FUN GAME
I AM REALLY NEW AT PLAYING GAMES A TYPICAL SCENARIO WHERE IM AN ADULT JUST TRYING TO UNWIND. THE CONTROLS ARE NOT TO STRESSFUL AND ITS AN EASY GOING GAME YOU CAN HAVE A GREAT TIME
Don’t bother
This game is a complete waste of time. There is a reason it only has 11,000 reviews. You work hard on a city than it tanks. No reason. No explanation. The grid is to small. Seriously don’t bother.

TOO much "Required" to start... 🤷🏼
This game started off promising but man, the constant interruptions kill it. Every time you try to do anything, it forces you through these long unskippable tutorials and cutscenes. You can’t just jump in and play freely. Instead you have to sit through this annoying stupid wizard yapping at you before anything opens up. No free play, no skipping ahead, just forced hand-holding that feels like it never ends. If you want a game that actually lets you play instead of babysitting you through nonsense, go find something else. Not worth the hassle.

Decent game that asks to share data constantly. It crashes any time I place a special building. Other reviews says it’s buggy and it is.
Fix water issue
Love the game! Only issue is that the water pumps/towers are never full regardless of whether they are in a max water area. Either fix it or add a tutorial to explain how to max out the water

This is a great game
this game is really fun to play！It helps you learn about city management and think of ways to improve your city.It also helps you make decisions to keep your citizens happy.My only complaint is that you have to spend money every month to keep playing but that doesn’t effect the gameplay.
Fun but
Really difficult menu system resetting the map to a blank seems to be impossible you will have to deconstruct each building one by one and the roads for a clear map there is no easy clear map option.

Fun at first, but seriously tedious
I really liked the first few worlds I played, but every level is exactly the same. Same buildings, same “conversations” with the townspeople, same exact goals every single time. Maybe you have a beach and can put down one of the beach buildings, but really nothing changes. It doesn’t get more challenging; the only real challenge is at the beginning of each level, when you’re first starting out and the money is low. And, after the first few levels, there’s not even a lame storyline for the level anymore, like there are for the first ones. It’s just “raise the city level” and complete (the exact same) projects as they arise (e.g., build or upgrade an education/water/power/park/fire/police/transportation building, build X number of buildings). You’re doing the exact same thing every time.

I’m loving the game but it’s missing trains. When will more options for public transportation be added to the game? It’s a huge part of a quality city planning game for me! Buses don’t feel super sustainable to me personally.
Good… Not really!
The game has things that makes you think is a great game. But when you play more than 2 or 3 day in a row you realise this game has been made for monetisation but later on removed it for Arcade. I really enjoyed it for the first 2 days but then you realise the smart features the game has start to feel gimmicky and glitchy. It’s a pity to see a good concept and idea to be finished so poorly. It shouldn’t be in Apple Arcade.
We need mods on this game
Hi I just wanted to say that I used to play cities skylines but now I have an iPad so now I play cityscapes: sim builder and I want to have addons and maps that have scenario but it still is my favorite build a city game

2 stars, I’ve been playing for a few weeks. Mostly multiplayer which I do rank. But I will say, this game has serious and very frustrating issues starting around lvl 55. The building simply do not communicate. I’ve contacted support, typical answer that doesn’t work. I’ve grown to hate this game for just how stupid the mechanics are. The game is only fun for a short bit. Then it turns into you working with a very bad employee All in all. The game needs some work. I do not write reviews. But I’m so frustrated with this game I’m sitting here writing a stupid review. It’s more responsive than a civ 7 but damn it’s frustrating. Simply because the information in the game about what’s needed is not correct
Fun… but the crashing gets old
Change all of the graphics to the absolute lowest settings and the crashing will stop. Can’t enjoy the little things, but can at least enjoy a good game on mobile. One of the games that attracted me to Apple Arcade. Smooth gameplay for the first few worlds. Then the constant crashing begins….. And it is absolutely terrible. I have redownloaded this game about 5 times over the last 7 months, for absolutely no reason. Nothing has updated or changed to make a difference. Not like I have an old IPhone either 🤷♀️ it’s an absolute shame that the crashing is so consistent, otherwise it would be an amazing experience.

Pay to play Scam
Game works well but they shove in-app purchases down your throat. Gameplay comes to a grinding halt the moment you run out of money. Earn money by upgrading buildings and such but then you don’t have enough power for the new big buildings so you’ve got to upgrade power but there isn’t enough money for that either so you are either forced to play for 30 seconds at a time every 5-10 minutes (annoying way to play a game) or cough up real money to acquire one of the many different currencies they offer Keys, cash or simoleons. You’re guaranteed to be out of the one you need. Honestly disappointing for an Apple Arcade game and Apple should seriously consider removing it. Scam scam scam
Desperately seeking UI improvements
The zoom levels, basic movements of the camera, zoom levels, placement and adjustment, and zoom levels all need improvement. Some more than others, like zoom levels.

