What people like
- Converts many currencies and units.
- Very easy to use quickly.
- Accurate exchange rates usually work.
What they complain about
- Ads interrupt you constantly.
- Premium price feels too high.
- App crashes or restarts often.
So easy
I love use it many years ago. Easy and fast
Too many ads
Nice app but waaaay too many long ads.
Like using it
It’s handy converting English and Metric. But I can’t tell how accurate the currency conversions are.
Madagascar
No conversion for Madagascar
Too many ads
The app itself is handy but it has way too many ads and it can be frustrating to wait for them to finish
Good app
My go to app for currency conversions when booking or traveling in foreign countries! Always quick easy and reliable. Better than manually having to search through browser each time.
Too many adds
I can’t even use this app because it just sends you to adds
Great overall
So helpful and use all the time!! just sometimes it doesn’t see my subscription and wants me to pay again which is annoying
Subscriptions?!
This app used to be free and now they want a subscription? Deleting this for Units Plus which appears to be free still. Not every kind of app warrants a subscription
I love this app.. but…
The app is super easy, lots of conversions, great info .. but the ads are to long and to remove them cost $100 .. that’s to much .. we need ad free at a reasonable price
Helpful app
I’ve been using the Globe Converter app for years. It’s very helpful and easy to use. I don’t enjoy the adds.
Stop asking me to get the full version
You either have a free version or you don’t. Stop harassing me and interrupting me while I use the app.
Convenient
Has all the conversions needed! ….so far!
Why?
I bought the full function app and it keeps promoting me to buy again.
Excellent, used for travel
The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because you have to delete prior entry character by character rather than all at once. When you’re dealing with currencies such as Indonesian Rupiah in the millions, this becomes annoying & time consuming when you’re in a store trying to convert.
COSTA RICAN VERSUS AMERICAN DOLLAR
Think the foreign exchange converter works very well and I will be updating it as I have Property in Costa Rica
Don’t Understand
I have used the free version for years and decided to upgrade to the paid (paid for one time “lifetime” payment) version and not only did I not get any new features, I still get asked if I want to upgrade every time I open the app. Incredibly frustrating and assume I should just delete and write off the payment.
Perfect
Good
Constant Ads, can’t use normally
Been using this Converter for 10years, today I had to delete it! Whenever you have a click, an ad will pop up…. It affects normal usage. So have to change to another converter.
Handy. Easy to use
Good app. Handy. Easy to use
Useful tool for sure!
Very easy to use and quite quick and always accurate
Not providing rewards after AD
Once a good app but now a scam forcing you to watch ads to receive additional app reward option but never provides rewards. SCAM app
Clearing fields is awkward
Need a bettor refresh button
Add comes in one second after you open app. Terrible plan!
Terrible
slow update
the new update is bit slow even if closed and reopened already
Great easy App
Love this app. So simple to use, always updated for correct currency 😎
This app has become horrible
This app used to be a pleasure to use. Recently it has changed from useful to torture. I could accept the requests to purchase the full app. But now, there is a button to open ads right next to the “x” to clear the input numbers so that if your finger is inaccurate by a fraction of a millimeter, you are trapped in an inescapable cascade of ads that doesn’t respond to your attempts to close. It is maddening.
Good job
This app really helps
Too many ads
Can’t use the tool without spending way too much time clearing unwanted ads from the screen.
Please put back the "AC" button.
Is a mistake the AC button was removed. Long press to cancel is very troublesome.
Great go to app for unit conversion. I use it all the time.
I use this app every time I travel overseas. It has been a great tool for me.
Nothing but non stop ads
This app used to be ok but it’s just a non stop ad fest now. Don’t use
IOS12
Not yet updated for IOS12??
Adds
Way to many adds for what I’m trying achieve.
New update
Have you ever heard the expression "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", I think that applies here
GREAT APP
I USE THIS APP ALL THE TIME. IT IS INCREDIBLY GOOD AND USEFUL!
Ads took over, make it impossible
It’s gotten so that I cannot use this app anymore. It was one of my very favorites that I recommended to friends. I did not need it enough to go beyond the free version. But now I get long video ads every time I turn around and it’s just easier to go right to the Internet for what I need. Too bad.
Missing widget option
If this had a widget it would easily be the best conversion app. Without that quick option, though, I'm using "Unit Converter" for now because it has one.
It’s nice. No different to what’s free online
I rated it 2, not because I don’t like the app. It’s more so they want a lifetime fee of $160, which is sad to remove what is 1 advert banner at the bottom. Why would I pay this to remove a little ad when I could use another app or an online free google conversion. It’s more preying on the vulnerable. Edit: Developer is saying, no one is forcing me to pay. I understand, I’m pointing out if the cost to purchase was reasonable, more people would consider buying. Remember, it’s a simple conversions product, which many on the AppStore are free to use with a very small one time purchase.
Closed up itself ?
The apps keep closing by itself ? Please fix it, was asked to purchased again yesterday. Stupid me & I paid to download again and Still Not Working. I felt cheated, fix it ASAP and refund.
Using this app for years
Excellent Global currency converter and any measurements!
Ditching This App
After using the free version of this app for a couple of years, I’m just so completely done with it. Every time you open the app you’re hit with a screen to pay for the app. Super annoying and a total time waster. I understand the reason developers need to charge money, but the payment options are just ludicrous. $4 a month???? It should be $4 one time. $35 a year?? $100 for lifetime??? To get rid of the stupid annoying Get Full Version screen??? No. Sorry. No effin way. I’m deleting it and replacing it with an app that doesn’t do this. I can’t even understand why I waited so long to do this. Good riddance. 👎🏻👋🏻 Reply to Developer: Since it’s been free for me for years, you definitely don’t need more than $4 for it period. There are plenty of apps out there that do so much more than this one does (and it can’t even get the exchange rate right) that cost $10 one time. Definitely didn’t “miss” by ditching this app or calculating costs.
After updating, keep shutting down when you try to use it
👎🏻
Update fail
Used this app on a daily basis and loved it until your recent update. Interface was changed and it slow to react. Have started using other converter apps as a result.
Good - but not for UK units
Unless it is hidden the support for UK measures is very limited.
So good!
They have every option I could possibly think of!
Used to be good
Terrible ads with landlines you accidentally step on. This app used to be good but now very problematic!
good
👍
The app restarts abruptly
The appt restarts abruptly after I clicked currency converter.
Good
Wadiya eh ji... I like it. :)
