Good but with glitches
Update 5/10/26: the final stage of the Greek campaign (I assume it's final - after you deliver the Trojan horse) is broken. If you lose your crown, the game doesn't let you restart, and the menu is gone. So you have to force quit the game and reload. What's more, the stage doesn't even make sense - wth are you supposed to do?? I've paid coins to all the structures, but the middle doesn't get built, and the workers just walk around. On top of that, I didn't know what I was getting when I paid off the horse to enter, so I don't think I was fully prepared. And since you can't exit the stage, ever, I'm completely hosed. Ridiculously frustrating/annoying/stupid stage in an otherwise great game. (End update) Wth? All my latest saved games were deleted with the latest update! And because apple store is horrible, my original review was completely deleted just because I included one abbreviated swear word (same as above but with an "f" 🙄). The language filters on these reviews are stupid. Basically my review said the game is good except for occasional glitches.

Its an amazing game don’t get ne wrong
But I’m just running around throwing coins at things hoping its what I’m supposed to update because the tutorial was short and only a little helpful in my opinion
This game is awesome I played it when I was young
But something that would really improve the game is if you could enter the castle. Anyway, love the game. Anyone who loves survival games, get this
Repetitive
When you spend nearly all your money on a boat that basically just resets your progress and for some reason just randomly dissipates into the air so you have to build it again just to get back to the progress you’ve been working on an hour for is genuinely one of the most repetitive things you could have done

The game is amazing, please just add multiplayer support that’s not on one device, across multiple device multiplayer please then it would be a 5 star

A title
So much blah and simple blah. So much read a strategy guide and spoil the game or restart. zero control over own files. Glitchy and laggy for zero reason. Could have been a great idea.

Beautiful game, please make a real tutorial. Also, on the Fenrir challenge thingy, the wolf lunge is really finicky. I would suggest a beastiary-looking UI with 1-2 sentences on what each structure and person does. Also, with the bomb finish thingy, please explain that you don't want to be in the blast zone because my idiot self thought I was fine as long as the builders were behind me (RIP my 100 days)
Graphics clearly designed for a computer, not a good fit for iOS.
The game looks interesting as I love strategy games. The graphics are so poor for iOS that I cannot understand what is happening. All of the characters and action objects are timy and pixelated to the point they cannot be made out. If they re-release this with a “blown up” version I will try again.

Can’t stop playing
Absolutely love this game! I could easily spend hours defending my kingdom. The only thing that can make this the absolute best is if Kingdom Two Crowns was supported on Apple Arcade TV.
No autosave when you switch apps!
It autosaves only sporadically, unless you manually go into the main menu and save. So switch out to another app a moment and you risk losing ten minutes or more of progress. Bizarre and infuriating.
ADDICTIVE
I’ve put a lot of hours into this game and it is so much fun, i do wish the devs would add keyboard support though which is why im writing a review to begin with I’ve been playing on my IPhone for months, and just tried it on my iPad and i had a keyboard set up and it dawned on me THIS SHOULD WORK BECAUSE ITS ON PC…. I was wrong very very wrong so now im kinda sad and wanna play this on the iPad with a keyboard but can’t lol so please add that support for keyboards
Ist solide, mehr nicht
Ich habe dem Spiel nun mehre Chancen gegeben und verschiedene Durchläufe probiert. Es ist nicht schlecht, die Grafik und das Sound Design sind wundervoll, leider finde ich den Gameplay Loop extrem langweilig. Es ist einfach unglaublich repetitiv. Man läuft nach rechts, gibt Münzen aus und kriegt neue Münzen, dann läuft man nach links, gibt Münzen aus und bekommt neue Münzen und das immer und immer und immer wieder. Es ist natürlich auch möglich, dass ich nicht die Zielgruppe bin und dem Spiel mit meiner Bewertung unrecht tue, da der Großteil anderer Bewertungen äußerst positiv ist. Ich denke, ich werde dem Spiel irgendwann nochmal eine weitere Chance geben, in der Hoffnung, dass ich vielleicht dann von dem Charme dieses Spiels erfasst werde, aber bis dahin bleibt meine Meinung.

Managed to get decently far before I’d encounter such intense lag it would impact my entire device for minutes after closing the game

The person who I’m talking about is way too hard to give a coin to and for some reason now it just has a limit of three and you need to fix this also I saw somebody get a coin and I couldn’t get it back

Inexplicable glitches
Maybe the most beautiful pixel art I’ve ever seen. Also, deceptively simple—only complicated by the fact that there is no tutorial, no explanation, no tool tips for what things are, etc. But you can run back and forth until you figure it out. Rendered more or less unplayable by bizarre glitches, like NPCs disappearing. You can carry on your mount NPCs that do special upgrades. Seems to be the only way to get them back and forth to different islands. Except sometimes they vanish. It’s annoying that they occasionally jump off your mount (presumably out of fear?), and you have to pay a coin to get them back. But sometimes they vanish from the island completely. You have to rebuild a boat and sail back to where they came from to rehire them. The worst glitch I’ve found so far (and the one that prompted me to leave a review) is the disappearance of all the builders. It doesn’t matter how many recruits I bring into town, the hammer rack is full. I’ve marked trees for chopping, paid to upgrade walls and arrow towers. The ship is a husk, unable to be completed. This was the thing that finally forced me to resort to scouring the internet—maybe I was missing some vital step. Maybe I’d inadvertently marked all the town’s inhabitants as warriors. As far as I can tell, the internet says the only way to move forward is to give up my crown. :(

