Best quick game
Best quick game but one player discovered a way to cheat and get 999 points for every move and relocate to any spot on the map. No response when I emailed about this issue.
Computer bot never misses
If you play against a bot on an easy mode, it still seems to get a perfect direct hit every time. Definitely feels dumb playing against a computer that doesn’t make mistakes. I’m uninstalling
Enjoyable, however
I've been enjoying this game for years, and with some of the newer weapons, I am scratching my head because it seems like when I play single player, my opponent gets favorable treatment. The obstruction, bouncy blocker I find to be the worst. I noticed my opponent has no problem, shifting a few degrees and clearing the obstruction when I use it against them, yet when I drastically shift the angle of attack on my turn, I always am deflected when it's played against me. Not that big of a deal, but it does feel like it's not a balanced game in this silly little detail. Obviously, I'm a stickler for details.
Could be better.
This game is very fun but when people take over a minute to do their next volley gets old. Been multiple times where i wait for my opponent to do their turn for over 5minutes. There has to be a timer to do your next attack in my opinion it should be 15 seconds to prepare and aim. My other issue is the weapons. There should be a way to see what a certain weapon does without going into practice mode. Like if i click on a weapon there should be a video where it shows the best and most effective way to use the weapon. Also there is to many weapons that dont do anything but waste a turn. Like the weapon that only gives you 10,5 and 0 degrees like what is that good for other than wasting a weapon slot and a turn.

I’ve been playing this game since computer lab in middle school sometime in the very early 2000s. Absolutely love this game and share with everybody that I can so I can have 1on1 matches. So glad it’s still available.

It’s the best artillery game on iOS, I just wish it was at least four player, it’s only one versus one. We need multiplayer online, teams or free-for-all! it wouldn’t hurt to update the graphics, though too, they are looking a little dated now
Frustrating issues in a simple premise
Suckered by nostalgia, I’ve spent more time with this game than it deserves. The biggest problem is that what you see isn’t always accurate. This is most critical when try to shoot through obstructions but creeps up elsewhere. Other issues include poor weapon value assignments, poor randomizations from the weapon draw to the arena generation, and odd weapon value logic. Weapon draw luck has too much impact. Small issue, too many of the weapons are actually the same thing with different optics.
Overpriced
Game can't be better but after paying 500rs still 150 weapons unlocked and then for whole 400 weapons to be unlocked have to pay 100rs per pack that would take like 2000rs. Not worth it.
Have never found such a great game until now
Pocket tank is literally the BEST game, I play it everyday and best of all there’s no adds!
Non-Functional?
Is anyone else having this issue where the app never loads. It just hangs on the loading screen… tried going through support on their website without any response for a week.
Fun, but with flaws
Weapons like Lava Gold, which net 400+ pts, are a bit annoying to play against for online play. There should be an option to block players that use only these types of moves. There should also be a 24hr time limit to take your turn.

Nostalgia
This game is pure nostalgia for me because I remember playing this in the 90’s on pc called scorched earth and have been searching for it ever since and to see a version of it here, it was an instant download for me!!!!! Kudos to the creators of this game.
Can’t open the game
I bought the pack of additional weapons and now the game won’t open. Rebooted my ipad, nothing, deleted and re installed the game and it still doesn’t open.

AI needs fixed
Setting the game to easiest mode and having the AI hit you directly on the first shot then 90% of the with the occasional complete flub is ridiculous. Game is no fun with the AI is so powerful
To dark
The screen at mid sky is so dark you can’t see stuff like tar or such above you. It cause issues where you harm your score by hitting things. You can’t adjust it. All you can adjust is your screen on your phone and that hardly works. The game is fun and kills times.

