Brilliant
At first I was a bit sceptical and suffered from the get closer aspect, but after deciding to steady my phone by resting it on the back of a chair it worked perfectly. Good app and I retried 3 or 4 times to make sure I was consistent and it was, so well done and thanks for a really useful app
Please stand still and look straight at the dot.
It keeps saying perfect now stand still and look straight at the dot. But, it doesn’t progress and doesn’t say anything till I open my eyes wide. Over multiple measurements it varies enough that I don’t trust it.

Does this work with iPhone 17 Pro Max?
Unable to get a ‘lock-on’ from this app when on the ‘place your head in the oval’ screen. Tried various artificial and natural daylight setups and phone mount solutions but no joy. Other apps in the AppStore work just fine and return PD results so don’t think it’s eye colour or iPhone distance/movement configuration issue.
May not be accurate
I repeated it 3 times to make sure it was accurate and got 3 different readings. Ended up repeating it about 10 times and went with the measurement I got most often. The measurements varied by about 2.5mm total so hopefully my glasses won't be off after I order them. But would recommend repeating a few times to make sure you get a reliable number.

Doesn’t work
Tried for 60 minutes, unable to get a single reading. Using brand new iPhone 16 pro max
On screen prompts
Can’t read the prompts telling me to tilt phone or anything only verbal were it’s too far/close had to put on glasses to read then take them off again change my angle while balancing a card on forehead holding the phone in two hands? I needed 3 hands to do this as gravity is a thing.
Needs Improvement
Consider yourself “fortunate” if you’re able to get the app to work correctly in less than 5 attempts. 😒 The two times I was finally able to get it to work, it gave me two different distances… 69 & 70.5

Using an iPhone 16 pro max you can’t possibly calibrate it. Doesn’t work at all
Accurate?
I’d question the accuracy of this application. I know and have used my PD measurement of 65 for glasses over the past 10 years but this application states it’s 68. 3mm out but makes all the difference. I’d double check before relying on this app 100%.

I simply love this app
This app makes it so easy to measure your PD. I have tried myself, yet without wearing glasses, it difficult to accurately place and read the ruler. With this app, it was easy, breezy, lemon, squeezy. Try it and you will see just how easy it is to get your PD.
Waste 15 mins just trying to align my eyes
I’m wearing prescription glasses and I can’t see clearly without my glasses. The apps require impossible perfect alignment to measure the pd value, but I am not able to do that without my glasses. Very frustrated. I will just use a mirror and ruler I guess.
Have time to use it
The scan takes way too long. I don’t have enough patience to put up with it.

Not working at all
Impossible to use
Impossible to get a scan with the 16-May-2026 version. Calibration is impossible, with *very* slight millimeter-level phone movements being called too close or too far. If you manage to achieve the correct distance, the slightest movement will quickly cancel the scan countdown and send you back into the endless calibration process. It would probably be easier if they allowed you to set your phone down and adjust your head position, but the app currently requires a specific tilt angle, requiring you to hold your phone in your hands.
