What people like

What they complain about

- Privacy concerns about sharing location data
I love this app
I love this app! In my opinion, it makes dog walks more fun. You collect bones on your walk and those bones equal money that you can use to shop for items for your dog. I have gotten my dog a bunch of treats, a T-shirt, and three or four bandannas basically for free. I definitely would recommend you checking it out!
Not impressed
The location sharing feels like a privacy issue. Locations of restaurants are wrong even if the address is correct. There is no way to report this. The bones are placed in locations that aren’t necessarily walk friendly - no side walks etc. This might be great if you live in a city but for us this isn’t hitting the mark.
new user
It’s amazing! it keeps me motivated to walk my dogs, i just wish we could add more! I have more dogs in my pack
Too many pop-ups!
What is this supposed to do? This app is ridiculous. I want to find dog friendly places. This doesn’t do it. Apparently the app knows what I want more than I do. It keeps redirecting me away from what I’m searching for. It’s trying to be a social media app. It doesn’t work for me.
Automated bone collection
I enjoy the app. The bone collection is uniquely fun. It would be nice if the bone collection while on walks was automated. Anyone who walks their dogs regularly knows how hard of a task it is to have an app open to manually collect the bones you’re walking near, while trying to ensure the safety of your dog
3 great benefits!
Our dog Snowflake, my daughter and I are using this app during the summer break. We walk almost every day and collect bones for our goal to get/buy a new dog brush for Snowflake. We searched and went many places. We went some dog parks to let Snowflake swim and play with other dogs too. I think collecting bone made my daughter motivated more. It’s really nice to make a goal(how many bones to collect, what to get with them after 30 days. There are many sweet dog lovers with sweet dogs on Lev .Some people share their beautiful views with their walking where they live. We love this app! Thank you☺️
Won’t install
Can’t give this more than one star because I could not finish the installation. It just would not accept my data.
Pretty Good
This app is pretty good. I like the ability to historically see my dog's daily walking path and the Lev community is great.
The perfect app for life on the go with your pet
I’ve been looking for a way to connect with other dog owners and find more places to bring my pup, and I’m so glad I found this app. The developers are super friendly and responsive, and it’s clear they really care about this community. It’s great to have a space where I can look up dog-friendly businesses and earn rewards just for being active with my dog. It’s a brand-new experience for me, but it’s already become a go-to tool. If you love animals, this is a must-have
Cute, but…
Everyone is so trusting on this app. 😳 Yikes. Sharing walk schedules, routes, habits, what they look like, where they live, whether or not they have kids, what kind of dog(s) they have. Perfect for any creeps looking for dogs, kids, young women, or valuables to snatch from the house while you’re out walking Sparky. Y’know, since everyone’s sharing absolutely everything that makes planning that kind of grossness super easy. Sigh. Very cute idea. Finding other dog parents and dog-friendly venues is a great idea! But open, automatic location sharing? I’m sorry, NO THANK YOU. Just because it’s cute and dog-related that doesn’t mean creeps aren’t on it and that the HIGHLY personal information being shared won’t be abused. 😬 Seriously folks, basic internet safety? We don’t share our private details - location, schedules, plans, routes, etc - with complete strangers. We don’t tell everyone about the big vacation until we’re BACK from it for the same reason. That’s a predator’s dream. Don’t. Please. Especially if you’re a younger woman or someone with children. For the love of sanity, please use some caution.
Great walk tracker!
This app has been working well for tracking daily walks with our pup :) Lots of fun features. Finding the 'bones' takes us on new routes we wouldn’t have normally taken. Seeing the mpd tracking really helps to keep our walking distance consistent. I think it will help keep us accountable ★彡
Sad
I was really excited to have found this app… But alas it’s not as easy as it looks Cannot turn it on before the walk and only one walk per day??? Yea NOT IMPRESSED. If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it
Used to be good
I used to really enjoy the Lev dog walking app, but over the past couple of months it’s gone downhill with some frustrating changes. Honestly, I kind of knew this would happen eventually—an app like this felt too good to be true. They constantly move the bones to locations that are either inaccessible or unrealistic to get to, like beyond gated areas or at dead ends where you can’t actually reach them. That alone makes earning feel more annoying than fun. The most frustrating change is the value of the bones. They used to be worth $0.50 each, which actually made it feel worthwhile to go a little out of your way. Now they’re worth only $0.10, which makes collecting them barely worth the effort. On top of that, they recently added a 30-day expiration on bones. Before, you could save them up and use them when you wanted in the marketplace. I went to check my balance recently thinking I had around $200 worth of bones, only to realize the value had dropped so much that it was closer to $40—and it was right before the 30-day expiration. It was incredibly frustrating to realize I’d saved all those bones for basically no reason. Overall, the app used to be fun and motivating, but these recent changes have taken away a lot of what made it enjoyable in the first place.
