DIGIMON
I’ve seen this game on Facebook and on the App Store never gave it a try until the Digimon crossover and honestly, I’m pleasantly surprised the game is pretty fun even if it didn’t have Digimon
Used to be great, everything great is gone
Story, character development, and strategy is why I used to love this game. The drop off in story after the ending of Gala’s story is immense. If you invested wisely you could build characters and strategies longterm, but they are now invalidated by the latest S+ unit Rolan. Everything is Rolan now. 90 player guilds from start to finish has been a complete lack of care or strategy, just throwing things on the wall and seeing what sticks. Not even one of my favorite IP’s (Digimon) can bring me back to what used to be my favorite mobile game for the past 2-3 years.

Too much going on.
Compared to the other AFK game. Theres too much going on in this game that it’s very confusing especially for new players. I’ve been playing few months and still confused on some of the stuff. There’s just too much to do and too much going on. Too many battle arena things you can do. Everytime you log in there’s like 30 things to claim. Everything on the game has a price tag that pops up. Yes you can play f2p but every update there’s something new to the game and it’s all confusing. You can do arena, guild battles, the story mode, theres like a boss daily battle you can do. Theres faction battles, theres EVERYTHING. I miss the old afk game where you could afk stuff for about 2 hours then get off your phone. This game you can play for 6 hours and still have daily stuff you can do and still miss daily rewards you didn’t get for doing such battles. Had to delete it.

The game is fun but got boring quickly for me. Story is ok. So 4 out of 5 stars.
Game is trash now
Bigger guilds have done NOTHING. Clashfronts is still a 30 player limit per guild. Supreme league is now the hit idea by Lilith to get big spenders their own game mode to flex on each other by showing how much they’ve spent.
Yea it’s fun but
It’s a fun game in the beginning and maybe I’ll stick it out but honestly it’s starting to feel like a chore. PvP which exist in like 3 different modes is all pay to win. The best characters are all locked behind a pay wall. Yea you can get them free but in my 3 months of everyday playing I only got 4 of them. You have to pull these characters many times to unlock there full potential. The story mode has been easy so no complaints there but everyday playing is becoming really boring.
Casual Friendly
Been a fan/supporter of AFK arena and have to say this game takes everything to a higher level! All the original characters are here and loving the current Digimon collab! Can’t wait to see some more events in the future. No Ads here. No stamina system! Tons of daily freebies!! Play and if you get stuck on a fight take a look at your map and explore as they’re tons of chests to open and treasures to find, once the map opens up it’s pretty awesome!!

I generally like this game, but I have an issue. Basically when I try to change the story line the game either freezes, or lags and then freezes. I tried repairing it but it did not change. Otherwise this is a good game.
Looks great but crashes every few seconds.
The App Store says it should work on this iPad. Admittedly, my iPad is old (5th generation, OS 26.5.2). But, if the App Store says it should work, it should work.
Why is it all co-op?
I just wanted a fun new idle game to play yet all of the events are co-op. As someone who hates co-op there are few events I can play. I also feel as if I am missing out on a ton of rewards due to my dislike of co-op which in a gotcha game full of art and characters I like, is disappointing. it’s getting three stars only because I really like the art.
DIGIMON!
I came for DIGIMON collab and the game has been pretty fun to play when you have nothing else to do! It is a little p2w but other than that interesting!

Fun but crashes so much
I’ve been playing 3 days so far but in that time I’ve probably crashed around a hundred times… sometimes the battles have too much stuff going on and it just force quits on me but other than that it’s pretty fun! Does have a bit of a difficulty jump at the end of the dark forest but it’s still manageable

Played for many months, best part was my guild members. Even more predatory than the hoyoverse gacha games just because there’s rankings in pvp and pve combined with power creep and crazy prices. Fix the Damian sneeze, the animation and sound aren’t synced lol.
Best RPG game I’ve played on mobile
Actually the best RPG game I’ve ever played on mobile, just fix the lag and some bugs like my character being stuck but other than that love this game
Unreason game modes
This game is literally called AFK journey but the developer made games mode that expected people to be active at a certain time during the day to participate. Most of those time are midnight where people need to sleep and work.
Guilds were ruined
The game is overall doing well in most things but they ruined guilds. Like, there aren’t any guilds I can get into now and the ones that I can are completely empty. I had to leave my previous guild since it had become a ghost town. The 90 limit increase seemed nice on paper but we are now at a point where guilds are unplayable.
Can’t even open the game, can’t contact support
Listen, when the game works,it’s lovely. It really is. The problem is that the game rarely works, at least for me. It used to be that it would crash about every 10, maybe 15 minutes, and I could somehow live with that. But now I can’t even open the game. Literally. No exaggeration. As there’s no contact for my support ticket available OUTSIDE OF THE GAME, I’m left wondering where to spend my increasingly limited time and frankly dollars, because I support game makers with my cash.
Love-hate relationship
I genuinely love AFK Journey, I truly do, however the recent developement choices are making me reconsider continue playing and paying for content. for example the removal / abscence of Voyage of Wonder, as well as Clan Reputation quests for the new season is highly concerning. These aren't just essential for F2P players, but Reputation questlines also gave us lore lovers of the game something to look forward to regarding the world building of Esperia. The shift towards more PVP is also very concerning - it's hard as is to develop and level characters, but the paywalls required to boost them are becoming way too much! Sidenote, buying skins should be more accessible - both for Merlin and Heroes. Trust and believe, if some of the hero skins from the Rosy store were behind a simple paywall, I'd pay for almost all of them - but I can't spend hundreds of dollars collecting the tiny mask thingamajigs for clothes I don't even want!

