Love this game BUT…
There is absolutely NO REASON to put a cap on energy. Let us binge ply the mini games to accumulate energy, PLEASE! The 200 cap on energy is way too low. If you’re going to put a cap on it, make it 1000…I’d even be halfway happy with 500. That being said, this is a delightful little game that hits all my serotonin buttons. The nostalgia of My Little Pony feeds my inner child and the graphics are super cute. If the cap on energy was amended I would happily give it 5 stars!
Too much recharging, not enough playing
I love the game as a concept but the fundamental mechanics are unbalanced and frustrating. Far and away the biggest problem is that the magic meter has a maximum capacity of 200 and it can’t be increased. As a result you can only merge for maybe 1-2 minutes at most before you have to go play mini games for 3-5 minutes to “recharge.” This is so so annoying and really disrupts the flow of the game. I am hoping that since this is a relatively new game, the developers will be receptive to feedback and fix this issue.

Today I played mane merge but everything reset as if it were yesterday,including the daily wishes,and daily gifts. Please fix these bugs!

Hi! I’ve been playing this game for two weeks because I wanted another merge game to play—I really like these kind of games because they for whatever reason put my brain into a flow state and it really helps my anxiety. This game would be perfect if it didn’t force you to play a minimum of three mini games that are at best a mild nuisance after two weeks of playing. It breaks that flow state for me and brings back the anxiety for a few minutes. The mini games are fun when you can choose if and when you play them (like for extra rewards or certain resources, for example). Please please consider changing this, or at least making it an option!

I put a 4 star rating because boy would probably not like this game I don’t think that most boys would have interest in the game because it has unicorn and pony and Pegasus and for girls it is good but I think it should be 5 + because when you get to the point it’s get a bit hard even it was a bit hard for me and that is my review

Fun game… except the magic limit.
First of all My real ratings is 3 and a half and Secondly Mane merge is fun game and a great way to make time fly, but the reason I did not give this game 5 Stars is because it’s kinda repetitive and more importantly HOW QUICKLY YOUR MAGIC RUNS OUT! It’s so annoying! ( I know a lot of people are talking about this But it really is so so so annoying!) there’s two ways to fix this, make the magic limit like 800 or 1000 or something or raise the the amount of points we get for making stuff by merging. My Sister says that she is also annoyed by the magic limit and she is annoyed how many points it takes to fix stuff. That’s all I have to say, Bye 👋
This game is awesome
This game is literally perfect. If you just wanna come home and relax or if you just wanna relax if you’re already at home, but it’s perfect to play it relaxes you all the time and it’s a really fun game actually.

No sound
For some reason there is no sound in the into video of the game after you tap the title screen even though i have the volume up half way please fix this so i can enjoy the game more
Cute game, pls fix
Cute game, but please don't make me press the same purse 30 times in a row to fill the board with its items. Instead, pls allow pressing and holding on a purse to fill the board (let it keep distributing items when held down), like comparable games--If you did that, I'd play more often. All the repetitive tapping gets irritating after a while though, when it's so much easier in other game with the same premise. Thx!

I love My Little Pony! Always have, always will, no matter the generation. So, I find this game enjoyable and relaxing. The gameplay is simple and the mini games are fun and varied, and I enjoy the occasional updates adding new games. I love the stickers aspect, as it’s always exciting to check out what I’ve unlocked in my sticker book. This game is adorable, and a really cute game for kids! However, when it comes to the UI, this game is designed deceptively addictive. If you idle on the screen for even a moment, there are animations telling you to merge something— at any given moment, there could be 5 different stimuli on the screen telling you to click something at once. This may seem like a small thing, but since this game is aimed at young children, that much stimuli can be upsetting and damaging to their attention span. I would like to suggest the option in settings to turn off “hints” etc. I don’t mind that they’re there in the game, I just would like the option to not see them. It would make for a more peaceful experience. The constant cues to have you click something really takes a lot of fun out of the game for me unfortunately, as I’m too busy being distracted by Cloudpuff barking at me something to actually enjoy the gameplay. Adding the option to disable these constant distractions may help teach kids patience. Maybe even reward them for waiting— perhaps the longer they wait for the magic bar to refill, the faster it refills. Calm media is incredibly important to young children. For me, I got to experience My Little Pony G3 flash games from the 2000s on computer. Many of the games were slow-paced, gentle, peaceful, and patient. I love a good amount of excitement too, and the cutscenes here do a great job in delivering that! And that being said, some attention to calm would go a thousand miles in this game. I hope my review is taken into the consideration of both parents and developers. Thank you for reading :)

Please make cut scenes skippable
This game is fun but the amount of time stuck in cut scenes is obnoxious. Otherwise it’s a solid merge game…better than most
Make playable with mouse control!
I am loving this game and the graphics and gameplay are great, but as soon as the game starts the mouse stops working. As a person with a disability using the mouse with my iPad helps me a lot. All the other apps that I’ve downloaded so far work with the mouse except for this game. Please fix this issue!

Cute fun for a 6-year-old
My kid loves My Little Pony, so automatically loves this game. Don’t expect any educational value, though. It’s just your standard, mindless, merge game in a cute MLP wrapper. It would be nice if there was more voice-over. After the opening video, it’s just written dialog, which is lost on kids who aren’t yet reading. At least the games are simple enough for them to figure out without reading. One note: In the mini-game Pipp’s Dance Party, the notes don’t appear to match the music in any discernible way. My kid does well with other ‘match-notes-to-the-tempo’ type games but just gets frustrated with this one.

Definitely great for all ages! Fun puzzles and mini-games! Gen 5 of MLP might not be my favorite generation (I grew up with G4) but it has pretty cute characters! :3
Great game except for some of the updates
This game is a ton of fun but they changed the “daily” goals to more frequent turnover - I believe they’re 12hrs now. Combined with dropping the energy to stop refilling to 100 instead of 200, it’s become less fun of a game. I shouldn’t have to play the side games a dozen or more times to try to make the daily goal. I also wish it wasn’t random whether it drops a goal item or bonus points on certain high value merges.
Surprisingly fun, but between device sync is stuffed
Very cute and upbeat. Thoroughly enjoy the distraction while I listen to podcasts and news, but the between device sync is useless. It only syncs once correctly, and then seems unable to update between iPad and iPhone. Update: after a couple of days, the initial fun has worn off. The story is very weak, especially compared to other similar games (even MLP games). There’s no real reason to keep playing. :(
