What people like
- The vinyl visuals look really cool
- It feels nostalgic and relaxing to use
- You can customize how the records look
- The home screen widgets are fun
What they complain about
- Pop-ups block you from using the app
- You must pay to actually use it
- It drains battery and heats up your phone
- The animation feels choppy and laggy
Aesthetically Pleasing and Funtional
Buy it! It’s worth it! First, 10/10 visual appeal and I think it’s sick you can customize the vinyls! Second, the Home Screen widgets are fun too, the radio is my favorite one. Last, this is cute and it works great but I wish I had more access to Apple Music and more than what’s in my library. *Please consider me in early access, and it would be even sicker if there was Apple TV support!
A Skin for Streaming Services
I don’t know many people that still want to use Spotify or Apple Music. A lot of people are moving away from these streaming services to dedicated DAPs or apps that play FLAC, WAV, MP3, etc. The fact that this app is only a skin for another app and has zero ability to play music files is insane to me.
Aesthetic Battery Killer
I have the paid version of this app and it looks great, and does what it says it does. I would otherwise not recommend because it massively heats up my device + the battery drains even when it’s plugged in with brightness down :(
Nostalgic Perfection
Great app and amazing audio AND visual user experience
Why?
I don’t think you should have to pay a lot or anything at all. Also, you have to pay for premium to even use the widget? What? Bad app, never using again.
Really great app if a little expensive
I paid for the lifetime membership as I had the money and I like the aesthetic. It looks lovely, and if you don’t mind the cost it’s a brilliant app. The only other thing I’ve seen an issue with is that the widget spins a little slowly. Other than that, it’s excellent!
It’s really god but ton’s of Ad’s
The app is really good with the vinyl visuals but there tons of ads and many pop ups demanding to watch ads and you can’t click off of it. App is good with visuals but it demands money for you to do half the things that was advertised in the add. App is really good but the pop ups every 30 seconds is out of hand.
Wow my fav!
I live this app!! ♡(*´ω｀*)/♡
Me encanta
Not for free :(
I downloaded this app from a recommendation on Instagram. Thought it was a cool, pretty, and aesthetic concept. Tried using the app for 10 seconds, but the pay wall screen keeps on popping up with no way of clicking out of it. I understand it’s only 15 dollars, but this app not something I would spent money on. Even so, the free version should still be useable, which it absolutely is not. TLDR: Cool concept, pay wall makes it unusable, free version not useable at all.
Its cool
Very vintage yet digital, like it AND it’s free!!!
Too many ads
You need a subscription to get the stuff you want, and whenever you pretty much tap the screen, there is a subscription ad.
Cool with a major inconvenience
Great aesthetic! Would have been a lot better if you were able to freely search all of Apple Musics domain instead of having to add to library. The ability to go to artists pages is cool but way too hard to access
Justice
So good

Perfect when on a MagSafe stand
This app is great for a little nostalgia especially those of us that are still enjoying older audio formats. A request, variable speeds? I’d like the “record” to actually spin 33’3rd, 45, and 78 speeds like a real record would. Have you considered making a CD and a MiniDisc appearance?
Only 2 music providers
Can only connect to Spotify or Apple Music it seems. Don’t get if you don’t use evil apps.
Kindaa
Why can’t I listen to the music without subscription 😭? I mean what i see on instagram that people use it normally without paying but mine dont let me even use the app properly
Love
Love the app
Didn’t work
Asked me to pay to use I said no I went to check it out I went to pay for it option was gone. It said that I could do it if I watched the ad. I got 10 free songs, but they didn’t work and it made me watch an ad every single time I changed this song only let me use one song per record
Good but not that good
Honestly it’s a good app I’m ngl but it’s m also not gonna sugar coat it it’s good but I don’t think the price is right I think it he price should be lower but over it’s a pretty good app
Good app
It’s a good app but I don’t like when it tells me to upgrade while im looking at the music that’s playing
Müq

To many payments needed for something so stupid
Sucks horribly whoever had this idea must be mentally impaired
It’s kinda good
The app is pretty good, but the ads are quite annoying tbh, Spotify does the job just as well so this perfect for aesthetics I guess
This app is good, but why do I have to pay? It wants us to pay,
I think there should be an app where it’s just free
good

After a few months of usage
As someone who loves music and Vinyls this app is very fun to use and cute. Although, I would recommend to purchase the one time 15$, for it allows freedom to all of your music. The music in the app comes from your primary music source (Apple Music/Spotify) and HAS to be saved or in a playlist to show up on this Vinyl app. Overall this app is mainly a good usage for aesthetics, if that is not your preference just stick with your regular music apps!
YouTube music
We all don’t have Apple Music because we have to pay for it instead y’all should do it on YouTube music
Pretty Good these days
Vastly improved over the months, great for a quick share of music to followers on Instagram and Threads.
👎🏻
Le doy 2.5 porque tienes que pagar
Would like to see this remedied.
Biggest complaint is I can’t pick and choose which playlists or albums go into this app. It just syncs my whole Apple Music library automatically and that’s very overwhelming. Not to mention, not storage friendly. Love the concept of this app but that what led to my offloading it twice.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🫶🏻
Great app! ★★★★★ Beautiful app with a unique vinyl-inspired experience. It makes listening to music feel nostalgic, relaxing, and special. One of my favorites! 🎶
Looks cool but I’m not paying
There should be a free trial but you’re expected to pay £12.99 straight away. Not many apps do this, you get a free trial first. Going to delete it. Shame.
Needs Mac support!
Guys. Love the app. It does lag sometimes but overall love the app. You need to put it on Mac too please! I’ve seen other apps do it, but MD on mac would be amazing’
Why only three out of 5
You have to pay a songs
Minreseña
Me gusta el ap
…
This app is so overrated
it’s really nice but
the frame rate is pretty low, doesn’t feel smooth
MD Vinyl
It's confusing and very crazy and that you have to pay it's supper annoying and makes the experience not cool
Glitch
Love the vibe! But the app keeps on glitching everytime I tap into it from my to home screen to change songs
AMAZING
I love this app so freaking much! It has all my favorite music and it is so frickin cool!
Don’t waste your time
Don’t download if you don’t want to spend money because there is no free version only paid
Great app
This is a great app. Would be five stars if the app would force the system to stay open when music is paused. As it is when paused the phone will lock inline with its settings. I would like to see an option to override this.
Wayyy to expensive
…
It’s nice
It’s good love the way you can use it but it don’t want to buy the apple music subscription .