Graphics are great gameplay smooth, and the story is fun. An RPG that’s enjoyable to watch or play.
Bad game design for AFK
Poor decisions on game design really make it hard to play. Recent updates in guild system and guild events have driven many from the servers and there are many more dead guilds. New guild battle mode Clash of Glory requires at least 20 people in your guild to be online for an exact 10 minute period, if you are late you miss it and your guild can’t even claim territory against NPC defenders. It is absolutely terrible, frustrating and utterly defeating. Last straw for me.

Purchase Price Perilous
The game is great but watch out. They bill you WAY more for the bundles than advertised. I was billed 60.00 for a 20.00 bundle with no recourse at all…and NO. This is NOT just an amount hold. It was the final billed price. SO disappointing.
Crashs
When I open the game, it opens, but when I want to do things like navigating in the menus (ui), my game crash. I don’t know why it do that. Before, it didn’t happen (like months). But your game is amazing! I really like to play it, the content is great and I pretty like the graphics!
Disgusting ads
Come on man, the game is great, but what is it with the scummy, disgusting ads and the greedy game mechanics? You can do so much better than THIS…

Super buggy…
I bet this game would be fun, if I could play it for more than 90 seconds without it crashing. I even downloaded the full game file all at once (which took an AGE)— and it still takes a while to open and everything— but I haven’t managed to get through the tutorial yet! I’ve already hit the “repair” option from the start menu (not a great sign that the button is necessary) but that hasn’t helped. Womp womp

Many games has been fun but this one keeps me into the game which makes me play it more. There are great details in the game as well. Download the full version. I really like the game. I never write reviews for games but his one I think I’ll keep and invest in.
STOP USING AI
I used to play this game all the time along with afk arena it was my #1 time waster until I started getting bombarded with their AI ads!! I’m beyond disappointed, they work with so many talented artists AND cosplayers to turn around and do this!! Why do you use AI in your ads when that’s not at all what the gameplay is like? I loved the new characters until AI slop of them dancing and JIGGLING popped up, disgusting!! If your sales are so low that you have to literally wh*re out your characters with AI there’s something else you need to address!
Wishing/Gacha system
The game is amazing! Sometimes getting kicked out of the game but I think it’s because my phone isn’t a newer model. Though I hate the fact I can’t pull characters anymore as I’m constantly getting kicked out. And I have to constantly delete and redownload the app, the graphics is amazing and gameplay is amazing!
Why is it so big?
iPhone 11. Great game. Fun, creative. The graphics are lovely even on an older phone. I don’t understand its file size. It was nearly 15GB before I had to uninstall it. I honestly feel like it’s ripping ME as a free app. What are you running in the background??? Optimize, please!!
Opinion
I’ve been playing this game for some time now and honestly it’s not as bad as I thought. It has a good story and the gameplay is amazing. Though the characters have lots of detail when in third person it reminds me of those ads for simulator games. Some characters are a bit too revealing in my opinion and it’s easily pay to win. To get skins and other special things you have to pay or grind a hell lot of time.
A lovely idle game
AFK Journey is a game that doesn’t feel like a chore to play. In fact, you’ll be able to do much with your time while playing it. You can have it run in the background as you work. You can have it in your pocket as you get groceries. The worldbuilding isn’t the most in-depth, but it’s certainly fun. Play it. Just trust me. It’s a wonderful idle game that’s so much better than other idle games.

Something fishy here, why does this app need a dramatic amount of memory only to delete your save game the minute you close it! Deleted I have no use for fishy app
Love the Game, Hate the Micro-Transaction Price
The game is a ton of fun and it’s a game I would have payed to play. That being said, the price of the micro-transactions are way to high. $100+ for a package that barely contains anything and $30 for a single cosmetic is way too pricey. I would love to support them with a smaller purchase but there isn’t anything worthwhile that’s worth the price. If you have micro-transaction or not doesn’t matter in mobile but at least make them rewarding and reasonable, this is just crazy.

My Opinion…
I like the inclusivity of the furry community, the only downside is that you’re main character never does anything it’s sad really and also there’s no dating mechanic. I would really appreciate some love for the LGBTQA++ communities, but it doesn’t seem to be any of that in this game so that’s why it’s not right…
