The Best Graphics
I like a challenge and the opportunity to customize everything and this game has given me that. I am also able to create food, have pets, have animals, decorate a beach, sell food that I cook to earn money. And I can visit other players farms and help them out. Even give them energy. They can visit me also and do the same for me. Your inventory is stock pile is not endless so be strategic about that in selling some things to make room but yeah I have loved this game for some years now. I still play often on the same build.

I do really like this game… I love the day and night feature, however 2 things: 1. I wish when it was the night time the street lights actually lit up the area. 2. I don’t really love every time I do a quest/completion a character has to babble. Otherwise this game is really fun and I like all the features and things you can do.

Fun but…
The game can be a bit difficult to play. Watering your plants for example, would it be possible to lower the time for water? I hate having to pick which plants have to stay dry. Also, I feel like the story isn’t really going anywhere. Without spoilers, when you get to a certain point it all gets very monotonous. I’m losing steam and getting bored.

Developers destroyed and then abandoned this game. Apple Arcade needs to remove it.
they have ruined this game, completely given up on it. I assume Arcade must have stopped paying them bc they didn’t just abandon game development, they destroyed the play entirely. Guests only ask for bread now, which means there is no point in growing anything but wheat and cooking anything but bread. This has crashed the farm economy by making nothing sellable or worth buying in the market. It’s an exercise in futile habitual tapping. Game support is nonexistent. It’s not the only game that has stopped progressing but so far it’s the only arcade game where the developers have deliberately broken game play. Arcade needs to drop them or get them back to work. This was one of the main reasons I’ve paid for Arcade and my patience is gone.

Character stuck
I just started the 7 day quest and my character won’t go around fences. Are we no longer able to use fences?
Fun but limited
They need a serious update. Once you complete the challenges. It’s just doing the same thing over and over again. They say wait for the new update for more challenges, but they never update.
Genuinely my favorite game!
I loved this game I played it every day and then once I got to the 90+ levels, the game started glitches so bad. I try every couple of months hoping it will be fixed it, it never is 💔 I hope writing this gets its fixed because I miss it and theres no game like it honestly.

