Visitor

Terrible. Doesn’t log in, forced to use to get tickets. Waste of time.

Great app but still some room for improvement.

A must download if you’re visiting Pleasure Beach Resort! The app is fast, efficient and aesthetically pleasing with the new ICON background and photos next to the ride queue times looking great. As a season pass holder, it is so simple to book tickets for the date of visit too and accessing photos on the app is also really easy. The What’s On feature is brilliant at keeping up to date with On-Park entertainment. In terms of improvements, I’d like to a live interactive map similar to Liseberg, Europa Park and other theme park apps. Additionally, seem as though you scan your e-ticket at the ride turnstiles, it noted what rides you’ve done that day. Whilst not necessarily important for myself as a season pass holder but for guests wondering what rides they’ve done it’d be quite a nice feature. Potentially they could add links to PBRs social channels too and the ability to book shows/events that day on the app. Overall, very efficient and easy to use!

P

Terrible system of allocating e-tickets with speedy tickets. Managed to miss book the number f e-tickets and speedy passes. Ordered another ticket but you can’t assign the orphaned speedy ticket to the new ticket- rubbish

Needs a map!

The app is okay, nothing amazing but wow could it do with a map! It’s good that season pass holders can book through the app but other than that it feels rather redundant with unreliable queue times and not much else to offer, please update!!! This could be an amazing app!!

Worked well

Had no problem with the app. But had 5 kids and it’s wiser to get printed ticket for them so they can go on the rides themselves. Call at the Guest centre and get them.

Hate this app

Incredibly angry that the web route of activating tickets doesn’t work (coincidence?) so I had to install this horrible app to do it. Why do you need me to have an account? Why on earth do you need a selfie? You used to be able to opt out of data mining. I pray for your downfall

Not very polished

Daft app that could be so much better. For a party of 2 it creates a group of 3, duplicating one of the people. Makes everything just a bit difficult.

Horrible

Nothing works. App doesn’t recognise details or order number. At the top it says download new app. Click it takes me right to the same app. I only downloaded it today. Not a fan of PPB and this isn’t helping.

— Melee28

★★☆☆☆ United Kingdom · v3.0.1 · 21 Nov 2024

Needs an update

Please update your app, you need a picture for an e ticket for some reason, the queue times update hourly so are almost always unreliable and for some reason there is no map inside the app unlike all the other uk theme park apps.

Brilliant app!

Love the new update and the overall change of the app. When it first launched you could tell they were going to change it eventually and wow! Love the aesthetic it matches the resort theme perfectly

terrible

terrible app they replaced the wristbands with this absolute garbage of an app forcing you into getting it then forcing you into sending a photo of yourself on the app which is so unnecessary or they’ll give you a paper ticket which can easily get wet, i would highly recommend that you don’t even bother going to blackpool pleasure beach until this is sorted it, don’t change something that already works (wristbands).

Why

Had to ask an employee where a ride is instead of looking at the map in-app.. as there isn't one. Most embarrassing event in my whole life, thanks!

Finally an app

And what an app it is. Visited recently and this app came in very hand and was very accurate with the queue times. It was so easy to use this app should’ve been done long ago. But happy that it is here now!

★☆☆☆☆ United Kingdom · v3.1.1 · 1 Sept 2025

Clunky way to get tickets

Ridiculous process for getting tickets - data mining by the company and presumably selling details on. Not a good start to a visit to the seaside.

App doesn’t work

I’ve have been trying for the past 3 days on my device as well as other peoples devices We are unable to upload a picture in order to claim our E-tickets. I have tried to delete the app and re-download however even after deleting the app when I re-open it I am still logged in even though it says it “deletes data” when you delete the app Needs a massive update and issues resolving in order to use this app!

★☆☆☆☆ United Kingdom · v3.0.9 · 19 Aug 2025

Invasion of privacy

I should not be required to upload photos to claim tickets already paid for. You should also be able to send tickets claimed to others to use on their phone. They should be a difference between claiming and activating your tickets, so you can claim tickets send it to someone and they activate it.

Glitchy as hell

Wow. Never used an app as bad as this!! SO glitchy. Couldn’t log in, so had to create new account as ‘forgot my password’ was unresponsive. Got into it to claim tickets and apparently you have to add a photo (weird?!) but that glitched too and wouldn’t work with allowing access to camera to take a pic, or accessing photos. Neither would work, so couldn’t claim tickets. Useless. BPB please update!!!!!

Great idea for an app to improve the visit

Works great, keeps me up to date with all information about my visit and what’s on that day

— james_cox11

★☆☆☆☆ United Kingdom · v3.0.8 · 9 Jul 2025

Great app ruined by stupidity

Good app and works great HOWEVER mandatory to take pictures of yourself and children in order to get your tickets is the craziest and stupidest thing I’ve ever seen for today’s standards. As result to that the app gets 1 star. Just take that stupid feature off.

— JamieMitchell15

★★☆☆☆ United Kingdom · v2.1.3 · 1 Aug 2024

Desperately needs an update

I’ll start with the positives. The photo system works well and the e-tickets seemed reliable for me. However. This app DESPERATELY needs 2 things. Firstly, a map is essential, even if it’s not interactive. it should be a standard issue really. Secondly, my experience in the park was made much worse due to the app only updating queue times once per hour. For something that is competing with the likes of Alton Towers/Thorpe Park in terms of coasters, food and prices, the app is certainly the most behind of all the major UK theme parks

— a catboy

★☆☆☆☆ United Kingdom · v3.0.8 · 4 Jul 2025

Last trip to Blackpool because of this app

How dare you require photos of all the people visiting, which was not a requirement to purchase the tickets in the first place?? Huge violation of privacy. Other theme parks don’t need this. The app is a huge waste of time, and very buggy. Causes so much more hassle than anywhere else. Will be the last trip to Blackpool for us, solely due to this app and invasion of privacy. Good riddance Blackpool pleasure Beach!

No map?

Why no map? Surely that would be the point of an guide app of the theme park.

— Kjay1000

★☆☆☆☆ United Kingdom · v3.0.8 · 22 Jun 2025

Needs lots of work

App works for tickets but is very poorly written. On opening the app you are presented with a number of options. The name of these options does not sit on the button correctly, instead the two line names overflow the area and is partially hidden on the background. Additionally, on the iphone, you can not scroll to reveal the full last button making it impossible to see what its for.

— Scraps2482

★★☆☆☆ United Kingdom · v2.0.2 · 10 Sept 2023

What’s the point?

It is easy enough to navigate but I’m not sure what the point of it is. We only used it to scan our tickets to get on the rides which we could have done with screenshots of the QR codes. The ride wait times didn’t seem that accurate and there isn’t a map which would have been useful.

Takes ages to open and use it’s pathetic

— bjjbeastlad

★★☆☆☆ United Kingdom · v2.0.0 · 26 Jul 2022

Could be a lot better

There is no map, no decent information about the rides such as ride height. It’s handy to have for the e tickets and show times but that’s about it
