- Great graphics options for portable play
What they complain about
- Black screen stops the game from loading
- iOS updates break compatibility with older versions
- In-app purchases and shop features are buggy
Works on ios 26.5
Great game, no black screen issue after update
Not free
Port runs/ looks great but make it paid up front, its just a demo
Fails to launch
i'm glad, for once, that the purchase is in-app, so Capcom should be motivated to correct this in order to reap the human monies. I will be excited, at that point, to play an iOS-native port of a proper video game. Device is an iPhone 15 Pro running iOS 26.5, and the game reports an error accessing iCloud with an acknowledge prompt to cancel launch. My iCloud has 150MB free, and I don't understand why my abundant local storage is insufficient.
Black screen start up
It was 5 stars for me until just now it gave me a black screen every time I booted it up. I uninstalled it and reinstalled, restarted my M5 iPad Pro, and still black screen. I have no idea if anyone else is experiencing this but please fix it
AWESOME SURViVAL GAME
EASiER to PLAY than RE2 & STiLL a FUN SUrViVAL GAME on my iPHONE 16 BASE MODEL. I USE my BLUE SERiES X CONTROLLER to PLAY ViA USB-C.
Ho Hum…
Visuals are nice. Gameplay is fine. But the game is way too easy. I played at Nightmare level. Still too easy. You wind up with huge amounts of left over resources you don’t use or need…weapons you don’t need and don’t use. Tons of medicine you don’t need. All the levels are too short. All you do is fight the same creature over and over. The story is lame. Some of the dialogue. You get into the nest and then it’s just over. Feels incomplete, like someone pulled the plug. I never bothered with the final fights.
Did not work on iOS 26.4, but is fixed now
iOS 26.4 was released on March 24, 2026, and the game has not been playable or updated since that time. UPDATE: the app was finally restored after about two months, and works well on iPhone 17 iOS 26.5 with MCON controller. Other than some tiny text being difficult to read, the game is intense and engaging.

Black screen
Used to work great. Now it won’t open. Only get a black screen. I found a work around though. Just put your device in airplane mode before opening the app. Then turn off airplane mode..
Working
As of 5/31/2026 re2 and re3 seem to be working again
Broken game
Once you buy the game it’s nothing but a blank screen and you can’t play the game. Do NOT buy this game
O jogo está excelente no iPhone 15 Pro Max
Incrivelmente envolvente, me deixou completamente preso durante toda a gameplay.

I bought this game for my iPad Pro M5. I played it and beat it. Then closed it out but when I went to play it again to gain more achievements all it did was play the introduction and then nothing but a black screen I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied.

Love it but there a big bug
I love this game to the bottom of my heart but right now it is having problems starting up on the iPhone 15’s. Capcom is currently trying to fix this, but if you are looking for a resident evil to play on the go, do not buy this one until you search up if they fix the patch.
It’s Fantastic!
I’ve played this game so many times on Xbox, got it again on steam and when I finally upgraded to an iPhone 17 and saw it on sale. I had to get Resident Evil 3 to play on the go. It’s the full game and it runs fantastic and you can even customize your experience a bit with graphics options. But it’s a amazing game that gets a bad reputation in my opinion, well worth the money. Must buy for fans of RE or fans of portable AAA gaming. I’m still in shock games like this run on a phone.. look how far we’ve come since that old RE4 port on the ye old iPhones of 2009
Great game, won’t load anymore
Great game, won’t load anymore
Bom
O jogo é bom, mas é legal deixar claro que é pago, você só joga até um certo tempo, depois tem que pagar para continuar.
Вылет
Вылетает на моменте, в начале когда спускаюсь в убежище, хз и думаю просто так купил.
Tried the free part
I’ve played other Resident Evil games, this one didn’t impress me that much. Maybe for half the price I would have changed my mind.
excellent
Runs great on MacBook Pro and iPad Pro. Great price for game and DLC. I hope Capcom keeps making games for Mac.

Stopped working on the latest iOS. Capcom are aware of the issue but so far have done nothing to fix it. Don’t buy it until the issue gets resolved.

Big problem Capcom!
In this review, I want to write about how Capcom ignores its fans and players. The game is wonderful and helps a lot to players who are often away and can't play through a PC. But the way the company ignores the players sucks. In the recent update 26.4 there was a bug, the company confirmed it, but no news when the problem will be solved is said and roughly speaking we were scored and simply postponed this problem to the background. I want to say to these reviews that if you are ready to endure while the developers start working on their game for more than a month and not give any news and chances for the best, then of course buy. Draw your own conclusions. (Those who read, I apologise for the spelling, because I write through a translator, I'm Russian myself)
