Review
Amazing app
Meh
This used to be a great app they they got greedy. I used there services for little over a year and it was amazing. Not they charge u for this and that. Why tho u are helping us make clips I know everyone gots to make money. But when yall first started the services its we free and fast. Now it cost and it’s super slow. Going to have to go back to making my own clips
NBA 2K
Dope app. I just wish there was an edit to make a complilation of my NBA 2K stream clips
Misleading
I expected the AI to automatically identify and generate highlight clips. Instead I had to manually select and train the AI using my own content, and after doing that I found the generated clips required a Premium subscription to access. The free version wasn’t useful for the workflow I expected.
Over paying for nothing
Save your money. You better off clipping and making your own clips. Don’t even get me started on how you pay for the monthly subscription come back into app and it act like you didn’t even pay it. I’ve paid twice in a month for it and couldn’t restore the membership! So idek why I’m paying this if it can’t be used and no one to talk to about restoring it besides AI with bad advice.
Streamer’s Best Friend
Like dog is man’s best friend Eklipse is a streamers best friend. Forget spending hours after a long stream reviewing for the best clips. Either link your streaming (Twitch) account or upload your stream video and let Eklipse comb through the video and provide you some of the best clips from that stream. If you play some of their marketed games such as COD 7, Forza 6, or Arc Raiders they offer VIP passes to guarantee you get the best clips. I like it so much I went ahead and bought the yearly to save myself about $12 a month.
AI does not clip the right moments
This app does not work, don’t waste your time or money. Just clip from Twitch.
Good clipping software
It does the job, captions are really nice and accurate. Would like to be able to trim the clip like on twitch because it does miss the beginning and end for context or punchline sometimes.
Stream clips
My twitch is linked yet I get no clips and sometimes I add my live twitch url and that doesn’t register so idk what to do
Bad services
First time good, after few clips ai don’t do good job it’s just to get you on the plan, get any clips even not relevant, also pay premium for all year and still having problem to process the stream, it’s just bad
5 out of 5
The best platform I have used for making clips of my streams
Poor
Not worth the money ‼️
Firelight
Its good app but you need to pay certain thing
What they need to change
I used to love Eclipse.gg because it made it easy to get clips from my streams and helped small creators and Twitch streamers grow. The app itself works well, but recently it feels like everything is locked behind a paywall. You can barely access clips without subscribing, and the pricing feels too expensive for smaller creators. It’s a good app overall, but the cost makes it hard to recommend to people who don’t have extra money to spend every month. I understand companies need to make money, but Eclipse feels much less creator-friendly than it used to be.
Bro this could be so good
The thing is you’re not where yall need to be. Meaning things don’t work for long content with top tier internet and premium subscription things don’t work. Yall need to fix and update way more. This could be a website/app/platform of a lifetime to help people not only clip and edit but find true meaning in their work. when it comes to gaming, streaming, making content you feel as if you need a character to bring extra dialogue and attention to the video. Fix it up cause goddamn it I believed in yall and paid for full so get it together boys.
Solid idea poor execution
The over AI aspect of the program is rather poor. With the mobile version is very laggy and is rough to edit. However the desktop versions is far more friends and seems to work smoother. They need to revamp “AI clipping” and look at the vocal capture aspect as it misses it a lot. Overall I’ve enjoyed using the app. Don’t believe the viral score though cause it puts it on anything.
Issues unresolved
Repeated issues of poor clips, last 30-45 minutes of 3-4 hours streams, ai edit freezes or kicks you out, scheduled post claim to post but go to apps and have nothing posted. I find ai captioning to be very generic and poorly written, definitely not grabbing attention to gain traction. Was told everything was fixed with the recent updates and continued to fix things only to pay for another month and have more issues than the first time. You are better off using it as a free app to download some of you clips and edit them how you want but don’t plan on having your full stream analyzed
Makes it Easy to make clips!
This app is great! It definitely could be better as it doesn’t always capture the correct moments rather it collect the badges when you get them. I play Call of Duty so if I get a fury badge it only shows the kill when I received the badge, not all the kills I got to get the badge. I would also like to add music of my choice when manually creating clips. Some of the memes are good but most of them are irrelevant to what I do. When you let AI create a TikTok clip it uses the same memes quite often so most of your clips appear similar. I like to make all my clips very different from one another so they stand out. I haven’t used the professional clip maker as it seems pricey for already paying for the top level of eclipse. With all that said, I do find it convenient and easy to create clips. Takes about 15 mins to manually make one!
Somethings change
I once wrote a 5 star review because they ask for a review to enter a contest. But here’s the real review, the app worked amazingly about 6 months ago then they “updated” there AI and since then when you use the AI to edit the videos most of the time it zooms in on the videos and nothing more. I’ve reached out to ask about this and they always tell you go to the discord, and the people on there don’t help. You get a subscription for about 20$ a month but what they don’t tell you is they are starting to request VIP passes for the newer games like Arc Raiders for them to process the clips which is hidden behind another paywall. This app deserves a 2 because it helps get clips only, not worth anything else. I grabbed the app since I saw how other streamers were advertising it but then for another 20$ you can have a real person edit one video.
App Isn’t Loading “retry later”
I honestly was enjoying the app for sure, even paid for it. However now the app won’t even load my login. It keeps saying “Something went wrong” and I can’t even get into my account. Wish it was smoother
Made editing my gameplay so easy!!!
Before I found Eklipse, I was completely lost as far as editing videos from my live stream. Now, all I do is let them handle it! About 10 minutes after I finish my stream I get a notification with all my game highlights ready to post. And if I want to edit them, they make that super easy too!
