DO NOT USE THIS APP
Really disappointing experience. I’ve found AIA Vitality incredibly difficult and frustrating to use. The app does not sync reliably, which seems ridiculous when so much of the programme relies on tracking and syncing your activity. I contacted customer support for help, but unfortunately the overall experience remained awful and unnecessarily complicated. I would not recommend AIA Vitality based on my experience. For a paid programme that is supposed to encourage and reward healthy habits, it shouldn’t require this much effort just to get the app to work properly. I genuinely think people should think twice before spending their money on it unless the syncing and usability issues are improved.
Good
Very easy to do health checks and get points
Weights Workouts give no points
Last few weeks workouts give nothing, even a leg workouts where I can’t walk afterwards… my fitness age also increased 4 years this week when I decreased my weight 1kg. This app makes no sense.
Need more updates
Can’t open on the old iPhone, like iPhone 6p, after updating.

Vitality has been such a great tool to create consistency and help keep my fitness and wellbeing front and centre. And it saves me money 👌
Unreliable and frustrating
Steps data never syncs correctly meaning you miss out on vitality points and rewards. It says ‘synced’ then ‘no data’ when you’ve done 12k steps meaning you miss out on points. The most frustrating app…
Shift worker
I work shift work so some of the sleeping questions hard to answer I really hard to even the times out
Frustrating to use
I love the concept of the app however there are a lot of bugs in the questionnaires. I cannot complete them because the app does not allow me to select some of the answers. I find myself tapping on the answers multiple times with no recognition from the app. I have logged in and out and re-downloaded. Very frustrating!
Sync issues impact points
It is annoying that the app does not sync near real time with Some of their partners ie Les Mills . You missed points if it is not sync before the end of the week . Also, goals points set without taking in consideration recovery time specially for those getting fit again , it can be harmful.
Review
The review was fairly simple.
Super user unfriendly
Very complicated to use and if you don't want to offer the deal? Don't offer! Not show it on your page but make me do thousands of times to do it again and again. Just treating your client like rubbish
Sync not accurate
Takes a long time to get points right.
A bit like an app from 2005
Not intuitive to use or navigate. Having to open your health app first to get the data across is a bit clunky and annoying (and not something you need to do on any other app). Randomly it is difficult to log on - decides it doesn’t like your user name or password or something. Could be a good app but a long way from it at the moment
App is ok but still need to print of physical medical form
What’s the point of going digital when you still need to print off a health check and screening form and need a physical doctor/nurse signature. You should be able to enter those details online instead of having to print off a physical form and then attach a photo of it. Highly unlikely that for a dentist appt or when I go to get yearly flu vaccinations that I have a printed form handy!
App
The app is so good that I give this example to so many others
Unreliable app
This app is often unavailable and needs re-syncing to devices multiple times a week to update data and allocate points. The AIA age is also very off putting.
Always show something wrong
Can’t log in , always show something wrong, then when I try change the password , the app is locked🥲🥲🥲

Good

Very useful!
Pointless
I ride one hour a day on Zwift meeting all the requirements, and ported into Strava but still does not count towards activity points. What a waste.
Smart watch issues
I’m nearing the end of a 2 year run. Overall the experience is ok, but I’ve lost count of the number of times it didn’t account for my daily steps. Sporadically, it would also miss other activities as well. Emails to alert them of these omissions would take forever to be answered. I’d drop this app in a heartbeat only for the fact that I’m getting a slight discount on my insurance premiums. Looks good, good intentions but it hugely lacks solid connection issues with smart watches.
登录问题
很烦,隔段时间就要求改密码不然就登不进去,每次密码还不能重复,要求还多的不行,已经改了十几个密码了,现在已经根本记不住密码是什么了
Love it. Great motivation
It has changed my life routine
not able to re-sync with Apple Health
It just spin spin …. Spin for ever :(
Utterly frustrating
This is app is SO slow! Pages take minutes to load. Strava doesn’t sync automatically, unlike Apple health. When you do manually sync it, at times the points don’t reflect until the next day. It’s just so frustrating, considering it’s a paid addition to our health insurance, you’d think we could get it half decent app…
Points feature
For the tech team. I’d like to see other point options allocated. Specifically 75 points for a 45 min walk. Can you please add this
Motivation
It helps me to get motivated 😍
Always shows “Something went wrong, please try again”
Can someone please fix this problem, very annoying when entering this app now. If problem cannot been resolved maybe just used the old version. And Face ID login to this app always shows fail but I am using the same face to unlock my phone lolz.
Always stops updating activity
Good app in concept, wish it would sync properly. I have a new series Apple Watch so don’t understand the problem. Frustrating.
Fast and easy
This app is very easy to use
Unable to log in
I am unable to log in even using the login and password that I always use and it just says unable to log in, not incorrect log in details
Activity record missing
I have several times activity records not showing in this app, while they are in the Apple Health data, recorded by my Apple Watch. I reached out to the service teams and provided the evidence, they are quite nice and helped me add the record and points back. But it is still frustrating that the exercise activity sometimes is not reflected in the app due to whatever the reason.
Unable to load Sleep data from Apple Health App
Can’t earn points from the sleeps in the Apple Health App, even though the sleep length is over 7 hours.
Delaying all the time
Not recommended
App not opening
The Vitality app wont open and only shows the logo when opening. I’ve tried restarting my phone and re-downloading the app but still no success.
Health Check
On my lab test my HbA1c measured 37 which is below the reference range of <42. Therefore I should have scored in the healthy range for AIA Health Check. Your explanation came back with a measure of 5.8..?? Or something? Also my cholesterol/HDL is very much in the healthy range at 2.9 (<4.5 recommended). So I should achieve full points for this health measure as well. If you want to email or phone me to explain if I am reading it wrong. I can always redo those blood tests before November.
App updates issues
Latest iOS update It takes ages to load or fails to load and has much missing info, then getting error messages, I starting to question if it worth having also with the limited things one can get points for, should be allowed for points to be accumulated over whole week, eg if ya did up to 5499 steps in one day (u get no points) and 7000 on another day (25 points) but if ya did that on 1 day that’s 50 points, should be based on a week as we have a weekly total to achieve these points,
Broken most of the time
Points don’t get updated on time, always some problem or the other
