App Improvement
This is just a suggestion but it would help so much if you could add a note to account transfers! My wife’s memory is better than mine and she’ll ask me “what was this transfer for?” And I see the transfer on the statement and I can’t remember for the life of me what it was for. This is already something you can do on Zelle, Cash App, and Venmo to recall exactly what you were paying for, but I just need this so I can keep track of where I’m moving money around throughout my accounts. Hope this gets seen by someone that can make that happen.
don't like the look of new app
I do not like how the new app looks I don't like the green text and the Font changed it's really tripping me out. i like the bold numbers better
Please optimize the app size
the app takes up 467.1 MB of storage, which is simply not acceptable for a banking app. Most of the same functionality can be handled through a website without using nearly half a gigabyte of space. Please optimize the app size.

the worst bank
It’s useless—the worst bank there is. I went to deposit 2,000 at the ATM; it gave back 200 and credited only 100 to my account, keeping the other 1,700, and they refused to give it back. I filed a claim, but they said it would take a long time to process. I needed the money for my car and food, but I couldn't pay because that bank has the worst system. Don't use it; you're better off joining Chase—it's the best.
Chinese language
Great app! However, it would be extremely helpful for Asian-American customers and international users if you could add Traditional and Simplified Chinese language support to the app interface. Thank you!

Not a very good banking app
Having to get a text at every login is inconvenient and it’s way too hard to look at individual transactions with having to look at the statement. Chase app is 10 times better.

Zero AI
This is a large company with a lot of money. Why can’t I make AI queries and get meaningful results that detail my spending outliners. Erica can’t help. It’s like this app is stuck in 2016.
Deals Section Needs Help
Many of my activated offers (activated from the Deals section of the app) don’t appear in my Activated Offers section even after I’ve purchased the item. Additionally, the long delays in displaying pending items and honoring the deal payment make me suspect that I’m not receiving credit for many of my purchases. Please fix.

I have several financial apps ranging from credit union to retirement accounts. This app is by far the least user-friendly. It is annoying to have to search to pay my bill to avoid missing my due date.

Broken password field
What the **** kind of idiotic app doesn’t let you paste into the password field. This is completely unnecessary and stupid. Even autofill from the password manager consistently injected garbage instead of the true password. This app is almost literally unusable if you have a strong password saved in a password manager.

unusable login screen
attempting to fill the login screen from a password manager results in an error about the password is too short. attempting to paste a long, secure password from a password manager results in an empty password input. you can’t see as you attempt to manually type your random 24 character password and, when you do make a mistake and attempt to delete a character, it deletes the whole string. this ux undoubtedly pushes users into using short passwords vulnerable to dictionary attacks and BofA should be ashamed.
Needs Liquid Glass Update
App works pretty great for the most part. Could use a UI update with iOS 26 Liquid Glass design.

Great functional app,
I think this is a great functional app that has lots of tools. The notificationsr, reminders and security features work great. I always take the time to get familiar with apps that deal with privacy, security and money but I find updating your phone number and email is a challenge to find on the app, not so much on my Mac desktop but on my phone I feel like I’m endlessly searching to update my new phone number and email after my old email was attached by a hacker.
Worst service and app
This app is truly awful. I use it for my credit card and you have to take so many extra steps just to look at your transactions. My Discover it Card (that is supposed to be lower tier) has a WAY better app and system; actually user friendly. The customer service has also been absolutely terrible. I went in because Bank of America was taking HOURS to answer the phone so I went in person just for the person at the first desk to tell me they couldn’t help me in person- I needed to wait on the phone for more hours. I had a stolen wallet and they couldn’t fill out a replacement phone, only through call but no one was answering! He still had the nerve to offer me if I wanted to also open a Bank of America checking account, I told him I had Chase. He said “Oh sorry you have Chase and not Bank of America “. Are you kidding me?! With a terrible service like that you should be ashamed! I regret getting a credit card with bank of America. Their app is also not user friendly at all. Just terrible

Out of all the apps I have on my phone this is the ONLY one to consistently give me issues. 95% of the time the app never wants to open and if you manage to get in everything takes forever to load. I hate this app so much it’s made me consider switching banks all together.

I have Erica turned OFF. I do not want to use her services… or recommendations or alerts. No matter what, she keeps turning herself back on. Either this app is possessed or the turn off doesn’t work. Please fix this. It’s super annoying… and my only complaint about the app.

Something up with this check deposit app. Scanned so many checks with this app and I’ve never had so many issues. Front of check won’t scan. No shadows. Steady hand. Black background. App is up to date. iOS up to date. My co worker on android having same issues.

I’ve been using the BoA mobile app for a while and it adequately caters to all my needs. I really like the time feature as the app greets me when I open it regardless of where I am in the world. Highly recommend especially if you don’t reside in USA.
Confusing web site.
I am a Canadian and deal with several Canadian banks and all of them have sites that are easy to navigate. Your bank of America site is frustrating to say the least.
The app is not working for me
I am trying to transfer money to my grand nephew at Florida. The app is asking for the authorisation code which I received by email. If I put only the authorisation code the page doesn’t activate . There is also a debit and atm card no. in next line which was sent to me on 27th July 2020 which I have not received yet and I do not know when I am going to receive it. I do not know even the PIN. If I put an arbitrary no against the PIN ,the page gets activated. Please help me and let me know how to use the app . Now a days it takes about two to three months to reach a letter from USA to India.

NOTIFICATION FOR TRANSACTIONS POSTING, not purchase
Why do you send me a push notification for a transaction postin to the account vs an actual purchase???? Most banks do it the other way, when it’s important. Instead I get annoying pushes early in the morning and I get paranoid, who’s using my card??? Also, do not like the new fluff flat, blah look. Prefer previous version.
