Why is this so expensive , i think i used this and it was free once upon a time
Can’t sign up with out paying
Won’t let me signup without paying and there’s no other option to at least look around. So if your looking for a third party app for your social scheduling, look else were. It’s a shame they don’t offer at least a look around to see how everything works. They just list 3 specifics that you get with a subscription. With AI on the rise, whats stopping me from prompting AI to tell me the best times to post. I can find that out easy for free. Why are we paying for that in a subscription lol. I just think they are missing out on huge opportunity’s to pivot in the right direction. For that I deleted it.
Keyboard Issues Since Update
Love this app but your latest update has rendered the IOS keyboard non operational. Please fix it because for such a useful app it’s ruining the experience.
Great except for very flawed GPT
Hootsuite is exceptional in its overall mission to collaborate and automate social media accounts for one user. There are many robust tools that make it valuable. However, it has a significant flaw in its AI function where the command itself says it's going to optimize your descriptions for each account, but returns only results for the first one. This is not a rare occurrence; it is a bug engineered into the code that happens over, and over, and over. The irony is the extra steps necessary to fix the problem negate much of the streamlining the platform is built for.
Update the app so we can send content for approval without having to go into a desktop!!!
Having to go to a computer to schedule content for approval by management is such a hassle when I’m on location filming. I don’t understand why that can’t be implemented into the app. It would be one dropdown option. Other than this one thing, I find the app pretty user friendly and and the UI is pleasant enough
Very good
I started using this as soon as I heard about it from my teacher, really good and easy to use. When I had an issue I contacted their support page and they responded to me so quickly. And my issue was resolved in 1 day. Very happy with overall service and how easy this app is to use.

Please add tumblr aswell to the social media apps since I use it frequently in joint with my other social media (insta and Facebook) to post. It would help a lot and keep all my posts organised
Keeps freezing mid-post
Great app but recently keeps freezing mid post and i can’t use it!!
We loved it for years, but…
We have used HooteSuite as an organization for years and loved it, but is a a daily aggravation now. It drops a newer stream, BlueSky, several times a day and it needs to be reconnected. Therefore many posts have to reloaded by hand because the app did not function. This is true, whether using the desktop version or the mobile version.
Specially knobbled for recalcitrant iPhone 5c users
February 2020 update requires minimum IOS 11. You _will_ upgrade, even if they have to force you. Resistance is futile.
Bug, New Update
Theres a bug in the app where its not refreshing posts. Please fix it.
Needs hashtag manager
Adding hashtags are great for Instagram but less relevant to Facebook and you can't use as many on Twitter. It should offer a setting option on compose to allow you to manage how many of the hashtags you use to each social network. Other than that it's a good tool.
Errors beyond…
Hootsuite has one advantage in that it allows larger videos to prepost. However, there are a whirlwind on nonstop tech issues that is making the app obsolete.
Confused Why Now I Need A Paid Plan
I think HootSuite is a Good Interface but I feel it’s now losing its credibility because of the lack of access to non paid users. I’m a firm believer that “If It Ain’t Broke Don’t Fix It. I don’t see what HootSuite is gaining from that change I see it being detrimental to the growth

I use the professional version. It’s fantastic for business, clean and easy to navigate, scheduling posts has never been so easy.
Sign in is ridiculous
Why is it that I can log in just fine on a browser but when using this app I get an invalid google authenticator code. I have never used the google authenticator. Just make this as simple as the web version.

Update issues
Latest update introduced a frustrating bug - of the five social platforms that should show in the planner only two (LinkedIn and X) actually show.
No scheduling to TikTok yet?! C’mon guys
I need a scheduler that can post to all my sosh meeds and not having TikTok drops the ball IMO

Needs a refresh
Web browser version of Hootsuite works great — ON a macbook, or a mac desktop. But try using it from the browser on your ipad or iphone? No dice. Also — this app store version of Hootsuite is basically unusable on every Apple device. For such an expensive subscription & platform, and the fact that it has been this way FOR YEARS, is unacceptable. Please update & optimize your software & apps! I want to stay a customer.
Unreliable
Although the web gui is easy enough to use you do have to check the post goes out. Support is poor in so much as it takes a day to respond with “we are sorry....” New post app doesn’t have Bold character feature you have to do this yourself No iPad app
Great App, sometimes LinkedIn disconnects
Don’t know why but sometimes the connection/credentials with LinkedIn crash

