Good ah gym

Pathetic
This app is useless, there’s literally nothing you can do with it that doesn’t require a call to some useless tool in their so called call centre. It’s no wonder why this was spun up after all the scandal around Jetta and Fitness Farce and the rest of the “Fitness Lifestyle Group”. Go to a local independent gym and avoid this, Jetta, Fitness First, Good Health and Barneys Bootcamp, it’s all garbage and there’s multiple legal suites pending
Digital access tricky
Digital access works fine, IF you know how to use it. In-app it tells you to hold the back of your phone to the reader - which doesn’t help. Really I’ve found holding to top edge of your phone close to the bottom 1/3 of the reader (below the big circular light) will consistently and almost immediately unlock the door. Would be great if the in-app guidance was more accurate about this

Easy to use but could be better
App is easy to use. It would be great if there are more features on the app such as workout suggestions or workout plan and how to use equipment, account information (and be able to change any details) and scheduled payment.
Door entry does not work
Recent update has completely broken the door entry function. I stood at the Hallett Cove door for 15 mins trying to get it to unlock and it simply didn’t work. Worked fine previously.
Incorrect Diagram
Hi, I’ve been troubleshooting my access on and off for a few weeks now and I have finally worked it out. On the iPhone 17 series, the NFC reader is located at the very top of the phone - putting your phone’s back to the reader will only work sometimes as the connection is too weak for it to be consistent. If you have a 17 Pro Max it will not work at all as the NFC reader is too far away. Please update your app with new guidance sometime soon so no one else spends an hour at the door trying to work out why they can’t get in to the gym!

Access doesn’t always work
When I walk up to scan my phone to get into the gym there’s a 50/50 chance it won’t work. My only semi solution is then stand there and restart my phone then it normally eventually works. Really annoying. I think a barcode scanner would be more reliable and efficient

Totally unreliable for access to the gym.
App did not open/load sometimes
The app did not open/load so I was unable to access my pass. The app had been updated to latest version and iOS, no other changes I restarted phone and forced closed the app, didn’t work. So I had to reinstall and relogin. Instead of relying on APIs and services that have downtime an Apple Pay solution like Anytime would be better as it works offline
The new app stinks
The app is horrible. Go back to nfc tags. Noting it’s a cost savings exercise just let me pay for a tag.
Finicky UX and digital entry bugs
App is fine in terms of design, but the user experience is terrible. It also occasionally signs me out. Digital key is a lot more stable nowadays compared to its introduction. Please allow members for a cancellation option within the app - freeze is already there so why not implement it.
Not working
I tried many times . It does not working at all . I have to stand outside around 10 mins.

i have to log in every single time i go to the gym now. it takes so long to get in. i was excited for app entry but now i miss the tags :/

Absolutely the worse system or app to access the gym. Hardy works and most of the time the staff or members have to let me and others in. Get rid of this garbage!
Tragically unusable
This app is completely useless, it works about 10% of time letting me into the gym. It is a personal security risk, I want a fob. Dont bother gaslighting me that I’m not using it correctly or I have an outdated version, it’s garbage no matter what version I use or how often I delete and reinstall this app. Terrible.
Rubbish
Absolute rubbish. The amount of times i have been left standing out the front of an empty gym because the app does not work is ridiculous. I’m a shift worker - so often i’m training at 3am or mid night when the gym is empty. When the app doesn’t work i’m left with no choice but to wait in my car until someone else arrives. Worst gym i’ve ever been a member of in my life.
