What people like
- Huge variety of promotions for one low price
- Excellent value and massive content library
- Smooth interface with high resolution video
What they complain about
- No native Apple TV app support
- iPad landscape mode is broken or missing
- Chromecast casting often buffers or cuts out
Best Wrestling App
This is far and away the best streaming app to watch pro wrestling. It’s also the best value with the variety of promotions that are featured.
An iPhone app that only supports chromecast
It’s pretty bad. Why even bother releasing an iPhone app if it doesn’t support airplay? But it supports chromecast??? Please leave. And in case anybody is wondering, it’s been like this for at least two years, and they’ve still not bothered to add it or improve anything
Best Value in Wrestling
Wrestle Universe is undoubtedly THE BEST value in Wrestling websites with multiple promotions available on one platform. I appreciate that the site is accessible in English and some of the promotions have English commentary monthly. I have only one critique: that the major promotions don’t have a COMPLETE back catalogue.
The best wrestling streaming platform
Tons of amazing content, smooth interface, high res on all devices, great playback features…it’s the best.
Unable to cast
App is not able to cast to Apple TV.
Must-Have for Hardcore Puroresu Fans
one of the better wrestling streaming options for puroresu fans, offering a strong roster of promotions and solid streaming quality. Its interface and TV casting options lag behind some competitors, and international accessibility is limited by language support — but for the price and content, it’s highly recommended for dedicated fans.
Casting to TV Limited
The content is great, but it can only be cast to a TV via Chromecast. Links don’t work so you can’t use an app like TV Cast. There is no app for services like Roku. Great wrestling, very limited viewing options.
Wrestling Fanatic!
WrestleUniverse has so much to offer & you get your money’s worth for sure.
iPad view is locked up and down - no landscape. Trash
WHO THE IS WATCHING THIS ON THEIR PHONE???? PUT IN LANDSCAPE MODE YOU TRASH DEVS. Fire these people so their families starve. You can’t turn the IPad to landscape mode when looking for matches. App is a buggy mess
Great App
Great app for fans of CyberFight and other companies. Kind of annoying that DDT gets priority over TJPW (I only watch the latter), but oh well
Noah’s Opinion ON WRESTLE UNIVERSE
I Absolutely Highly Recommend This App For People Who Want To Get In Japanese Pro Wrestling and Even For The People Who Love Puroresu Like Myself PRO WRESTLING NOAH Especially Greatest Wrestling Promotion Ever
Disappointed
They made me buy a paperview with ads, which I don't mind. But I go back to watch it again.... AND IT SAYS THERE WAS A VIEWING PERIOD ON SOMETHING THAT I PURSCHASED. They make you use your hard earned money just so they can deny you of the permanent service you thought you were getting. And this must've been a hidden foot note in a nonexistent place because not nowhere before buying did it say this would only be a limited period buy. It is almost as if I were renting a paperview... I am extremely disappointed in this app and will never try to use it again.
If you watch WWE or AEW
Expand your mind, get the service, it’s worth it!
Good to watch wrestling, but with annoying bugs
In general I used the app to watch TJPW, but it has a variety of content and that I believe that everyone can like. In general I don’t have any issues in using it, but there are two things that annoy me. The first one is that airplay or screen sharing doesn’t recognize my devices even though I have it enable and testing with other apps, my devices showed up. The second one is that the app doesn’t support landscape mode, I wish they could work on it because I normally use my iPad to see content and I set landscape mode as default.
Apple TV
Can we get a Apple TV app
Chromecast
Chefdad2000
This app is worth every yen. There is soooo Much variety and just too much to watch in one lifetime. The addition of Marigold is fantastic but my favorite will always be TJPW Viva La Maki Itoh
Good but not for larger devices
App is great for the iPhone but it wasn’t made for viewing on a larger device like my iPad. Also the streaming to TV doesn’t support Apple TV (I guess it’s only for Chromecast?) so hopefully they’ll have the ability to stream to Apple TV or (better yet) an app for the Apple TV soon.
Best Wrestling Service!
There’s so many Wrestling Promotions on this app! TJPW, Noah, DDT, MG, DPW, Sendai and more! What more can you ask for!? You’re getting a MASSIVE BANG for your Buck here! It’s completely worth it without question! The price is so good I feel like I’m stealing money from them! I genuinely wanna pay them more it’s insane!! Do yourself a favor, if you love pro wrestling then this is the app for you!! Trust is a must!
Best Wrestling app for Pro Wrestling
Great
Best deal in wrestling streaming.
If you’re into Japanese professional wrestling, Wrestle Universe is a no-brainer. So much content from so many great promotions for a little over $8 a month, with discounts on PPV content included.

STARTO
I love wrestle universe as a service but apple AirPlay needs to be an absolutely worked on feature - airplay through safari/brave/etc stutters and buffers using the website and the app does not have native airplay capability.
Great App
I like it I would like to see it on the Fire TV though that way I don’t have to watch it on my IPad or Computer or my IPhone
Great Wrestling app
Wrestle universe is one of the best wrestling app but it lack airplay support to cast to an apple tv. Please add support to airplay or port the app to apple tv
App works well, WU is a great value.
I’ve never had too many problems with this app, and would rate it above the NJPW app. As for Wrestle Universe, you get several promotions of very different styles for one low fee.