Great website and service, absolutely awful app. Freezes up on every single use. Every. Single. Use. Almost impossible to use ita that bad.
The app is amazing. But....
This app makes your life way easier if you are a social media marketer. But can you please work on minor fixes like removing social media accounts in the free paying state?
Incorrectly locked account
Every time I try to come onto the app, it is saying my account is locked when it is not - works great on my PC but is automatically logging me out on the app and the customer service team have not helped at all. Very frustrating and is making posting a story impossible - feel that my money is now being wasted.
# sign is hard to find in new keyboard update
This app was great until the last update. They used to always have a keyboard with an easily accessible # sign, making it so much easier to add lots hashtags to my posts. The newest update has a different keyboard which makes it hard to find the # sign, and now it takes me over 15 min just to do one Instagram post with 30 hashtags. Please bring back the old keyboard.

App Unusable Right Now
The app freezes while trying to put a post together, rendering it completely useless at the moment. The app is the worst part of Hootsuite.

EDIT: according to other reviewers, they’re charging through the nose for it, which drops me 2 or 3 start off my review. I was in the middle of downloading it, but if that’s the case, I’ll look elsewhere. Can’t afford £xx every month just to help out a charity. :( ——- I used to hugely rate this, especially since Tweetdeck went down the park, and I’m in the process of sorting out new Twitter gadgetry with the hope of partially taking over the stream for a protest group I work for, and every indication I’ve seen so far tonight was that Hootsuite was now a minimum of £29/month. If that’s not the case, then great. It’s a brilliant bit of software.
Instagram Feed Option
I wish there was an option to see the Instagram feed so I didn’t have to use a separate app to see what my feed would look like.

Nice features, photo posting ability limited. Can only post one photo to Instagram. Not sure if that’s limitation set my Instagram or Hootsuite but its average.

It works wonders, when it’ll let you sign in, after this last update the app booted me out of my account, and the sign in with email button doesn’t work, freezes when you press log in 🤷♀️ idk if it’s just me
Needs a separation feature
I love 99% of everything in this app, It helps me keep engaged and more up to date with my audience, Would love a feature that allowed me to choose not to show @ marks in Twitter and not Facebook ect.

Extremely Accessible and Usable
That’s it, it does what it aims to do. In fact it’s lighter and more maneuverable on the iphone than on a desktop and that’s a great thing! Keep up the good work! If you can make your desktop ap as streamlined as your phone app, you’ll really be on a winner.
Version 5 and still no dark mode
Prompted to update to a brand new version with a new look that looks exactly the same as the previous, with a new icon, and still no dark mode almost a year after iOS 13 was released.
Good app but...
Hootsuite is great for a lot of things but it is missing some big features. Not being able to post carousel pictures on Instagram is a HUGE downfall and for our company really limits its usefulness. I end up posting to Facebook through Hootsuite and then having to go into Instagram to make the post manually. This defeats the main purpose of Hootsuite for me, which is being able to schedule posts. I really wish you could save your hashtags have it automatically add them to your posts. The desktop version is much cleaner than the mobile app, but I find myself on the mobile app more as I am usually on the go. Overall I do think it has helped us manage our social media platforms and I am really hopeful that they will keep introducing new features.
Easy To Use And Great Functionalities
Get this if your lazy or just busy.
Locks up, then crashes - consistently
Using it to publish social media posts for work… send one post and it’s fine. Try to compose another and Hootsuite locks up and then crashes. Happens 100% of the time. Latest version of the app, iPhone 17 Pro Max (fully updated). Restarting the phone Durant help.
So Far So Good
I’ve been using the app for a year and I like the convenience and the system of setting up my posts. I can work off my phone effortlessly.
Problems
Boosting posts doesn’t work, is not available in the app and does not show you how to access your credit for the pro version
Wish I could comment on my images instead
I wish I could comment my hashtags instead of putting them in the main post.