Horrible
Worst AI I’ve ever seen, why do my builders go across the map to fix a wall when there’s a closer dude already on it. Why is there no priority or proximity for targets, they just do as they please. No point in being a ruler when nobody does what you say.
Amazing game but hard
Such a great game, one of my favorites but as I got to the fifth island, there was a red blood moon and a ton of hard monsters came to my island and I died so it deleted all of my progress and I had to start over. It’s kind of unfair because all of your little people are kind of don’t do that much damage and you wish you could fight but you can’t so there’s no win and all you do is die and lose everything but otherwise great game love the music and animation, but sometimes doesn’t make sense.
Next title can be kingdom: bugs
Obviously all the developmental effort is spent on adding content and graphics. No attention is paid to making the game solid, consistent or bug free. There’s no manual in the game so it’s not very approachable or even understandable what’s going on. The little flying Follow Me man reminds me of clippy. And not in a good way.

Addictive, fun but not challenging
Ok so I’m on normal mode night 40 and I don’t find it challenging at all but I want the option for the king too attack with a sword and shield while on his mount also a bow apart from monarch abilities because it’s very cowardly for a king to not fight
No cross platform saves.
They advertise “Kingdom Two Crowns now supports continuing your save on any other device or platform you own the game on.” But this version does not have this feature.

Too many bugs ruin this game
The game itself is pretty awesome and can be addictive. However, without the adequate maintenance and updates, the bugs have made it so unbearable that I am giving the game a two stars rating. Literally, those bugs have wasted me hundreds of hours as the saved records are lost or broken. When you encounter this normal issue, there’s no way to continue the game or even start a new one. The only way is to completely uninstall the game and also remove all the data stored in your iPhone. Next, you reinstall the game and hope that you may finish the game this time. For the love of this type of games, I also purchased their latest product. It is overall not as good as this one but at least doesn’t have many bugs.

Fun Game
Fun game! My only request would be to pleeeaaase create a multiplayer option! Co-op doesn’t like to work with this tiny screen and a few hundred miles, so having online multiplayer would be a great addition!

LEMME PREFACE FIRST: I love this game. I love that you can build a city to fortify and defend. I love that you can take people in and give them jobs. It’s absolutely GORGEOUS. I love the marriage between resource management and strategy. The fantasy elements are cool. There’s a lot going for this game My only major gripe is how expanding to other lands is executed I think it’s a cool concept in an already fun game. But it’s frustrating to feel like you spent all this time on coins and resources, only to essentially be basically back where you started *Instead*, maybe you could be able to bring some of your men with you, along with your boat not breaking. That way, you get that feeling of expanding your horizons without feeling like you have to sacrifice the progress you’ve already made I highly doubt that the team are reading this. But if you are, keep doing what you’re doing and thank you for your time ☀️
Buggy
Ipad pro 2020. Had game breaking bugs twice. Ship not registering so cant add coins. Also, some walls should be built but stay under construction permanently. Fun game though.

Love this game but can’t play now
After the latest update, my game now just crashes whenever I try to launch a new game ):
Freezes and loads every few seconds. Can’t continue
Every time I land in the last island, it loads every 15 seconds. I can’t continue at all after. But I have beaten 2 versions of it with no problem, until now. My update is current.

Would be great but..
I played this for ages and then the little ghost who is supposed to be helpful kept on leading me to my death. I restarted the game and it’s gone funny, some of my progress is there and some is not like the timeline got mixed up.

Amazing game! I’ve been playing this for around a year now. I find it relaxing and not a hard game to play. Even after all these months I still find new things. I am really digging the shogun though!

after playing for a while you’ll get an infinite loop of loading screen, then it lets you play for about 10 seconds, then loading screen. very frustrating.
Good game
It's a super fun game to binge-play. Gems are more challenging to receive than I would like, but that does make the game entertaining—several different modes and difficulty modes. I love the Norseland one the most. I wish there were some more variety in the graphics, but it does make sense for the graphics to be the way they are. Hope to see more options for the dog in the future, for example, a variety of species and a variety of colours/breeds, and when you get deeper into the game, like Island Four, perhaps the animals could gain support-based powers like a speed boost shortly or one could shot a single shot at a greed. Excited to see how this game evolves!
Zoom deaktivieren (iPad)
Ich würde gerne den Zoom deaktiveren. Wenn man schon so ein großes Display hat, möchte man es auch nutzen. 😕 Davon ab wäre es schön, wenn man die Tastatur bzw zumindest die Cursortasten nutzen könnte.
Very fun but some annoying bugs
1: If you try and change the Monarchs appearance during the initial loading screen the game will not load. Only resolution is to exit the app and reload the game. This makes choosing the characters appearance pretty annoying. 2: sometimes the game will start in portrait mode so that only the very centre of the screen is visible. Rotating the phone to landscape does not seem to fix it either.
