Please Read This Before Purchasing This App
The scammers/developers at Ideanology are well aware that their “premium” offer implies the app provides unlimited downloads—in fact, it only includes 20. To get unlimited downloads, you must pay an ADDITIONAL $15.98. But you won’t discover that until you either purchase the app or read this and virtually all the other reviews. Clearly, Ideanology is aware that their promotions for Privoto are misleading, but they continue to refuse to change them so their marks/customers can actually understand what they’re buying. Consider this: Ideanology makes the following claim: “Privoto employs robust security measures by encrypting all imported photos and videos with a 256-bit encryption key. This key is directly linked to the passcode you establish for the app. This ensures that not only are others unable to access your data, but even we, as the app creators, do not have access to it. The exclusive individual with the ability to decrypt the data is the one possessing the passcode - you.” Can you believe them? I don’t. By the way, their much ballyhooed “Disguise as Compass” icon displays the not so subtle word Privoto prominently beneath it on your iPhone screen.
Privoto premium
For some reason my Privoto premium Account which I purchased in 2024 is not working now after I opened the app today and made my account regular!
Beware: it is bait & switch
I got the premium account. Later, they slammed additional fees for uploading photographs. I believed the top to your premium account was unlimited. It is not. If you want unlimited, there’s an additional fee of $10 down the road for you.

App name
The app name is suspicious! Keep only PRIVOTO & take out PRIVATE PHOTO because who ever see the name will know that this app hides a lot of suspicious things!!
Garbage developers Lie, Cheat, And steal your data
This has to be one of the most unethical developers on the App Store making and selling and app that really only serves to data mine your privacy and sell said data to the highest bidder Or most likely even the lowest as it’s not in any way about privacy but all about money 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 And badly optimized to boot!!
On Its Way to Being Perfect
Works flawlessly, my only missing feature would be a Tag and subsequent Search feature. Being able to give a photo or video a tag or label, and then search for said item would be SO incredibly helpful. Dev, PLEASE ADD 🙏🏼
useful and sleek but…
I purchased once Premium with unlimited imports included. I still can see this on my old phone. Now after activating the app on a new phone and restoring my purchase it tells me that I have only 50 imports available (although the restore purchases feature worked just fine). This downgrade is irritating because no reason given. I admit the app itself works more or less as it should. Wi-Fi transfer was not working between 2 phones though. Therefore 4 stars only. I hope the app will work many more years because the idea behind saving valuable photos and vids to a private vault in your phone is to keep very important data digitally. Some other similar apps just disappeared from the Appstore leaving you behind with encrypted data and: no access anymore to the stored files. I can recommend Privoto but would like to solve the issue with the import limitations and see a fix for the Wi-Fi transfer glitch. Any developer is reading this? . [update] I will now downgrade to 3 stars because of the intentional mislead with this non-unlimited feature. The proof is the multiple criticisms by other reviewers stating the same issue. Mislead because in my original purchase on the old phone the unlimited imports are still available leading to the assumption that by design it was activated and not falsely communicated to the 3rd party provider AppAdvice who promoted the free lifetime subscription as part of their Free-App-of-the-Day package
Wowwww
It Seems just a Normal Volt. But Once u buy a paid Version wich is $10 Dollars.first it seems super Expencive to me.but once i turn on all the features.it Blow my Mind .what a Crazy App .with unmatchable Security with 3 difrent pascode options + each album have owne pascode option plus + Compass .i never write a Review in my like for a app.but this app is sick.Just Wowwwww What a App thats a i Can say.
Needs to pay money to upload > 50 photos into this app.
Unlocking premium cost 7.99 and you still have to pay to upload > 50 photos into app. What is this?
What a joke premium acc
25% discounts for importing.
Recovery Key
How can i reset password for folder but i don’t have Recovery Key
Awesome place for private photos
Re installed after unlimited photos issue corrected with premium purchase.
Not free no recommendation this app they are lies
Bad not free they are lied on us
was promised lifetime unlimited. trick to make you download.
the app is in arabic since the previous update! impossible to use
Not bad
Great UI, and good features. Keep in buy that even if you purchase the Pro version you will need to purchase more “imports”. You’re limited to 50, then $3.99 for additional 30, $7.99 for 100 and $24.99 for unlimited. Keep this in mind when you decide to have this app as your main private photo manager.
Doesn’t work
I can’t download any photos
BEST
Purchased premium twice so far, but since I love this app, I upgraded to unlimited!! :D
Premium version offers NOTHING!
I downloaded this app to test. Unfortunately the “Free premium version” app via AppAdvice is not free. Sure, I’ll pay insane amounts for each picture for the privilege of trying your app. NOT! DELETE….
Lacks codecs for audio
While the app has a nice layout and covers most aspects of private albums, I discovered the app lacks some of the codecs to play the audio for certain videos. The same files play completely fine in any video player application like VLC, Infuse, etc.
Very good considering about privacy except…
Very good considering about privacy, but for importing photos, the app needs to charge extra (maybe a continuous charging may needed) is really new and challenging thinking , which I would say, thanks and bye.
Disappointed at the App Developer
This app used to work fine.. However, it wasn’t enough for the developers to charge “premium” version. Now all of the sudden, we have to be charged extra for more file imports! Because being “premium” user isn’t good enough! No previous warnings or consideration for current Premium users. Disappointing:(
Privoto
It's a good app but it doesn’t tell you how to transfer from or to computer from the Ipad/Iphone app.
Change Passcode option
Need to add passcode with alphanumeric and patterns lock
Great app
Highly recommended. Easy access and very covert
How greedy
Charging per image is just wrong!!!
