Doesn’t match with anyone
I’ve been on the app for couple of weeks, sent more than 100 likes and didn’t get any match. The app is fake, I’m pretty sure.
Potential but only 5 people in my area
Needs more users. Love that it’s designed to keep people safe, but there were only 5 people in my area.
Great concept, needs lots of work
Amazing idea and concept, but the technical issues with the app make it essentially unusable. Constantly freezing and crashing despite all the usual fixes. Also, very challenging and unintuitive interface to recommend people in the first place - only suggests random contacts and won't let you search or choose specifically. I really hope they can fix these major issues so the empowerment and quality mission can come to life!
Hoping to give a chance in the future
Love the marketing and overall foundation of what this dating app stands for. It’s a fairly new app, and being in the tech field myself, bugs are expected to happen! Even on IG we face glitches — no big whoop. The sad thing is, I can’t even use the app at all. It crashes, freezes, won’t let me pick photos and the list goes on. Overall, this is such a stellar idea, and I love seeing us women come together to support a Woman Owned Business! I’ll prioritize my patience and look forward to a future where I can hopefully use the app for its intended use.

Crashes constantly
Unfortunately the app keeps crashing back and fo back. I have not been able to use it after making my profile for over 4 hours. Nothing works. I’ve tried redownloading and restarting my phone. It’s something wrong with the app. Besides that it doesn’t seem like anyone’s on it. Last updated posts was from weeks ago. I want to meet my person and this app seemed perfect but maybe it’s still in beginner stage. Can the app developer please reach out to me to see why the app is crashing so many times? Thank you
Great potential
So far I’m really liking it! I just don’t think enough people are on it, I’ve only seen 2 people from my own country (Canada) so far so hoping it gains some more popularity
Bots
The premise is great, and the constant updates are nice, but I’m finding a LOT of bots on the app. It’s a shame I went through so much verification just to encounter fake people.
Has potential, but not for all
While I do love the concept of “vetting” available people by friends who know them well, this app seems incredibly limited when it comes to who can benefit from the app. There aren’t a lot of users available within 50-100 miles, but more importantly, there’s no option for users who may be gay, lesbian, bisexual, etc. We aren’t able to adjust the preferences to show women for women and men for men or even people who are interested in everyone! I hope this will become a more inclusive app for the people who are interested in meeting anyone like myself.

hi! i love the idea behind the app, but unfortunately i’m unable to move past the “choose 2 topics” step of registration. on my iphone 8 the whole list of topics doesn’t fit on the screen… the last topic i see is “my best dish i can cook”. scrolling to the “next” button also doesn’t work. hope you’ll be able to fix that!
They have a long way to go
This app does not seem to have enough users to really make it worth it. It does not follow search requests, it asks for your preferences and then literally applies NONE of them. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and it said only two male users in the whole Bay Area? It is also far from being strategically thought out when it comes to user interface and ease of usability. I also don’t appreciate that they don’t offer a free trial or a refund when they don’t provide any matches because there are none in your area. Total scammy
Only Potential
What an amazing idea and I like the simple setup with free space for your bio. It’s great that you have to write a message to like someone and matches expire unless you keep the convo going, simple solutions to a big issue on dating apps. The hype people idea is awesome! However, literally nothing on this app works. The people that liked my profile weren’t showing up unless I liked them back on the feed. I tried to use the video function with someone and it didn’t work whatsoever. Pictures come in sideways, all the people on my feed are out of my preference zone, I somehow endorsed an old colleague without knowing it (awkward and yikes!). I want to root for this which is why I waited to see if the new update made big changes, but they were minor. Being a new dating app I don’t expect a ton of people on it, but since the app doesn’t have basic functionality, it’s hard to see how anyone would stay on it either. There’s no point to this app at the moment. I wish you luck!
Best dating app ive used as a guy looking for something serious
The people on this app are MUCH higher quality than other dating apps I’ve used. Everyone seems serious about finding a real connection, and the endorsement system adds a level of trust that’s SO refreshing. It’s been great for me so far, and I’m excited to see where it leads. If you’re tired of the usual dating nonsense, then try it out. all the girls are actually quality on here and have jobs and life goals and arent your typical party girls 😂
Also having issue getting past the add photos section
Saw a few reviews from people saying they could not get past the point where it asks you to add photos. Same issue for me too. It just says an error occurred. Doesn’t seem to be a way to fix it.