Water please
I love this game, but I wish I could purchase another water well. It feels like the more you expand, you should be able to upgrade your well or buy an additional one.
Carnival bug
I am playing this game and when I got to the part in the carnival level that says gain 1000 social coins I did everything and every possible way to gain social coins and got way more than 1000 but the counter is stuck at 922 coins and the support button doesn’t work in the game. Surprise surprise. So now I have an unfinished level and can’t get help to fix it.
Fun but glitchy
No micro transactions, good timing for things to be done. But the character glitches out so much it stops what you are doing. Will there be more updates or are they done??
Please Continue to Develop the Game
I absolutely adore this game. It is the first time I have ever spent countless hours enjoying a single game. Sadly, it appears I reached the end with no points of progression, nor any additional quests. I’m disappointed there is no further development being offered. The only attainable items are floor tiles and fencing after level 69 which has made me lose my interest. Thankfully I stumbled on the past events This game has brought me so much inner peace. It’s incredibly relaxing. It offers an unique element I’ve never experienced in other simulator games Please do not abandon the game. I would love to see a farmhouse update, which includes the ability to design the entire interior of the house, along with extra animal choices, land expansions that allow us to build a small town nearby with a store to manage, a library, restaurant, a fishing dock and fairgrounds. There are endless options for Farmside to bring a second edition to life. I love the game design, the task based progression that is not complicated, the dreamy graphics and thoughtful decorations. The interactive pieces are truly magical. I’m not ready to walk away from this beautiful game. Please continue to update Farmside or release a second edition for purchase Thank you so much for the endless hours of enjoyment you brought me this far
Obnoxious tutorial
The devs think you’re too stupid to know how to play a game that is just like dozens of others that they copied from so they force you through a tedious tutorial that goes much much longer than it has any reason to. You actually get the achievement for completing the tutorial before you’re even a quarter of the way done with having your playtime dictated by the game and having to just click where the game tells you to.
Easy to play
Enjoy playing, tasks keep you busy. Interactions with visitors are extremely limited. One inconvenience, I have my game set to automatically allow visitors but for some reason I still have to approve them. Sometimes I miss the request because I’m concentrating on something on the other side of the screen.
Needs Expansion… limited challenges
I loved this game when I started playing. Fun challenges and expansion opportunities, but those end as you level up. After you complete all the challenges, you have to replay them to level up. This gets boring. I stuck with it, and am a level 90…… there is nothing after that…. Same old game. I thought at 90, more land would open up or different challenges would appear. If you want a game that has longevity to it and has new and different challenges, this is not the game for you. Sad…
Flour goes too quickly and making produce takes too long
There should be more slots and speed up to how long it takes for flour to get done. So many recipes require flour. At some point it’s just planting wheat and corn and trying to get orders through. If not that, then it’s having to focus on either orders, production, or selling via Bran. You can’t really juggle all three with how quickly the flour gets eaten up by majority of the recipes. Feeding the animals is also a disappointment - those ingredients go fast as well. The well water refill time is also a disappointment. You can barely water much even with the x5. I liked the game in the beginning but I’ve gotten frustrated with it.
Fun and quirky farming
This game is a great alternative to the other, far more exploitative farming games available. It is funny, addictive and a huge time sink, but I enjoy it. The end drags a bit as the levels become a grind, and there is less to spend on. Please make a sequel and keep it microtransaction-free! I would happily pay a decent flat fee for an improved version of this.
Stingy Water Supply And Audio Issues
Why does the audio slow down my MacBook, even after I close the game, audio is “slowed” down. And why does watering crops and trees take so much more water than before? For god sakes, what have you done to this game?
Addictive and and interesting but has bugs and kills battery
Love this game. Have got to level 30+ but now facing a bug where to complete a mission, you need to change clothes and every apple device ive got (TV, iPad, iPhone) gets trapped in this sub-routine - so can’t save and return - meaning you have to crash out of the game and you can’t complete the mission. Other than that - very battery hungry, you’ll be recharging frequently and burning your hands with hot phone / iPad. Pretty glitchy on older Apple TV.
Can’t Progress
Was liking this game until it came time to unlock the third area. It requires me to serve two butter bread to visitors, however I cannot make butter without a cow, which is in the third area. And nobody plays so I can’t visit another farm to progress that way either.
Major game bug
Why does it keep showing that you have been removed from the invalid area when I'm playing? If this error still hasn't been resolved, please restart the game. I've restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but it didn't work. Please answer me, developer
Enjoyable
Farmside can hold my attention for a long time, and that’s hard for a game to do. It’s my replacement for all 3 FarmVille games, which this one is a lot like all 3 combined, but better and with a lot of improvements, and no pestering for money. I enjoy it. Still gets the needed dopamine going. Well done, Farmside game developer.
No Tech Support
I loved this game but it is now broken and there is no indication anyone is trying to fix it. The in-game link for support does not work. NPC’s will not sit down at the restaurant to order anything they just run back and forth between the train and the restaurant. The guests that used to order a variety of things will now only order bread so there is no point in making anything else. Apparently the monthly fee does not cover tech support.

I was trying to unlock the third area but the quest said get 3 crabs but there wasn’t any because I had just got them before the quest so I had to wait for like a hour. Plus that the quests are like extremely hard to complete and it doesn’t let me build that carnival dunk game because my screen time limit
To high yours standards for the few you can get.
Really the maintenance of a farm or a restaurant with high prices and low productivity is very difficult, low water, not to much idea about lifetime of trees, very high amount of needed for a production of a single foodstuffs, please review your game. Unless this is just another “ social “ game.

Major glitch jan2026 still not fixed
Sadly,these developer are the reasons people see Apple Arcade as a joke. Developers sell their game and pocket the licensing $$, then spend no more revenue to address tech issues or develop new quests or expand levels. This game has been notified of a major problem that makes the game pointless. Despite video evidence of the issue, including it happening on other players farms, they’ve done nothing. Nor have they expanded game levels (they tried to say they released new levels 90-100, which weren’t new at all, just offering more prizes. for same. And it turned out those games awarded decorations as proves which infected the game so join and to strip them all out to play Please share your experiences so we can get a critical mass of these people to take this seriously
Great game, but needs more content
I love this game! I have been playing pretty steadily, but there’s nothing new about it. It’s the same stuff no new rewards or things to do. We need updates because this game is great!!
Devs abandoned this game??
Is there any support for this game anymore? I really love this game but it’s become boring and mundane. There’s no new stuff in the decoration shop…there should be a way to add a sprinkler systems or an update to move towards the industrialization of the farm…I don’t know it seems like the devs have abandoned this game. PLEASE COME BACK!!!

