Great wallet App
An extremely useful app… And to whoever built and coded this app… awesome job.
Complete Scam
Don’t waste your time with this. I read about it in Stuff Magazine who said it was free. The app locks and requires payment after you’ve loaded 3 cards. I’ll let Stuff Magazine know as well.
The best available by a good way, but expensive
The bad: Instructions and guidance for adding event tickets that occur on a specific date isn’t there. It doesn’t explain how to set one up or what the field expiry date and relevant date are and how they affect things. Also the time you added it seems to affect when they display, rather than being able to put in a time as well as a date. So I find adding boarding passes or event tickets have to be added as store cards and to manually go into the app to find and display them. There are also some minor annoying quirks with the UI but these are minor and not difficult to cope with The good: It’s very good. The best of ours kind on the App Store. Does all you need for any barcodes apart from as mentioned above. Regular updates on the developer.

FALSE ADVERTISING
Image for app says “store all your cards!!” It does not allow you to store more than 3 without paying. It also removes any cards you’ve exported to Apple wallet if you remove from app or remove their app. USELESS!!
Too slow to transfer
In general the app looks great. I work retail and I have to get a new QR code daily. The problem is that it takes too long to transfer. Too often the transfer does not take place fast enough to use it. I have another app that is fast enough I just wished this app was faster.
Import from Klarna?
One of the images on this app's App Store listing says "Easy import from Stocard, Klarna and more." Define "easy", because I can't find a way to do it. Oh, all right, now I've consulted the help and found that you have to take a screenshot of each card in Klarna in order to import it into Barcodes. That's what you call "easy"? I dunno. I've actually gone ahead and paid for the unlimited version so I could add more cards. But now that I've gone through the arduous process of adding more cards (it's not easy unless you have the physical card), I don't understand why I would use this app over Apple Wallet. Might be time to ask the App Store for a refund.
Really excellent
I added a new card, but they didn't have the logo - requested it, and less than 24 hours later they'd added it and sent me personalised email. Impressive.

Crashing
The app crashes when I go to Settings → iCloud & Brand Logos. On iOS 17.
Bait and switch
It looks free until one enters a fourth card, then subscription is required. Don’t bother trying this app unless you’re prepared to pay a subscription fee.
Almost perfect
This does exactly what I needed to do. I was able to add my gym membership to my wallet and the UI was very simple. The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because the barcode on the card is too small to scan. If this were fixed I would happily purchase the full version.
Worth it!
Barcodes has been such a refreshing relief since my previous loyalty card app was bought out and imploded. It works smoothly between my iPhone and Apple Watch, giving me the solution I need in every circumstance. As always with the best apps, great customer service whenever you need something, including adding logos that were missing. The light up feature is so useful when scanning in stores. Highly recommended.

Great App! Worth the price.
This app does exactly what I need. It gives me convenient access to loyalty cards. It can interface with Apple Wallet, but I use it to provide quick and convenient access to my loyalty cards without unlocking Apple wallet and my credit cards. I’m a Støcard/Kląrna refugee. I took screenshots before deleting those apps and used the import from photos to load them into Barcodes. This a paid app. None of your data is re-sold to fund it. Your data is only stored in the cloud if and where you want it. Update: I now have an Apple Watch. The watch integration works well. I don’t need to take out my phone to access cards and the barcodes scan correctly whenever I use it.

No mention in the App Store page that it only stores 3 cards before you have to pay for a subscription.

Charges for more than 3 cards — use Supercards app instead
I used to use Stocard, which closed down and left customers only with the option to move to Klarna or to lose their cards. Klarna is terrible and doesn’t allow you to add any cards that don’t belong to a corporate or retail company (eg library cards). I transitioned to Barcodes but was disappointed to find that it charges you for adding more than 3 cards. I have now transitioned to Supercards which did exactly what Stocard used to do, and is free.

I’ve been using this app for some time now and it’s amazing, all my loyalty cards in one place. No rifling through websites and apps looking for your loyalty cards it’s so convenient

Die App ist top und perfekt, wer seine digitalen Karten immer dabei haben will, ob auf dem iPhone oder auf seiner Watch. Der Entwickler ist sehr bemüht. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung!

Feature-rich App, and Responsive Dev!
I have never left a review for an app before, but I need give a major shout out to Jake. I have requested the most niche brand logos in the past two weeks and he has promptly added them to the app. Besides that, I have been able to use the app for my gym and library cards, which has been a HUGE convenience. The ability to sync with Apple Wallet is the cherry on top.
Loyalty cards are not working on watch ultra2
Very frustrating tried everything not working , need a refund.
Disappointed alittle
Tesco club card imports from camera and 3 screenshots incorrectly, barcode is completelly off from the original one. Works on other cards though. Would've bought, but this ruined the experience in the app for me. Tried different code settings did not help either. The code just misses lines even if when the number is entered manually :-(.
Be weary
Started off great, adding 3rd card then you get notified there’s a monthly subscription. Developers , be upfront!!!

I’m willing to pay. But the shortcut via shortcuts app seems to be broken. This will really streamline my shopping.

Great replacement for StoCard!
I have been looking for a replacement for StoCard since Klarna replaced it with their much less functional app. This one works well! Will update after I try it in stores.

Works fine I suppose, UI needs some work, everything is misaligned or cramped or is just in a weird place logically and you can only add 3 cards to Apple wallet even with premium, not sure what the point is then if I can’t store everything in one place conveniently, have the feature or don’t, stocard didn’t limit the amount in wallet so I know it’s not a limit Apple is enforcing. Won’t be paying further until some common sense is injected.
Easy, helpful and great support
I love this app! It stores all my various passes, syncs with Apple wallet and my Apple watch, and the devs respond quickly. Honestly, 10/10 and am grateful for an app that's easy to use and solves a big problem. I think I scan it every week between the gym, Costco and all the other places we go that I have my passes stored.
I want it so badly to work. Just is not happening
Can not get lifetime subscription from the App Store. Will not pay 2.00 per month forever. Had a difficult time inputting cards. Many havr been rejected at stores. Can not get family sharing to work. Have been playing for over 10 days
