What people like
- Word-for-word translation is very helpful
- Clear fonts make reading easy
- Great variety of audio reciters
What they complain about
- Bookmarks stop working after some time
- App crashes when trying to restore purchase
- Audio reciters lag or fail to play
- Some Arabic verses show wrong diacritics
word-for-word translation
I love that this app offers word-for-word translations. I hadn’t seen this feature anywhere else, and I absolutely love it! The Tajweed color code is also good. A must- this app has the best reciters.
Bookmarks don't work
IQURAN is the best Quran app but a week ago or so the Bookmarks started failing. It only works when it's launched, otherwise it won't work. You have to relaunch it
Auto scroll
The App doesn’t highlight the verse that’s being recited. Thought it was due to having an old device but I now have a new one its the same.whats the point in highlighting or scrolling if its not on the right verse? I have been using this app for years. I preferred it when it was free. Once I had to pay it started saving the last Surah and you can’t even click and continue do I don’t know it does that. I also have it set to auto scroll to the next verse but I can’t see where I am anymore. Verse isn’t even highlighted. This is frustrating as I listen on the go but when I’m still I want to read it. If I delete to refresh I will be asked to pay again.
User Interface needs work
The app needs a lot of work, it is hard to go back from certain pages and recently the bookmark button has stopped working
App crashes
If I try to bookmark a verse, it works if the app was recently launched. After a period of time with the app open, bookmarking fails. The workaround is to then restart the app. Hopefully this issue can be fixed.
Nice
Mashallah
Glitches with tajweed colours
The colour coding on the tajweed has all greyed out
quick touch to move to the next
All applications adopt one of two methods, either scrolling to read or turning pages. The iquran pro application was the only one special in this part by quick touch to move to the next one. We want to restore the touch feature to move to the next one. This was the best feature in the application over all other similar applications. Please return the quick touch feature to go to the next verse.
Not convenient
The sura are not followed by another sura when finished and the when marked it does not keep the mark
Can’t change the reciter
I have been using this app for quite long time but recently something happened I can’t change the reciter When I touch the name of the reciter on top all the reciter name used to come on there but it dose appear any more for this reason I have stopped using this now Please fix that problem
Great
I really enjoy using this app. I can read and also listen to the Quran without any interruptions. The fonts not Arabic and English are clear and easy to read. May Allah reward the developers and also the young man who introduced me to the app.
Not working
It’s crashing. Not opening and taking back to the home page.
Please update
Have used this app for a while, overall I am happy with it but now it seems like there has not been made any updates in comparison to other apps. For example, some of the audio reciters lagging. Also, considering the fact that I have purchased pro version you could upload some new murattal reciters. So to conclude, please update the app by reuploading audio and please add new reciters.
Translation Doesn’t play
I tried all the settings translations don’t play. I am using iPhone and Siri doesn’t support narrative mode and I couldn’t find how to play translation. Although there’s a setting to turn on play translations only but it doesn’t work.
Problems with literal Translation of Quranic Verses
The literal English translation resulted in mind misinterpretations of the verses

Ayat 24 missing from Surah Nisa
Ayah 24 is missing from Surah Nisa (4:24). Translation is however provided for the Ayah 24. Kindly make sure it gets added & correct the entire quran.
Stop within verse
Need to be able to stop within a verse for easy memorization. Need to be able to select any particular space within a verse for memorization especially the long ones.
Harakat misspelled?
قَآئِمًۢا بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۚ In al imran verse 18 that part above in this apps show only tanween instead there should be ‘small mim’ on it? happened in the next verse 19 too. Please respond n rectify cuz im afraid to read quran on this apps now thinking others could be wrong too. This apps helps me a lot until now.

Unable to Restore Purchase & No Developer Support Option
I upgraded to iQuran Pro years ago, but now the app still asks me to restore my purchase. Every time I try to restore, the app force closes and the process fails. It’s quite frustrating that there’s no way to contact the developer or get any support within the app. I hope this issue is fixed soon, as iQuran has been a valuable app for me over the years.
Juz by Juz not Surah by Surah (Pro subscriber)
Excellent app BUT as i use the app for reading in Ramadhan, i am finding it very difficult to understand why there is no Juz by Juz reading option in the same way that there is Surah by Surah. (Ie, The app STOPS at the end of a Surah so you are aware youve reached the end, but this does NOT happen at the end of a JUZ, which helps in reading in Ramadhan. Again very grateful for the creators of the app. But this 1 missing feature is a MASSIVE reason why it's not my go to app for Quran reading. Ps i emailed the team quite a few years ago and don't recall a response. Again, the efforts are appreciated but this 1 feature is making me use alternatives, such as shame.
Review
I’ve been using this App for several years and it was just the best! I recently updated it to the new version and suddenly everything changed. Sometimes it will play and sometimes it won’t. Please they should work on it.
French
I paid for the pro version to get translation in French but still in 3 languages
Small help
Could you please verify why the highlighting fix tool does not work properly when I use it in a second time? I am using latest iOS. Thanks.
About the authenticity
All these while I was so in love with this app but recently I found that there is a mistake in surah maeda Ayat 94

Review for the app
It is a shame that the app would withhold some knowledge in order to push a user to upgrade. In fact, it appears to me to be something which would displease Allah and so I’m going to look for a better designed one, God willing.
About your app
This is a good app but it should be even better thank you
Great app
I am enjoying this application- thank you all!
Nothing of it is spiritual
It contains radicalism, very violent, e.g. sura 9:5
جزاكم الله خير
Dropped it to 4 stars. It will be perfect if you can add Dark mode.
Love the old version not this one.
I have been using iQuran since 2014. Love the old version very very much. With the easy navigation to find Surah. As for translation the search engine is reliable and good. This new version just not as good as the old version, the layout took too much space. And for the translation search engine , OMG NOT RELIABLE AT ALL. The search engine always mixed up with multiple languages and usually could not find enough ayah containing the word that I am searching. Let say the Quran has 25 ayahs containing word ‘HELP’. It only shows 3 ayahs in English translation and hundreds of ayahs from other languages that does not containing word ‘HELP’. I wish the developer to ditch this new version and return to the old version. PLEASE, PLEASE remove this new version and restore the old one. Or please fix the search engine, I need the search engine to work well, as the old one.
Kinda
It is good but I wish you can play it more than one time I purchased pro and it still did not let me replay it but thank you
App crashes— now now issue

Unable to restore purchase
I’m unable to restore my purchase and when I click on the it, the app crashes. Can you please help?
Please add option to switch to Indo-Pak Script
It’s a nice free app with good features. I’ve been using it for many years. My go to so far. But can I request that you add the option to switch to Indo-Pak Script please? Because sometimes the Arabic script in the app is hard to read as I grew up with the more simple Indo-Pak script. JazakAllah if you can. Thank you.
Bad update
I didn’t like the new updates the program keeps stopping I deleted it twice and redownloaded it I don’t want to delete it the most beautiful app I have since more than 4 years 😩
Hi
Super amazing, many options on voices, you should try this
Love iQuran
Thank you for your work
Verses not moving
It is stuck doesn’t read verses by verses
Great app
Really enjoying using this app. One suggestion is that can the tags be colour coded to different colours and not all of the to be yellow. This is would make it helpful to distinguish what the tags are when you are going through the surah’s. Looking forward for this change. May Allah bless yours work in progressing this.
Love it, but can’t restore my purchase
I’ve been using iQuran for years and have absolutely loved it. I have always used the PRO version. However, since the newest update was brought in, I am unable to restore my purchase of the PRO version as the app crashes every time I do so. I can therefore only use the free version or pay again.
