Every single time I want to open this app it needs an UPDATE. Why does it need to be updated so often !?!

Great card service and great promotion
Locked out
They apparently have a policy that locks you out even when you’ve paid off your card. I respect the fact it’s my fault for various reasons as to why I’m in this predicament, but I worked hard and paid off my balance in full. I think it’s ridiculous for people to pay off their card to get out of debt or to improve their score and then be unable to continue that improvement by being locked out of their account. The person I spoke with was very polite but said they check periodically and decide if or when they’ll release the card to be used…but no timeframe. It would be great for them to Discover helping people that work hard at repairing their credit…ya know…to get back into debt to continue the cycle.
Exceeded my expectations
The app is actually a lot better than I thought. Still a lot of web views inside the app, not a native app, but it’s decent when compared with other big financial corps.
Interest?
Due to Extremely High Interest Rate I Felt Was Not Only excessive but Predatory. I’m closing my account!

I’m constantly being locked out of my account I’ve used face recognition which is impossible to get the password wrong. Other than that it’s a good app.

The text sizes are so uneven that it’s very difficult to use. Lack of graphics make it very boring as well.

They made this switch without completing it entirely. I have had a very frustrating experience with lousy customer service. I will be cancelling my discover card after more than 20 years. Very sad.
Service response is world standard
It is one of the rare company in USA I have met up to date that can give a reasonable quick response to customer’s questions. Though such response speed is common in Japan or China, but in USA it is very impressive. And what is more important, they can fix all problem I ever had.
I mean when it works it’s fine
App is super buggy, setup was a pain. Customer support was nice though and eventually it did work.

Terrible for travel
In Paris and they canceled on me. If I didn’t have an extra Visa card to buy a charger adapter for my dead phone then I would have been cooked

I like this app a lot. Works great, provides lots of account info, and let's me pay down my bil on the fly whenever I've got a few extra bucks.
Capital One changes
I’ve always loved Discover’s app! Very convenient, so easy to navigate! But I don’t like the changes that Capitol One is making! Why take away conveniences from customers? The latest being the Money Market changes! I will hate to leave Discover because their customer service is outstanding. I can always tell the difference between a Capital One trained person and a Discover person. Capital one isn’t friendly, just all business. No offer of extra help, no “have a good day” at the end. Discover people always made me feel good at the end because I thought with all the mean things and insults our politicians say, and their followers, there are still nice people in the world.
Privileges
You remove my transfer privileges… after so many years… I am not happy with discover. And when I called they don’t tell the truth… capital one changes …. I thought I will continue having my privileges

Formed us we would not have to change our app once the move was made. They also said we did not have to change our card once the move was made. I just got an email saying that I have to download the new app. And now I have to choose my new card.