Disappointing changes and glitches
I’ve been with this app for a while. When I started, all bones were worth $0.50. They are now worth $0.10. That is an 80% decrease. Of course, this happened right as I was about to cash in, because they started adding an expiration date. These two changes should not have been implemented at the same time, and app users should have had a warning. Additionally, there are some strange glitches that happen within the app. Sometimes they resolve themselves; but today’s glitch, for example, won’t let me log in. It just keeps saying, “Something went wrong. Try again later.” I have a pretty decent bone streak going, and if it won’t let me log in before midnight, I’m going to lose that streak and have to start all over. There should be some sort of streak freeze or redemption like a lot of other apps offer. Another glitch prevented me from cashing in my bones at a particular store and saying that they didn’t ship to my location. That one was ridiculous and eventually was resolved weeks later. This app has a lot of potential, but it just doesn’t hit the mark for me. I’ve gotten so frustrated that I have felt like deleting it. The only reason I don’t is that I have gotten cheap stuff for my dog. I say cheap instead of free, because I still have to pay for the shipping, the bones aren’t worth what they were when I joined, and the bones expire now. It’s more like getting a discount or a coupon as opposed to free items.
Dog friends
This is a great app if you’re looking to walk your dog and play with some dog friends.
Stop the walk
I can’t figure out how to stop the walk. I’m at home and its still counting. What do I do?!
Lev bone rate’
I had reached out to Lev in regards to their sudden rate exchange within the Lev App. My partner and I go for our regular afternoon walk as always - or as frequently as possible. And we were excited to checkout our first-ever purchase on Lev Marketplace, but come to find out - our “bones” are now worth less than half of its original worth. I wanted to check out the Weighted Pup Stack - Pink from Pup Stack, and so we wanted to check out before the expiration date. We were not made aware of the bone currency rate exchange. It’s very dishonest and disappointing for those who’ve been saving up for months before the changes took effect. Also, another feature we’re not happy about considering that we’re in the Midwest and the weather here can be as bipolar as it gets. We wanted to share our thoughts and concerns as we’re not happy with the outcome of the overall worth for collecting bones - which honestly takes away from the incentive to collect bones and overall keep our account active.
Used to be better
I really love this app and I still do! I love being able to track my dog’s walks and collect bones along the way. Only issue I have is that recently the bones got a 30 day limit before the refresh. That’s ok and fine I always thought that it was too much to have 50 cent bones that I can collect multiple times a day. The issue is that suddenly without warning they decided to make bones worth 10 cents instead! How am I supposed to save up for anything at that rate if the bones still reset every month! If you can reverse one of these 2 changes then I will change this review to 5 stars.
great app! 🐶
Easy to use and perfect for meeting other dogs nearby!
Don’t recommend
Gave me misleading and wrong info!
Disappointed
I initially loved this app when I first downloaded it. I really liked that it felt like a social media account for your dog, and I enjoyed walking around my neighborhood collecting bones. A major selling point for me was being able to collect bones and redeem them for rewards. Over the past few weeks, though, that experience has changed. Bones now have a 30-day expiration date, which on its own might have been manageable. However, the value of the bones was also significantly reduced—from $0.50 per bone to just $0.10. I would have had far less of an issue with this change if the bones didn’t expire. Collecting bones in my neighborhood is already challenging, and adding a 30-day limit completely removes the incentive to use the app. At the very least, the app should have chosen one change or the other—either reduce the value or add an expiration date, not both. Overall, I’m really disappointed, as this took away what made the app enjoyable and worthwhile in the first place
Make bones worth it again!
— EDIT Just deleted my account after the developer response. The 30 day expiration update already prevents people from hoarding and abusing the bones. If I’m on a 30-60-90 day streak and lev’s feature is to reward streaks, then why are we being penalized for maintaining that streak? The bones are no longer worth collecting at 80% cut of its original value. I’m an early adopter and power user (almost hit my 3 month streak of using the app daily as I walk my dog). Today I woke up to find out that the conversion rate for bones have been reduced by 80%!! Bones are only worth 10 cents each now. This isn’t enough incentive to get me to continue using this app. All good things come to an end, was good while it lasted.
Lev is a lot of fun
Lev is a lot of fun and is a great way to keep track of your walks. It’s also a fun way to meet other people and dogs around the world
My Account Removed
Thursday April 2nd, I was going to use the Lev’s walking section in the app to walk my dogs since the weather was beautiful. When I tried to login, it said there’s suspicious activity. Lev suspended my account for no reason. Never received an email on why they did it. I posted photos of my 2 dogs and give updates on them. Now they’re gone.
Great App!!!
I love this app!!! Would love to spread the word. This will get me traveling and walking more! 🥰
Spy in your phone
Not really helpful to find dog friendly places. Require to provide a lot of data for no reason.
ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED 🐾🐶
I’m honestly obsessed with this app. Lev is basically Instagram for your dog but somehow even more fun haha. You’re able to track your walks and actually collect bones while you’re at it that you can use to buy stuff in the app, which makes me want to walk way more than I probably would otherwise lol. You can also drop pins for pet friendly spots so other dog owners know where to go, which I think is such a good idea. Genuinely one of the most fun apps I’ve used in a while, highly recommend if you have a dog and want an excuse to walk more.
MAKE BONES WORTH SOMETHING AGAIN
Imagine my surprise when I’m about to spend the bones I’ve been saving up and with ZERO NOTICE, they have reduced their worth by 80%. We had a good thing while it lasted, but guess all good things must come to an end
Smart Rewards, easy discovery.
A smart mix of rewards and discovery. It makes finding dog friendly spots effortless and keeps walks feeling fresh and fun.
Great for dog lovers
Some people are dog lovers - but some people are DOG LOVERS and this is who that app is for. No one will get sick and tired of seeing your pup. You can share dog friendly locations and trails too. I’ve only been using it for a couple weeks but there is so much potential! Looking forward to seeing this app grow!!
