPhone so it’s not the problem it’s also over heating my phone a bit. Anyways other than that I am in love with the app super cool and amazing
Unbelievably bad UX
The app is atrocious, impossibly slow and unresponsive, which is made worse by the fact that it didn’t used to be. There was an update not too long ago that, to my knowlege, changed nothing except the performance, which has been utterly tanked. As a marketplace, Newegg is great. The app is trash.
great app, but a few issues needs fixing.
so i am noticing stuttering issues and the search function not working properly. when ever i try to search, it just shows blank white screen and it will not search anything, it would just… not work. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling and even tried turning off and on my phone and it still occurs. the app was doing great until… well, that happened. other apps on my phone are working great besides this app. i don’t know what or how i cause this to happen in the first place… i was just looking for something and this just happened. the issue is so bad that it basically makes the app unusable right now, hopefully the next update can fix this issue. P.S. this issue happened last night (July 29th). i am writing this the next day (July 30th).
Annoying Refresh
Whenever I have to switch to another app such as Safari to read more specs or reviews, this app will refresh and my search results (or the item I was looking at) are lost. I don’t understand why it does this. This app decides that what I’m searching for is not important. My business must not be important to them.
Love this app BUT
This app loads on my phone super slow whether I’m connected to WiFi or data the website on my phone loads faster than the app for some reason
A BUILDERS GO TO SUPPLIER
It’s my go to when I’m building something!
Lag
This app is an optimization nightmare. Was it tested before rolling out? It eats up more resources than AAA game titles.
Great app not competitive
Compared to other large online retailers Newegg's prices are rather high.
Frustrating Shipping Policies
The “free shipping” bait and switch once Hawaii and Alaska get involved is frustrating. Terrible shipping fees, make choosing Newegg over other retailers difficult.
Sales
Most of the time the sales are good but the half of the time the price is raised by 33% and then put on sale for 33% to trick customers.
Awesome
This app helped me with my set up and the products are amazing, also I love the free shipping.
Worst delivery service ever
Said will be delivered in 3 days did not get delivered until more then 2 weeks with 3 failed delivery attempts last delivery attempt they just threw it where it can be stolen lol 😂🤦♂️ AMAZON would never 🤣if I can give zero I would ☠️
Good
Nice
Useless for outside USA ?
It use to work before this application for residents of Canada. Now its say, they will no longer ship to Canada and asked me to use their Canadian website site instead. Why on earth, the application doesn’t switch to Newegg.ca for me, if from the settings I selected my country as Canada ? Please fix, this major issue! Thanks!
App doesn’t work reliably
The app crashes my audio when I’m listening to other apps while browsing and more than half the time the search box doesn’t work. It doesn’t populate the drop down list and doesn’t search
Newegg parts
Great place for do it yourself
fuvk u
es una mierda
A very worthy electronics App
I’ve had this app on my phone for a little over a year and separately from Amazon. It’s my most used electronics purchasing app, I mainly use it for my computer set up.
App doesn’t even open
App was not bad and okay at most till it won’t even open
Unlimited options
Search function isn’t that great. I search for a bathroom exhaust fan with a heater and Newegg can’t find any products matching that description. I don’t want a light. I don’t want Bluetooth speakers in my bathroom exhaust fan. I just want an exhaust fan with a heater. I expected to be offered at least 30.
Great Store
I’ve ordered quite a few parts from Newegg. Including my MSI 5090 which I bought for I think 2400 after tax. Everything has arrived in a timely manner. Efficient and customer support is very responsive.
Slow and laggy
The app is slow and laggy, very hard to log out or to verify that you are logged out.
4.5
Great app ease of use could be improved a tad
Account Cancelled
Hello i made an account recently while yes i did find a deal and yes the format did help alot im quite unsure how 2 days after my order was in my account was blocked and all $1400 of my order cancelled while im unsure if this happens often i am sure it wasnt a pleasent experience for me as a first time pc buyer and to be then told that it would be 3 days before i can log back in and order? The Pc i wanted could be gone and i was delayed for what reason exactly . I am unpleased with what happened and neweggs solution to the issue. Please fix problems like these
Pretty decent
They’re making an offer function is literally pointless. It never works for me. Pretty lame. I still end up buying other parts on Amazon because they’re just cheap cheaper.
Exceptional pc quality
Bought a pc from here and came in timely manner and really loved how everything was packaged highly recommended
Going to review it here
but your website, upon looking at an item a video below auto plays and bursts your eardrums. You guys replaced your talented programmers as well with slopped AI code?
Good but
Good and the best for PC components but the delivery sometimes make you sick
Can’t use affirm in Canada
Excited newegg partner with affirm. Trying to build a gaming pc and no option to pay with affirm

Good app
It’s a great app I love it however recently I won’t load when I go into the app and I must switch to browser mode each time so if the devs could fix the issue that’d be nice!
Super Laggy and Crashes
Maybe it’s just my phone, but the app sucks. Every time I use it, I have to open and close it multiple times before it actually works like any other app on my phone. I also love a good deal, so I try to get the Shellshocker or 25-Year Celebration deals. It takes so long for the app to load that I always miss out on them. I don’t have this issue with any other app. It’s truly disappointing, because I like Newegg. I just hate the app.
The best
Its the best app i used ever Easy to search You will find all u want Speed delivery I love it If they just make the price lower as others
tgg
gggh
The shiping
Too expansive
Surf, find, order, Newegg backs their transactions.
One of the 3 best sites for computers software & hardware.
Surprise 3rd party vendor prices
It’s truly unfortunate, to go somewhere you once trusted and not get the same type of service. I used their PC builder, presumed it would give me their market pricing and it ended up screwing me, hard. If I had just manually selected everything I bought, I’d have saved hundreds by not getting surprise upcharges on everything. As my PC just died I can’t wait around for a bunch of return processes so I’m stuck with the randomly more expensive than usual parts. I’ll never be buying from them again, and now I know why the bank kept recognizing them as a sketchy purchase.

Awesome
They compete really heavily with Amazon’s pricing, I would definitely check it out
Wtf is wrong with your app?
You should be embarrassed running a store for tech minded folk and having an app that can’t search its own products. Fire the guy that’s supposed to maintain it.

BOMB.COM
I never leave reviews but this company really is the best. Never had any issues and I own a lot of stuff I shouldn’t because their deals are actually amazing! 10/10 do recommend.
I'll spend my money elsewhere
The latest update (as of June 2026) made the app horrendously slow and laggy. *App is still garbage, I'll spend my money at places that can manage website performance in 2026, deleting.
