Useful
Been very useful for many projects
Update: Not Easy as pie!
With the new update everything I wrote before this new update is not true the UI is complicated and cumbersome. it’s not worth using anymore as It just got silly. As soon as I post this I’m gonna delete it from my phone. Remember the bottom is how it used to be; it’s exactly the opposite now. I have not found anything negative about this app. I rarely write app reviews, but this app is an exception. Everything works perfectly, the UI is intuitive and easy, and the ads have been surprisingly unobtrusive. NOT
Great, but..
When trying to understand power consumption, the App lacks MegaWatt/TeraWatt options. It would be great if these could be added. Please!!
Forces to sell personal info
Won’t let me use app unless I allow it to sell my personal info. No thanks!
Missing measurements
It’s missing hectometres and decametre in length and area
Productivity
Works as it should. EZ!
Consent for tracking required
New consent for ads instructions does not work. The privacy settings does not list this app to allow tracking
Update problems
I was having trouble with the latest update. They worked diligently to resolve the issue.
Excellent APP UNTIL RECENTLY
It was an excellent app until it recently decided that it absolutely had to sell our data and it would not function unless you would subscribe to it.
HELP! Update too confusing
I used to love this app. Needed to use again and it was so confusing could not figure it out. Need detailed user instructions
I found the one!
This app has an awesome layout, easy to navigate at my fingertips instantly. Look no further.
No longer useful
Launching the app now brings up ad screen forcing acceptance of ads and tracking Time to remove this app
Useful tool
I use this at work to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius all the time. Or if I’m just curious about something it’s very handy.
Requires Internet
There have been several times I had no Internet connection and needed to convert some values. This app will not let you do anything without an Internet connection—and it will tell you that. I simply deleted the app and found one of those that works offline.
Very Useful App
As a technician I use it all the time. No unwanted adds. I would recommend this app.
Fast
I only care about one conversion since I immigrated. This seems like the best tool to get fast conversions without so much fluff in the way.
Another handy app ruined
Before 2025, this app had no adds, except for the small banner at the bottom that you could end by clicking it off. Now, the app requires you to consent to have ads, and if you don’t want ads, you must subscribe for a $9.99 annual fee. The app now locks with the consent/ad option overlay making it useless unless you subscribe to the fee-based no ad option. Seems like forcible consent. Deleting this app and downloading a different one.
Big Love But…..
The inability to enter negative values in the temperature is a big issue. Please fix! It’s cold outside but we don’t know how cold.
Currency not working on iPad
The app works flawlessly on my iPhone. On my iPad I can’t download currencies. I get the error “failed to save currencies”. I have reinstalled numerous time and still the same error
Ok
Dose the job
Excellent app
Highly recommended this app if you’re looking for a comprehensive solution to conversion of just about every unit you’ll ever deal with. App is very stable and incredibly easy to configure and use.
Google strokes again
Used to be a free app for simple conversions. Now you have to allow tracking and pay to use. Deleted.
Ok so far…
I like the looks and the way it works. But I would like more categories, especially one for cooking.
Won’t update currency
Tried many times. Had to delete.
Remove ads please
Shame there is not an option to pay so that ads can be removed.
Mr
This app is extremely helpful in getting proper conversions in a snap!
Forced to select “Allow App to Track”
I haven’t launched the app in a week or so and when I do there is instructions to click a consent button, I guess I’m consenting to viewing ads. So I click the consent button. Next there are instructions regarding the option for allowing or not allowing the app to track you. These instructions tell me I have to click allow the app to track otherwise I won’t be able to use the app. The instructions go on to say I can go back in and change it after. I’m not sure if that’s immediately or if I have to wait, it doesn’t specify. I’ve never had any of the other app force me to click the allow to track option. Even if I can go in and change the option immediately that doesn’t sit right with me. Maybe I’m being paranoid, but I’m deleting this app. Maybe specify why you’re forcing people to select the track option.
Free and it works well!
The app works well and I’m glad to have it. The lay out is clunky and outdated.
Why!!
I just updated to the new conversion. Why did you change it? The old version was easier to use than this. I deleted it and installed a different app.
They don’t show the ads in the screen shots
This is a good app and I’d be happy to pay for it if the ads were axed. When I chose the app the screen shots didn’t show the ads at the bottom.
Great App
I use this a lot. It has a lot more features than I need but, everything I need. I highly recommend this app.
Subscribe to allow ads?
Hang that idea up.
CJ
Purely an extremely useful sensible App with no irritation All that is required in all that is intended more than very good I have always thought excellent, from the minute I first used it , Congrats are in order. CJ
Additional a third step
Would be fantastic if you could use it to calculate grams to ounces to dollars in the gold marketplace the updated market prices and it was more flexible or easier to use… needs a convert now button.
Currency Converter Not Updating
I really like this app’s design and usability, but I recently noticed that the currency converter isn’t automatically updating. This is a big deal for people who travel as currency rates fluctuate daily. I’m in Japan and the yen hit 150 to the dollar. My app still shows 136.24. Am I missing something here? Having to manually update the rate every time I use it makes this function unusable. Edit: The App Developer has notified me that they’ve fixed the currency conversion rate update problem. It note shows the correct rate. I’ve updated my rating accordingly. It’s gone from good to great. Thanks!
App no longer works
I used to use this app as my go to conversion calculator, however, after last update I can no longer get past the Google Ad and GDPr advisory page no matter how many times I update the Consent tab or update Settings
Argent taux change
Peut-être indiqué les endroits pour les taux change varie d’une place à l’autre
Needs QC
Can’t get back to the Home Screen once you are in one of the calculator modes. Have to close out the app and reopen it to see your conversion options again…
Lots of conversions
I love that this app has so many useful conversions. Great for traveling and even baking!
Broken
I opened the app today and got the page to select whether or not to allow collection of my data. Doesn’t say what data will be collected. I have tried every iteration and it is STUCK on that black page. Guess I’ll find a different app to use. Very disappointed. I had been very pleased with the app previously. Sorry you are not worth $10 every year. Maybe a one time purchase but not every year
Remove ads
Happy to pay for it if you could remove ads
Not functional
The new layout is a setback from the original and they forgot “the KISS principle”
Very convenient conversion calculator
For Engineers, Architects and Scientist, but also for the common Joe who want to know exactly what one mile is to a kilometer.
Broken
Can’t get past the opening screen when it asks you to subscribe.
Simple
A well thought out app with a friendly interface. With time and luck there will be a paid, advert free, version.
