Family sharing
I just spent 2 hours on the phone with Apple to try to resolve the issue but was told it was the developers choice to not allow Apple family sharing. That being said I’m appalled. My son is 6. This isn’t a game or even a toy, this is HIS communication to those around him. If it’s about the money, sick.
Self taught
Learning this program is hard to do with no instruction. But I’m slowly figuring it out. Not having this for all platforms is not fair to people that cannot afford apple products. It has helped my non verbal son a lot thanx for that. As im learning how to set this up im liking it more and kore
Latest Update Broke Layout
The latest update altered the layout subtly but significantly enough to misalign the buttons of my custom keyguard. It should be understood that users of this app may be using it with custom keyguard and that even small layout changes with respect to button and toolbar padding can be costly/detrimental to these users.
Adding a new button
This is the extremely helpful and wonderful informative app I ever saw

Best program for non verbal
I have this program for both my kids and it’s amazing. Very customizable and very user friendly. I would give it a 10.

Recently purchased the app on March 22 and now the app is on sale. Wish I had known it would be on sale in one week. 😞

Sooo useful
We use this app with both our kids. Our daughter is 8 and has a global delay, meaning she is cognitively about 1 & 1/2 years old. Our 5 year old son is moderate on the Autism Spectrum. They were both very resistant to using it, but are now both seeing the benefits. It’s so customizable. Sometimes we use the pictures in the database and other times we add our own. Our daughter has started making one word comments about what she is watching or playing with, opening the app on her own to do so. So good for giving them choices between very different activities. I love that we can use our nephew or niece’s voice for things that the app has no way of knowing how to pronounce.
Lending A Voice to the Voiceless
I am a behavioural therapist with 20 years of community inclusion experience. Proloquo2go has given me the tools I need to support my members. They can now comfort parents, express their wants and needs, connect with others and navigate their communities with confidence! Thank you for making such a versatile app. It makes the abstract, seem concrete and now I can use the routines of my members to their advantage. I strongly recommend using this APP.
Complicated
It’s been a year. The app doesn’t perform for the severely autistic. Far too complicated. It needs to have a setting where there’s three or four options per page. Difficult to tailor. I asked for a refund. Denied. So I’m out however many 100s of dollars this was (I try not to think about it). If you have a typical child that needs some help, this may be perfect. If you have a non-verbal severely autistic child, save your money instead.
Problems with newest update
I have needed to reinstall this app three times since the last update. There are some great features in the new version but it is very frustrating becuse it is crashing frequently.
Very useful
My 6yo son has non-verbal autism and we are thankful this app was introduced by his SLP. Now, he can communicate his needs using the app. He constructs sentences and is getting better each day. We are now working on greetings as he is really good at using this for requests. We didn't know that he has a wide vocabulary until he started using Proloquo2Go. We can't imagine not having this as this has become his voice now. We also appreciate that the people in the icons have other skin tones. I recommend this for non-verbal kids or adults who have the dexterity to use a tablet computer as this helps a lot.
Not loud enough
I purchased this application for my son who has Down syndrome and is non-verbal. He already has an AAC (Vantage Lite), but I wanted something with more portability that can easily fit in his or my pocket for outings. The program itself is great for the most part, however the sound from the iPod is far too low to really make it useful. I find it ironic that this program is to help people "talk" who can't, yet it's virtualy impossible for a person to hear what is being said!

5 Stars
I give this app 5 stars. Expensive, but well worth it! My 4 year old non verbal daughter uses it, and within a few days, she was asking for food on her own. She had never been able to ask for food or drinks before this app. She now asks for many different things, and also is able to say “yes” or “no”. It’s been amazing.
