Zo ongeveer de slechtst presterende app op mijn iPhone. Al zelfscannend door de Appie is het bijna een wetmatigheid dat de zaak wel ergens hapert. Onbedoeld effect is dat je er het personeel eindeloos mee bezig houdt, waardoor de beoogde besparing volledig verdampt.
Search in the English version is not working!
Take a simple example and search for Starbucks, only 2 products show up while AH definitely carries more than 2 of Starbucks products.

Constantly getting rid of good products
Why are you always doing away with perfectly good products that I buy regularly. Yet there are about 200 different kinds of rijstwafels??? No more strong roots but a million rijstwafels. Make it make sense. Variety is a good thing! Uhhhhghhh

Absolutely love the app! The only thing i’d recommend is being able to add your bonus card to your wallet. As someone who travels a lot between the Netherlands and Belgium it would help a lot if you could use one app in both countries! Overall, great app and super organized!

Ik heb net een nieuwe iPad gekocht en wilde de AH-app ook daarop gebruiken, maar wat een teleurstelling!!! Vooral de favoriete lijstjes zijn echt dramatisch vormgegeven. De interface ziet er op de iPad niet uit alsof deze ervoor gemaakt is. Alles is uit verhouding, onoverzichtelijk en ontzettend onhandig in gebruik. Het voelt alsof de iPhone-app simpelweg is uitvergroot zonder enige aandacht voor iPad-gebruikers. Best jammer, want de AH-app is verder hartstikke handig

This app is great except that you cannot change the language to English. It makes it difficult to get an AH card because I don’t understand Dutch and can’t see what I’m clicking

I liked the app because I could access my store receipts, but no longer. It says there is a technical issue.

Do not order delivery from AH
I ordered delivery after many times of doing so. The delivery person did not come, but said they did . I was home the whole time in front of the bell. They called me from an anonymous number which my phone automatically blocked as spam. AH then charged me 50euros for the missed delivery and refuses to waive it

Wish English Was An Option
It would be useful if this app was available in English. Generally, I do not have an issue, but sometimes Google Translate doesn’t help find what I need. Additionally, the app doesn’t show more similar/popular items under the item you’re viewing. I believe if they added a list of items under what you’re looking at, more customers would be inclined to shop more. Actual issues I have with the app: 1. I originally created an account in August. For some reason, I was logged out and my email was no longer found in the server? I had to create another account in September, which was troublesome and confusing. 2. I also didn’t have this issue previously, but now I cannot find delivery times two weeks in advance. Are more people now using grocery deliveries due to COVID this winter? Or is this a system issue? It takes a while to load the delivery schedule, but only to find no availabilities... The AH store at my place is small and can’t supply much of my needs, so I need to get those items from the app. Now, I do not have access to it and may have to go for a different online grocery store.

Useful but lack of English is an issue
The app is good (generally) for orders, but it’s a bit frustrating that there’s no option to change the language to English. Would be helpful if you could also have an option to return crates.

Language Barriers
It would really very kind of Albert Heijn, the king of supermarkets in NL to please add english as a language in their app.
Selfscan is top, maar ik moet elke keer bonuskaart opnieuw invoeren.
De app vergeet telkens mijn bonuskaart te onthouden.
English version
It’s super strange that in a multicultural country like Netherlands this app doesn’t offer an English version (at least to use the app, I’m not talking about the products). And it’s more strange see comments here from 2 years ago asking that and they saying that would be provided.

Terrible user interface for ordering
We’ve decided to pay for a year of free delivery (€150) which includes “personalized delivery moments”. Well, that essentially means you can order once a week, which is not flexible enough with a family. However the real terrible part is that the app doesn’t allow you to differentiate a grocery list from an order. Once you decide to order to look at the delivery options, it’s very easy to lose your ordering spot, and have to wait 2 weeks for the next moment. The only way to get back to your grocery list and its filtering system is to “cancel your order”, which by itself is dumb enough, but then without any communication drops the delivery moment, rendering your €150 cost useless. The other weird part of this app is that their services are still designed to be used by one person. For families this is really annoying; why can’t my spouse login under the same account as another user, and add or remove grocery items? Why is “sharing grocery list” limited to sending a text/email, instead of inviting additional users? Albert Heijn is clearly behind on providing a modern experience and in fact its app completely ruined a very expensive annual subscription for us.

Items are not categorised so if you’re a non Dutch speaker it will take you ages to do your shopping. Have a look at Ocado in the UK... that’s an easy app to use

As the largest supermarket in the Netherlands, Albert Heijn should take the lead in creating more user friendly and inclusive APP. English version would definitely benefit a larger population!

App has False Pricing
This has happened to me multiple times and that is why I have decided ronkende a review. I believe this app is false advertising prices. I need something and find that it is is “on sale” at Albert Heijn. I make a purchase, specifically wanting this item but ordering other things to meet the minimum order requirement. Then upon delivery, I see that the discounted item isn’t there. When I contact Albert Heijn customer service, they told me that the low price item is “out of stock” and therefore can’t be delivered. Yet, it is still able to be put into my cart for a second order at the low price to be delivered later this week. I asked if they could remove the minimum order requirement so I can reorder the original item that I wanted in my first order and they will not! So in order to get the sale priced item, I need to place another 70€ order (meanwhile I already stocked up in my last 70€ order..... not getting the item that I needed). This exact situation has happened to me three times now. It is false advertising and a scam.

No problems with opening times or products. It is not clear how to determine if the local filial has a specific product. The route planner should be removed until it can find more than 30 percent of the items.

Waardeloos
Deze app is gebruiksonvriendelijk en werkt bijna nooit. Bijv op dit moment kan ik geen bestelling plaatsen. Er wordt me in een loop gevraagd om in te loggen. Als ik inlog, wordt het me weer gevraagd. Verder zou ik graag alle biologische producten op een rij hebben per productgroep, bijv "fruit" en niet eindeloos te hoeven doorklikken totdat ik een biologisch product kan selecteren via een nutteloze filter, bijv pas bij "kiwi".
