App won’t login
Suddenly app logged me out and now keeps saying “Login session has expired. Please login again to continue using our services”. I’ve tried to recreate my account and I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and it still won’t work.
Bad App Worse Pool Cleaner
The Solar Panel has to be plugged in for it to charge, so what’s the point. The pool cleaner has successfully re-docked on its own two times in the last year. The dock connects to the app more often than the cleaner. I am constantly pulling it out of the pool to run it manually and recharge it. Not worth the expense. Creates more hassle. I compared the Viper and it cleans a little better for a fraction of the price.

Glitchy
I have had my WYBOT for 4 years now and got it on kickstarter. Having issues with it. Will not connect to the internet and it will not save a program. You have to set the Bot each time you clean the pool it defaults to clean walls only. I wish it would save the last setting so anyone could hit the power button twice and it would clean the entire pool. You can only use the Bot with the app.
Cannot control parking
Robot does a wonderful job but app does not give you any control on if robot parks in hardest area of pool to retrieve
Disregard Negative Reviews
The other negative reviews must be from people who don’t understand how to use the internet or phones and apps in general. Absolutely no problem clicking on the sign up button, entering your email and password, and logging into the app. Set up was as simple as turning on Bluetooth, discovering the vacuum and configuring your pool shape with a step by step configuration wizard. Then literally just put the vacuum in the pool and let it do its job.

If the app worked as advertised it would be great. Lots of features, lets you see the status of both your unit and the dock…it looks great. And then you realize that well over half the time it doesn’t work. Currently my unit is sitting on the dock, but the app shows it as “cleaning in progress.” It frequently gives me the option “back to charge” when it’s already on the dock receiving a charge. Often, the unit will sit on the dock for days on end, in full sun, and receive no charge at all. Frustrating. If it worked how it is supposed to it’s great. As it currently operates? I don’t think it’s worth the trouble.
Battery icon level too small
It works great for me. Only issue is even with my glasses on I still can’t read the battery percentage. There is plenty of room for it to be bigger so why so small ? Please enlarge it.
Very easy and straight forward
The other reviews were a bit discouraging but I had no issues logging in and using the robot. The app is very straightforward, it connects to the robot quickly and there are many cleaning options including cleaning the water service which I thought was pretty cool. I purchased the robot for my parents pool, they’re in their 70s and the app is easy for them to navigate which I love! (Plz don’t use Claude to shape up a new app this is perfect)
Worked in the beginning
The app and robot worked as advertised for about a month. Now, the app constantly disconnects. The worst part is that the robot stops in my deep end. I’ve taken the cleaning down to only twice weekly thinking that the additional time to charge would be handy. Nope. I have now fished it out of the deep end of my pool four times. Why did I buy this?!
Cautionary tales
In wall cleaning mode, the treads are pretty aggressive, especially when going over the spouts the return water to the two sides of the pool frequently changes the direction of their aim. Those are pretty easy to fix. However, when it climbed up the wall across the face of my light mountain in the wall. It pulled the unit out, breaking the top piece, which was clamping it in place before screwing it in at the bottom so that that’s a big problem for me. We have to quit using the light but that is OK because by the time it’s dark, it’s time for us to go to bed ha ha

my pool is extremely clean now
We purchased this unit to help keep our pool clean. And, it does a wonderful job. The only drawback is it has a two hour limit on the battery and once in a while, it gets hung up on the steps, but it eventually corrects itself. Overall, we are very pleased with this unit and would recommend buying it.
Cannot upgrade
Cannot get robot to Bluetooth and update the firmware.
It works fine
So far this app works fine for me. It gives me the control of the cleaning pattern and what parts of the pool get cleaned. Could it do more? Sure. I’m sure there are more expensive models that have even more control, features, or maybe order you lunch. This is very basic. This app gives me more control of the vac than my last pool vac which was none at all.
Logout and reset
This is the worst app I’ve ever had the displeasure of using! I am constantly being logged out and forced to sign in every single month! Resetting my password is impossible, they never send you the email with the stupid verification code! Your website and the app are steaming piles of garbage! Why is it so hard to make an app that’s user-friendly? Not to mention the robot itself, never finishes a full clean because the battery runs out beforehand every time we run it!

People gave a lot of bad reviews. Those seem to be old. I can control the Wybot fine as long as it is charged.

I can’t login to the app it keeps giving me an error message and the only way to use my robot pool cleaner is through the app. Ridiculous

Works Great So Far
It’s day 2 of owning a Wybot pool cleaner with the Wybot app and they are working flawlessly! Yes, the manual was written by someone with ESL but anyone can follow the directions and get past the language usage. I give it 2 thumbs up…WAY UP! 🤓
Login Expired
Can no longer login.. keeps throwing this error and the day before the wybot s3 stopped connecting to wifi.
odd app english grammar, bad robots
the app has weird misspellings and grammar issues when in english. the brand is also not reliable. the unit conveniently stopped working and holding a charge immediately after the warranty period ended. ultimately this app and its connected products are not worth your money
One season product
What a waste of hard earned money. The WYBOT lasted almost one season and now will not even power on. It charges but it won’t move in the pool anymore. Good luck with customer service.
Save money
I have C1 model and it’s a waste. Stupid machine can’t seem to stay on the ground. It would run for like 2-3 feet and for some reason the front side lifts up when there is nothing in front of it and decides to go the other direction. And this is on top of the damn machine not wanting to turn on half the time. Never buying another product from them after reading the similar issues customers have with theirs.