Terrible!
The AI on this is absolute garbage. It missed all my actual jump scares, interactions, etc. and recorded random spots that had 0 content. I could’ve been on brb screen and it would clip that. Also, $25 is crazy for such terrible results. Needs too much work before it’ll ever be worth it
Good but not finished yet
The voice ai “clip it” is great and a good tool to be able to create content faster. The app it self feels sluggish and I never really know what has and has not started working. There needs to be a queue that is easily accessible to see what you are working on at a glance and to be able to start/stop/pauses/remove what your processing. The editing aspect is ok on mobile but I haven’t tried the desktop version yet. I bought a year membership and I a hoping there are updates along the way. I’m still happy with my purchase and I can see the potential of greatness. Now to be patient…
Bugs everywhere!!!
If it worked like it said it would I’d give it a higher rating. I literally troubleshooted my Facebook link for the app. Now it tells me I can’t connect something I just disconnected from. I can’t connect instagram after doing everything they told me to do. They don’t even have customer support, just a discord that you can’t submit a ticket too. Deleting this app for sure
Good concept
Downloaded it as a free user extremely hard to sign in without errors and extremely glitchy in general
The Better option for AI reel Highlights
I’ve used a good couple of AI powered clipping tools, out of all of them, the pro subscription really makes the app shine with the feature set that becomes available. I will say the model could use some extra tweaks to capture clips more consistently, especially when using the hotwords to trigger clipping. Also the option to choose how long it clips for as well as making it so the AI selects some good royalty free music for the clip.

Asco de aplicación
Love it but pricing needs work
Hello used premium a few times definitely one the best video editors so far. Just don’t like how yearly is $179. Can we subscribe a lifetime one instead of coughing up almost $200 annually?
Paywall
The foundation of the app it itself is solid and a great idea. But not being able to even preview clips or ANYTHING without paying is a turn off for sure that wasn’t mentioned during advertising.
Good but not great
It isa good app but main problem with the app is that there’s a lot of bugs and often times to content you post may or may not post with the exact same settings that you saved when you published it
Noice app fr
I like that I can make clips by telling it to clip mid stream
Scam
What’s you to pay for the premium version to view your clips and if you want them to locate different games in your stream that another payment - lackluster edits and basic features asked for a refunded due to not being told fully what i was getting into and i haven’t heard back from them. I have messaged them on twitter , email , and discord. Customer Service team and Engineers seem to be inactive.
Love the auto clip
I work 3rd shift and having this app go through my streams and clip my kills and or funny moments are great and a huge time saver.
Phone app doesn’t let me log use it
I paid for premium to have it find my clips for me and the voice recording feature. But the mobile app has never worked for me. When I try to log in it just tells me the information is used for a different account not sure what’s up with that issue. The website works though.
ADD FRENCH AI
It could be better but I paid the premium subscription and I’m French so is my content and the AI can’t help me for finding clips if the dev could add French AI for all content creators it could be a lot better🫶👌
Honest Thoughts
Eklipse.gg is honestly great for Quick edits of your streams. haven’t had any issues, I do wish it had more memes and sounds to pull from. Like trending from different platforms that you can use. But other than that it’s easy to understand and make edits, the ai edits are ok, no hype with that but once again it’s ridiculously easy to do yourself. I recommend it 10/10 especially if you’re new to editing clips!!!
Terrible
Bombardes you and focuses on features you don’t need and gives you minimal control over things that actually matter with YOUR own content. I’ve tried using the website for things the app can’t do but that doesn’t work either. It’s 2 different eco systems and neither of them work by themselves. Needs work
Decant
I’m very new to this app but it looks promising with loads of features to use
Bugs
I really want this app to work well I think it’s awesome there’s just a lot of bugs they need to fix
Great
Awesome platform recommend
Doesn’t work
I bought premium only for it lock my clips and stream behind yet another paywall. I have been literally unable to use it in any capacity and support has blatantly ignored me. Not worth it.
Great app
Saves me so much time in making content for other platforms then twitch.
Not as good as advertised
Firstly it took ages for the video to load. Secondly it wasnt even good i asked for it to be funny it just was cringe
free version is alright
It’s okay, it clips some good bits but most of the time it is just random clips where nothing happens (free version)
Easy to understand
Fun and simple. Endless possibilities
Clips
At first they where getting good clips since the update barely getting any clips
Pretty good
Eklipse is the best twitch clip TikTok video converter I have ever used. Being able to just go on the website, grab one of the clips you have made on Twitch directly from their website and convert It into a TikTok format makes life so much easier, especially for those who don’t really know what they are doing when it comes to video editing. The AI editor in my experience isn’t good at all, but there is an option to hire a real person to edit your clips more professionally through the website directly. The mobile app is very useful in my experience, to download your edited TikTok converted clips directly to your phone and upload them to TikTok, but I wish there was a way to edit and convert your twitch clips into TikTok videos directly from the mobile app but unfortunately, you cannot do that right now. and lastly, the only thing that I don’t like about eklipes in my personal experience is sometimes when downloading a converted TikTok clip from the app to your phone. It will cut off a couple seconds off the original converted clip.
Pay wall. Nothing is free.
Kind of hard to see what this app does if I have to pay for everything. Putting a pay wall on apps will just push people away. We need to see what the app can do before committing to a monthly charge.
Pretty good app
Really good app. Defo needs some improvements tho. When it gets clips of my streams, I’m constantly loosing which was the last video I was reviewing, and there is no way to delete ones you don’t like. The quality of my clips isn’t the best either. For $20/month I expect better. Great idea for an app tho
