Speed
I’ve been using this app for a number years. When you live and work in remote areas internet connectivity is crucial. This app helps me verify I have the internet speed I need to get my work done before I even start. It does the job every time!!!
Pick Another Tester
This speed test was the most inaccurate measuring tool I’ve ever come across to date. We are talking completely off. And that’s during the times it DECIDED to work.👎🏽😒
It’s pretty good, but…
My only real complaint about this app would be the fact it doesn’t separate the different frequencies in the history. I would like to have a running history of each of my routers and their respective frequencies. Instead they are all shown in the same history report. Otherwise, it is okay and seems to be fairly accurate against my provider.
Adds now interfering with app.
Was good before. Not so much recently.
Simple
As presented
Excellent
This works for me and I use it regularly. Highly recommend.
Disappointing speeds
0.6 mps OH, WOOPEE just what I do NOT need. What has gone wrong? The speed test usually shows a low of 10.00 mps and that is awful. How low can it get?
Easy to use and works well!
A straight forward app which does exactly what it is supposed to. Perfect!
To Manet bugs
I appreciate the new app, but unfortunately it doesn’t work well, you can’t change the server( I’m stuck on Vienna in Austria witch has a 800 millisecond lack. Fixit otherwise I will have to change app after 4 years.
Crashes
Used to be very good but now crashes as it prepares to test upload speed. Installed latest update in hope of solving problem but it continues
The Best
There is this Speed Test app, and then there are the others. This one is the best!
Results aren’t accurate
Results can’t be trusted which defeats the entire purpose of the app.
Test that did not work
Works
Needs a location index
On first operating it opens in the USA so I would suggest that the writers have a opening search index so you can peg in your local location and get your local speed also a selector for your local provider with a distance
Good
Good
Best speed testing app
I’ve used this app for several years and it is the most reliable and accurate Speed Test both for wired and wireless.
Mauvais technicien
Apres passage technicien qui a trafiqué dans notre boite ext. La vitesse est passé de 15 à 5 et la télé est complètement morcelée non regardable
Works
Works well
Disappointing update
I liked the previous version of this app a lot more than this "completely redesigned" version. The new interface is overly simplistic and stark. The old interface was far more attractive. Also, the app didn't work at all after the update until I changed the default server. (This may have been a server issue that is unrelated to the update, but an app update that doesn't work after the update is suspicious.)
Nice app
Nice app
Helpful Speedtest
This is a very helpful tool to see if your cable or satellite provider is giving you the speed they’ve promised you. It works very well and I count on it when needed.
I switched from Skymesh to Aussie Broadband!!
Whilst their speeds are an improvement from 1.3Mbps, I’m still only getting around 10-12mbps down in the evening on a 100 /40 plan - pretty ordinary IMO. Might be moving on pretty quickly! Ray
Very simple, completely easy
Quick and easy, but the upload results are not correct.
Bad
No ability to choose alternative servers. I recommend the speedtest.net iPhone application instead. More accurate results.
Privacy matters
Even though the GUI is nice, and the app itself is alright, i resent the fact the app does not give the option to only use my location when i open the app... Its reason for me to hold off for now.
Works excellent
I tried quite a few they make money off of the advertisement so you do Speed Test you do an advertisement quite frankly it’s the only time you really need to use it. It’s not like you do it every single day so it’s perfect. Give them some money for the advertisement it works great.
Limited server locations
Can't speed test to my closest server, this app doesn't fit everyone.
Settings
It seems to be very easy to use and is very user-friendly. There is also the problem. There are no settings from what I can find to set my location. I have used this for several months and always thought it knew my location but then I noticed that it said my location was 11 miles from New Jersey. I am in Chicago and would like to see a way to set my location so it is more accurate. Every time I start it I have to scroll through and pick Chicago to see what my speed is to the city since I live in the suburbs. Picking more than one server is a feature you must have because even though I can get a very fast connection to the city, when I pick other cities across the country, especially going west, the speed will slow down as it hits bottlenecks at other network points which are good to know.
Schlechter Stil
Begeisterung
Hat beim Vergleich von 6 Internet Möglichkeiten den 4. Platz gemacht.

Great app
Does just what you want. Easy
36,4 MB
Wozu benötigt ein Speedtest fast 37 MB?
Essential tool
Need this to keep my internet provider honest, their tool overstates speeds
Doesn't always work
Worked once now only checks upload. If I check results history it says I need to do a speed test even though I just did one, seems broken.
Even old people can use this
As a retired person some technology can be daunting, this app is not. Straight forward and easy to use, unless you get to adverts and up grade options, then watch out!
Tolles Programm!
@schlechter Stil: Was willste denn? Die gleiche App gibts als Speedtest X Pro für 75 Cent ohne Werbung. Deine Bewertung haste Dir selbst gegeben. Ich finde, die Werbung stört kaum und bleibe deshalb bei der gratis-Version. Tolles Programm!
!
Works great and is free
25 my download takes 15 s
So simple math would less than 1 1/2 mb per second . It tells me it running at 18 mb/ second Bull !!!!! This is a hoax !!!!!
Easy and effective
Very easy to use; great for checking my wifi to discuss issues with broadband supplier
Speed test
Excellent service
Original version was better
The previous app (Speedtest X HD) was abandoned and replaced with this one, which is worse, because in this version, if you don't have location services on, you cannot do a speed test. It won't let you. You can't even choose any servers because they don't appear on the map if you don't have location services turned on. What if I have wifi and would like to choose a server of my choice without location services choosing my location for me? I could do that in the previous version, why can't I do that here? Disappointed.
Speeds
Great app, to be able to show BT there connection to me is rubbish! Thanks