I love the game and the design of the main character is beautiful.
Tech support has failed!
I was hoping with this update my farm would be fixed, but it wasn’t. I sent an email months ago, but tech did nothing to fix it. I can’t move my character around my farm to play the game. It’s just stuck. I have been playing this game since early on. There have been a few glitches in the game that were no big deal, but this keeps me from playing. I have sent another email. We will see what happens. I recommend My Dear Farm if you want an alternative.
Please Consider
This game is very fun and creative, my only down side is not having the option to upgrade my water well and raising the quantity of the water used for my crops, or being able to lower the 10 minute timer w upgrades. Crops can be more profitable as well.
Fun to play but really short!
I got to open the commons and that's basically it. No more quests so there's no point playing it after that unfortunately. Really disappointed as I was really enjoying playing.

AMAZING GAME
This is the literal best game in the history of iPad games. I'm serious! I can't put it down! Although my mom seems to think that shouldn't be true😒. I think that if everyone had this game, there would be world peace forever. I mean I don't actually think that, but that's how much I love it. I only have one issue, and it's that when you try to put fence on your farm, it goes in completely irrational places, even areas where it won't even let you put it in the first place. But after it figures out which direction you are going, it's much better. Thanks!!😉

Such a shame was really enjoying this cute farming sim. I had just just unlocked the cake stand only for gamecentre to crash and my progress is now lost.
A LOT OF BUGS/GLITCHES
This game is too cute, and I am a big fan of all of the quests available. But my only issue is the amount of bugs and glitches it has. I am constantly having to exit out of the game because it freezes on me. The water hose also does not allow me to select multiple crops/trees at once, and clicking each individual tile space is tedious and annoying. The game would be perfect if they could figure out those bugs!!!
Awesome game
I love this game so much! The characters and decorations are so cute and fun. This games brings me peacefulness. Needs only an expansion package including quests, land, more fruits (blueberries) and things to plant. Keep this cool game coming! I love this game!

Only gave this a 4 out of 5 stars because I stopped playing due to my farm having so many decorations, and me not wanting to completely start over to rearrange it. I wish there was a way like there is in hayday to add different “scenes” you can switch from, so I can start with a blank slate and add in all of my decorations rather than having to do it all in one go since it would take me SOOOO long. I was a die hard fan in the very beginning until my farm started to look like a hot mess and I couldn’t bring myself to completely undo it and redo it in one sitting.
Good game ruined by choke points
This is a tragic example of talented people working for bosses with bad priorities. Let’s start with the good, because it’s really good. The interface is smooth and intuitive. The help is excellent and not terribly intrusive. The arrows that can guide a person from a locked item on a production station to its recipe are an element every game should emulate. The bugs are few and not game breaking. The graphics are bright and cheerful without becoming tiresome. The animations are charming and just a bit bouncy, which works with the style. This could be a nice relaxing experience. It COULD be. But it won’t be, because it’s filled with unavoidable choke points. Though there aren’t micro transactions in the arcade, this game’s design truly suffers from limitations that are baffling without them. The well cannot be upgraded, and the barn space is a constant aggravation. The inputs required for upgrading are steep, and the ability to upgrade has a very low cap. Without space to collect their products, machines that could be used to consume products cannot be operated to make space. Most unforgivable are the copious bonuses that inexplicably count against storage space. They have no sale value, and using them requires unrelated inputs that are often in short supply. They can only be thrown away, which is not fun to do. Even the most charitable interpretation— that storage management is part of the challenge— doesn’t cover this. Animals exist as a constant headache. Everything outside them can be rushed, but nothing to do with them can be. Even at max upgrade, their feed production is excruciatingly inadequate. Sure, you can’t rush lactation, but a feed mill? Flour can be rushed. Why not feed? It’s been a painful process but I’ve hit the max upgrades on the mill, barn, feed mill, and many other features… and it hasn’t really been satisfying at all. This kind of disappointment kills a game like this. When people hit these choke points, most either pay to get past them or give up. There’s no option to pay past them, but the frustration remains. It gives the impression of a scummy, disappointing throttle trap that doesn’t really match the rest of the game design. Between the frustration of storage and upgrade limitations, the inability to add extra wells or machinery to adjust their pace, and the snail’s pace of the animals, it just creates such a crazily asymmetrical pace that it screams for some way to hasten what can’t be hastened. That only makes sense if these choke points were intended for micro transactions. If that wasn’t part of the design, someone calling the shots is inexplicably acting like it will be. Either way, the people creating a nice smooth user experience are being sabotaged by the people who think putting low and frustrating caps on progress is somehow a good idea. I really like everything about this game except this inexplicably asymmetrical throttling. I truly hope they ditch that before people get tired of the frustration.

I really really enjoyed this game but it’s been a year since an update and I’ve restarted a couple of times because there isn’t anything more to do. Please add more.
