If only i had this during O levels...
I'd be banned for cheating. I bought the full version. The app is really good for us mainly-English speakers. The search function is fantastic; search english or even the han yu pinyin without accenting and it'll give you a list of words, along with all the different meanings some words have if they share the same characters. I also tried the OCR feature on some subtitles in shows. It's decent, though if the word and background doesn't have enough contrast it may not detect anything. I like that it keeps a copy of the photo you took for the OCR. Making flashcards takes a bit of experimenting, but it works well and you can filter out groups you don't want to include in your revision. Very very solid 5 stars, very worth the money. This honestly makes re-learning Chinese easier.

There is no option for writing the chinese characters in addition to pinyin
No built-in Chinese dictionary and sentence examples.
I do like the way you can use this translator and know it’s simple meaning in English and two other languages. But the problem is, there is no Chinese language to allow (a) certain Chinese word[s] to know what it exactly means in Chinese nor there are any sentences that show how the word is used. I would like to request the addition of this feature so that people from China can also understand what a word actually means in Chinese (I’m not from China). Thank you for reading this (if you have) and try to implement this into the free dictionary. (Replying is optional but I’d appreciate it.)

Hot keys for trainer don't work. Show solution hot key always brings me to search tab ===== I like the history of searches and color coding. I would request to be able to increase the font size of the history as it can be a bit too small. The font size reader doesn't affect the search Also to be able to change the pink color highlight as it can contrast with the color coding and be difficult to read

Iphone 15Pro -iso 26.1. The pinyin for chinese word is not correctly pronounced . I have written to feedback this issue but not update.

Hot keys for trainer could be more convenient
Solid app. Hot keys for trainer could be more convenient. Option + Shift + keys isn’t as convenient as just entering Space bar, R, W for the trainer mode. Please change the hot key configuration
So hard to use after update
Used to love this app so much; used it almost on a daily basis but after the latest update, the app reacts too slowly when I type a pinyin such that it ends up missing the 1st letter. And I had to delete and retype again slowly. Makes me so frustrated especially when I need to check a word quickly. Due to that, I hardly use it anymore.

Not very good translating English into Chinese; missing a lot of words. Should include pronunciation of the words too.

This app is regularly updated, but perhaps that is the problem? It works great on my tablet, but on the iphone you type in pinyin and choose characters and then want to zoom in and see each character or show someone even older than me full screen and the app glitches. Go back to KISS method. Keep It Simple Stupid, because now I hesitate to pull the phone out knowing it wont do what it once did.

I like the old version better! This new version of this app is nothing from other apps. I used to like it very much coz it’s easy & simple to use but now I can’t find a word easily & I can’t customize the fonts either. It’s too small for me , I can’t see clearly! You have already made me upset! 🤬

The app is great and easy to use but when I use the camera feature, sometimes the words that it recognises is not the same as the one in the picture so it can improve on that area but apart from that , the app is great!

You should include a feature that can label characters saying whether it is a noun, adjective, verb etc.