A few minor changes needed
They’re absolutely needs to be a time limit for online games. It is crazy that someone can just leave a game and it’ll sit there on their turn until you forfeit!? Why do I lose the game because he left? I don’t get it… It’s a good thing, however that this suggestion is not implemented yet. That is to say if you were forced to forfeit games that people abandoned, it would hurt your ranking in online ranked gameplay. Oh my goodness that is something that would be wonderful. At least a simple scoreboard of your wins and losses should be reasonable, right? The third thing which I think would be incredibly important if ranked gameplay was added is a balancing of the weapons. Why in the world does one weapon do three damage and another one do 300? That is crazy! Now I know that utility type weapons are not really meant to use cause a lot of damage but the discrepancy is just ridiculous. No weapon should do more than 50 damage and 50 damage should be the reward for a powerful weapon and a good shot. Most weapons should be restricted to less than 10 damage that will heavily balance the Plainfield and make the game more competitive and enjoyable… Which will result in fewer people abandoning games.
Online Quitters Loophole
If an opponent fails to return volley (continue) for more than 48 hours they should automatically forfeit. Players who are losing use this loophole to avoid taking a loss and matches constantly go unfinished. I have so many games sitting active waiting for a player who gave up days, weeks, months ago. Also this game is pay to win. Super lame. People are actually spending their money on a free game so they can have the advantage of better using weapons. It ruins the game for those smart enough not to waste their money.
Okay at best
Nothing crazy unique and becomes repetitive quickly. They have "free" weapon bundles that are only free if you buy the deluxe edition. They dont run ads it seems which I think is amazing but Id rather have ads to get access to all or some weapons than have them advertised as free but not be.

Way too hard
Whenever you try to aim it’s just so weird and annoying like why add a power button if you have an angle button and even on easy mode the bots are still way too hard

The A.I. needs to be fixed
I haven’t tried any difficulty lower than 5 because I’m not a bum, but so far the difficulties in 1 player mean nothing, the A.I will always hit you perfectly on point. Winning games is almost impossible and the only way you can win is your a master at choosing weapons and the A.I chooses trash
I want it to be more like the old school Tank Wars game
It’s fun but what bothers me is when a tank gets hit by anything and it falls it keeps the cannon angle. So it’s so easy once you have the angle to keep pummeling each other. The game is more about what weapon you use when. I really want it to be more like the old school windows game “Tank Wars”

Great game. Free to play the basic game. Awesome to play with friends. Not a game from some big corporation. Just fun and NO ADS!
Game is down and does not authenticate. Last update corrupted the login ability- on day 4

Change background from day to night option.
I give it a 4 star at best as Pocket tanks definitely has potential and is such a fun game to play against friends. Things I’d like too see in the future would be the option to change background from night to day as the background being blacked out makes it hard to see some weapons that blend into the background. Multiplayer needs more work done as it should be automatically updated while in game without having to go back to the lobby to refresh when trying to see a players move thought this is more for Android users, than it is for iOS users. Can we please get more than four maps, valley, cliffs, hill, and flats are fun, but we need some new maps like sand, dirt, gravel, mud and snow mountains too. I’d also like too see Pocket Tanks become a part of PlayStation with and cross play cross platform multiplayer.

I have loved this game a lot, playing it since I was a child but I want to experience more but the deluxe version is hella expensive for me

A+ Classic game
I love this game. I remember my dad showing me this game maybe in 2001 when I was 3 and have been playing it ever since and in 28 now, still playing it with my dad and family that grew up with it.
Online is a mess
Bots and Lan is fun but im not sure what the developer was thinking with online. Besides the 60 second lag between each turn, it shouldve been a weapon draft like the other modes instead both players get a completely random lineup and neither player knows what they both have so using/holding counters is useless

first of all thank you to create this game for mobile. I used to play this game in my childhood, that time there was some few amount of weapons and i thought mobile version gives bew weapons but there are fewer weapons are new. I thought You need to add more weapons...
Pricing needs improvement
Nostalgia on this game is really high. But weapon packs are very expensive.
Online play is buggy
The offline is good as I remembered but the online play is very buggy. When i enter lobby my friend cannot enter it when we both enter what action i take is not reflected in realtime over all good game but wont recommend for multiplayer

You can have tons of fun choosing mini weapons and there’s good weapons bad weapons super cool stuff not just the weapons but fun game you can do tons of stuff change the color of you
Too buggy
Literally this games been out for 20 years and the scaling is off and the weapons glitchy. It puts opponents on top of my plasma orb and costed me the match. Bombs away sometimes just works the same as jump jets costing you lots of points.

Pocket tank Deluxe is not worth it
Even if you purchased deluxe it won't unlock all the weapons you will have to pay more to buy other packs. This is unfair. I love this game it brings back my childhood memories but I am bored of the free version and I don't want to spend so much money on buying deluxe so I am uninstalling this app. Thank you.

Pls improve multiplayer make it more real time sometimes i have to go back and then re enter to take my turn
