Simple and easy to use
This is a very simple and basic app. No frills. View balances, make transfers, track your credit history, find branches, make mobile deposits. Pretty much what’s needed to keep up with basic banking.
Logging in
Last update whatever yall did, I physically have to login now every time! I removed the app reinstalled and same! Why do yall make things worse everyone you make an update!?!? Are you personally even using the app? Probably not!
Glitches every 3-4 times I try to open
The app is often very good and helpful, but the sign-in page seems to glitch out every 3-4 times I try to open it. I use a pin, but every so often, I get either a time-out error or a biometrics access required error. The last thing I want is to be forced to add biometrics to my phone by my banking app. Please allow us to opt out of this in future updates. Thank you.
New issues
Same issues as many others years. Always a cropping error. Sometimes it works, sometimes not on mobile deposit. Worked in software for 30 years, I don’t require tech support or a response.
Seems to have glitches
I find every aspect of the app fine except for the fact I cannot cash checks as when it brings me to the screen to document the check the app becomes unresponsive.
Great Improvement
A year ago the app had some bugs but I’ve seen great improvement and it’s easy to use.
Why !!! End of day at 8 pm on a Saturday
This company doesn’t make sense… why are you running end of day ay 8 pm on a Saturday when people are out having dinner and doing things .. and instead of being able to use my card in a public place I’m humiliated because my card is not working but it’s because they running end of day at 8 pick a real time that works for the people that use your service not during a time when we are outside on a Saturday
Good app, a couple suggestions
Hello, the app overall runs pretty well. Can you please add a “remaining statement balance” option to the pay function for credit cards? This is a really handy feature that most other credit card apps have. Also, I have been unable to access my statement balance notices on the app. They load well on the website, but they won’t load at all on mobile.

I’ve been with UFCU for about 10 years now… This app used to work well…idk what’s happened recently but it’s SO slow on their backend. Worst the app has ever been
stop kicking me out
this began out of the blue recently but this app has asked for my username & pw multiple times, without prompting my 5 digit pin as it usually does. it’s gone past annoying & needs to stop. otherwise this app has been fine.

Works perfectly! I don’t see why people are complaining, most likely they didn’t plan ahead! Everything it needs to do it does perfectly!
Forced Closed
It keeps crashing. It won’t even let you get past the log in prompt.

Basically I like the app. I wish the button to close the app was more readily accessible. I can’t really see it because on my phone it is covered by the description of the app version. If that were fixed I would love this app.
Not the best
Idk how this app has a 4.7 rating bc it’s not very good. We STILL CANNOT SEE CREDITS MARKED GREEN!!! Why are only some deposits or credits marked green??? Also, the search feature sucks! When I search with a word that I’m looking at right there in the list of transactions it tells me nothing was found!! 🤯 Oh yeah, and, it takes forever to open once it takes my face ID! I don’t understand why an organization like UFCU cannot have a more put together app??!!
Unable to Update
I liked the app, used it often, and I especially appreciated being able to deposit checks remotely, but the new update requires a newer operating system than any of my devices are capable of supporting. Could you please make available a version that can be used on older devices, or make it possible to deposit checks by logging in via web browser, instead of the mobile app? Short of finding an ATM, or buying a new mobile device ($$$!) what are my options?

Nothing but bugs and sloooooooow loading times. Face ID hasn’t worked in months on this app. This app deserves 0 stars.
Slow and unreliable!!
This rating is for the app only, not the institution as a whole! This app stresses me out. Every time I open it, I expect that I’ll either spend the next 2-3 minutes just waiting and hoping for it to load, or I will get frustrated and exit the app without getting done what I needed to. I really like UFCU but as someone who is making constant transactions and uses my phone a lot of for work, I am considering a switch to another bank just for peace of mind. It is so embarrassing to sit in front of a client with a blank phone screen while I awkwardly try to entertain them during the minutes it takes for the app to load just so I can confirm that a transaction went through. I love you so much UFCU! You’ve been great to me, but this app is not it! Update: App has gotten so much better :) Thanks UFCU!
New trouble with mobile deposit
Generally, app has worked fine - now I’m having trouble with mobile deposit, in particular the back side of check. It keeps saying the edges of the checks are not located and take another photo. Tried many different surfaces, lighting. There is nothing unique about this check (payroll) check). This is main function why I use the app.
Lifetime of Security
My dad signed me up for my first credit union account & for about 70 years I have enjoyed the security & financial freedom because of that guidance. When I moved to Austin, UFCU was my second credit union because I had been hired by COA. I was encouraged to transfer my small savings & was given access to it. I was then referred to UFCU & I have managed my account with excellent guidance every step of the way managing my retirement. You’re an exemplary organization & I am grateful for the support you provide to me.
FIX IT
Worst banking up by far!!!! Always app maintenance when you need it most. Slow, unresponsive, inefficient and pathetic. Can never un lock or lock my card without it taking forever. Horrible banking app. I’d give it 0 stars if possible!!!
Inconvenient
Terrible old fashioned app. They constantly make you update it and it’s still the same. Not on the same league as other banking apps.

Terrible app (and website)
This app is terrible. Both the app and the UFCU website continually fail to load my transactions. I have to refresh multiple times or quit altogether to get them to work.
Wish we still were using the old app
I’ve had issues ever since we had to switch to this app. From logging me out to showing I have money on my account with no pending transactions and making a transaction to see that I’m on the negative (I never had issue with the last app)slow logging in and slow moving money over from account to account.
I love this bank but the app sucks
Customer service is amazing but the app literally doesnt work when you need it to.

Worst app that I have ever used
This is the worst app that I have ever used in my life. If I could give it zero stars I would. It crashes constantly, has limited features, poor UI and the app is slow. The app is so bad that I’m seriously considering switching banks because I do 99% of my banking online.