Amazing Potential to Level the Playing Field
As a guy, I can completely get behind a dating app with a premise like Hulah’s. For women, it it should help weed out all the bad apples, freeing up a lot of the guess work that would normally be involved. I think this is an amazing idea, and I’m honestly a little bummed this never got off the ground sooner. Even still, I hope to see this app spread and to see more people using it, because as it stands right now, I honestly can’t find anybody who uses this app in my immediate area -or even my same state for that matter, and I’m in a bigger city area with my distance settings tuned to within 50 miles of myself! Overall, I will keep this app installed for the meantime, and I will do what I can to promote it -albeit in the vastly limited- ways that I can.
Scam profiles/Lack of Customer support
I was on this app since day 1. But recently I got banned cuz I called out the scamming profiles and the fake profiles. I showed the CEO and the Customer Support team everything. They banned me because the community board they have on the app, you can’t write anything without being taken down. JUST LIKE THIS COMMENT! They will take down any comment if you don’t give it a 5 star review. This is the 3rd one so far I had to make. Good luck on trying to contact someone, they won’t respond to you at all!
Doesn’t work as intended
I purchased the three month bundle and am requesting a refund. There is no one within 100 miles of me and that’s fine. I’m not opposed to distance, however, the men I’m shown are no where near my listed preferences. Whats the point of settings if the app doesn’t follow them? Also, men who like me are 15 years younger than me and there is no way to X them out without reporting or blocking. I’m also shown the same men five times in cycles, there are too many glitches

I love this idea! But I live in a fairly large city in CA and there’s like 10 guys…. Kind of disappointing.
Barely started using it
This will not be a reliable review simply because I just started using the app, but they asked for a review already. But here is my objective take so far: 1. It’s a great concept. I love the verifying aspect of the app, the fact that you can have people vouch for you gives you the ability to only seek out quality prospective dates, so mostly if not only quality women and men will be available on the app. 2. The downside: the app is still relatively new, it hasn’t gained massive momentum quite yet, so there’s a limited amount of people on it. Another con: the app has a few minor glitches with simple things (type-o’s, buttons not working properly, etc.) Summary: I am hopeful for the apps future, of the owner sticks with it, and off people give it enough of a chance for it to build solid momentum, it can become a great app, if not the best dating app 🙌🏽 hopefully that happens sooner rather than later. I’d recommend to give it a shot!
Glitches
I have been on the app 20 minutes and it has locked up 3 times. Also like the other person said there are no Options for me in a 90 Mile radius. Paid and have no one to even Choose from.
Not quiet there yet
I love the concept behind this app. It just isn’t user friendly for one and there are very few users compared to more popular dating apps. I have to subscribe or invite people to see any likes which are two things I’m unwilling to do when the experience is really lacking. I may try this one again if popularity increases.

Too glitchy to use!
I can’t even get past the “better guys quiz” at start up because the quiz doesn’t load/exist. It’s just a pop up that can’t be dismissed. Pretty sure this is just a scam to gain access to your contact list. No actual functionality. Okay, years later I got past that screen, and the next issue is that there’s almost no one on this app. That’s a natural result of the unappealing design, lack of any functionality, and general low quality. 😬 I’m also not convinced endorsements by the opposite sex should be a requirement to date…

The idea is good, but the user experience is clunky and the incessant pointless notification spam is annoying as hell. Also, already swiped profiles seem to come back and distance setting is an issue since I still see people from UK when I’m in Canada.
Can’t move past the pictures page
I have been trying to make an account, starting about a week ago. I couldn’t get past the page to add pictures, so gave it a rest. Today I updated the app and attempted to upload pictures again, but once again it will not upload them or let me move past that page
Not enough people for paywall
I like the idea of the app, but there seems to be no one in my area using the app, and the women that have sent me a comment are hidden behind a paywall. 2 stars for a good idea, lost 3 for execution! I hope it changes

Disappointed in customer support
I haven’t even been able to access the app due to the photos screen not going through, no matter how many times I pressed next. At first, I was very patient with customer support since I understand they’re doing so much at once. However, it shouldn’t take two weeks to access a single app. Especially since they asked me for my number to try and figure the situation out and never responded to me since. I’ve tried reaching back out to them and they haven’t responded. I will be deleting this app unless if I miraculously get help. It’s very frustrating and I really don’t want to be rude, but I hate that they couldn’t transfer me to someone else or something. I’m considering deleting it since I can’t even make an account because of this :/
It has potential!
It's a great idea, and the guys in it do look nice. But there are so far only 10 guys within 80 miles of me (in Toronto) within 10 years of my age, so it's still got some room for growth.