Amazing Game but just one issue!
I loved this game as soon as I installed it! I enjoy Story Mode and progressing through it by keeping the people in your city happy, ensuring they have enough water and jobs available and etc. I also love the free awards and pass that comes with Apple Arcade, which makes it much more enjoyable. The only issue thats bothering me is that if you don’t like how your city looks in any Story Mode chapter, you can’t just restart. You have to manually bulldoze all the buildings and roads individually which gets really annoying, especially when you are trying to improve it. Otherwise, I’m really enjoying this game and hope a reset option for individual chapters becomes a feature so players can rework their cities.
Fun, but super glitchy
This game has been the game I have enjoyed most in the Vision Pro… but it is super glitchy. I will try to place something and it won’t move. Things will just start wiggling or spinning. I can’t remove grass plots to put new items there. This is incredibly frustrating. I have kept restarting trying to get a few things done, but no luck. Finally I just quit and came here to write a review. Another weird thing is that, if I am sitting in a seat, when I open the game the city will appear in a circle on the floor. I can’t interact with it well at all there. What is the point of having it appear so far away when it is so small?
Inadequate zoom out
The zoom out is i adequate, even when maxed to 7 in the settings. It makes the game too tedious.

This game actually helps you and guides you for a better city. It’s not difficult nor confusing. I really love this game and I recommend you to play it

Great, but could be better
Love it! But there’s a major issue.
This is a great game to play, when it works. For the last week I have been playing for about 5 minutes and then the screen will just go white and the only way to get rid of this is by closing down the game and reopening it. It just keeps happening over and over. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling (I lost all my progress) and this still didn’t fix the issue, I’m not sure what else to do because it is just putting me off the game completely which is a shame.
WHY DOES IT KEEP CRASHING AND RESETTING???
I have been playing this game for a loooong time, I got all the story land unlocked and each one at level 50, one day it just stopped working, I decided to delete it and download it again, when I opened it all my work was gone… I took it as a “oh well let’s start over whatever” I start playing again from zero, all good until it started crashing again, I let the game be for a couple of days and now went back in and all of my work is gone AGAIN!!!! Please fix this, I’m so mad!!! Game keeps just exiting out without me doing anything and then it deletes everything…

Crash after crass after crash!
Like others I enjoy this game, but have noticed problems with conflicting information with regards to things like shoppers not being matched to shopping. However recently the game crashes every few minutes and is now totally unplayable.

Something to do when you need a distraction
Nice game. Recent updates have made the game buggy. Keeps crashing. Fix it and I will consider improving the rating. Update: despite promises of an update, still no fix for the crashes. You can play for 2 mins and the game crashes. Minus another star.
Fun but lacking
I enjoy playing this game to unwind although at times it becomes frustrating in early demands. Factories, shopping, nature, etc. needs to open up sooner as the highest demand for these is when your land area is minimal. Citizens, we need more jobs. You, I have 8 factories I cannot provide more because I have no place to build and I can’t build a bigger factory for two levels. Or, provide more sustainability. But I don’t have trees until level 21 and grass only gives so much The game has great potential but I feel more thought into growth demands and availability of things to reach those demands needs more balance. Such as trees at level 1 allowing upgrades based on level would go a long way. Or, factories/shopping that grew in size without merging but based on player level Kind of like the developers aren’t sure if they want a merge game or a city building game. The combination isn’t working well in the current state.
Years of progress wiped by crash!
I have played the game for a long time. It tends to crash every now and then which usually isn’t a big deal. Recently it crashed and when I restarted all of my progress was gone with no way to recover. I am crushed. No point in playing again if THAT is a possibility.

Latest update has wrecked the stability of this game. I love it. It’s brilliant. But having to reload the app every five minutes is tedious and making it unplayable. Basic stuff guys, get it sorted please!
Addicting for a week
Definitely was a ton of fun for the first few maps, but very repetitive. Would like to see more additions/challenges/buildings
CONSTANT CRASHING
I love this game as it’s a time sink, but it’s constantly crashing on new iPad m4 iOS 17.5. City has hit 500k, I think it’s a menery leak issue please fix!
Constantly crashing but fun when it works
I love city builder games and recently discovered this one for my iPad. It’s super fun for a fairly basic city builder with no mods, but it CONSTANTLY crashes. I had to disable a lot of the gameplay enhancements in order to get it to crash less, but it’s still a regular occurrence. Right now I’m dealing with a stuck loading screen. It loads half way and stops, so I may have to uninstall and reinstall if that won’t resolve. Please, please work on these issues. This could be such a fun game if it would just work consistently.
