Great tycoon game
I don’t know why I don’t see this game getting more love. It’s such a simple yet fun game. I keep coming back to it.
Money suckers
Want (real) money for everything
Add screen rotation for IPad?
Good game, but I would like to play this game in landscape mode on my iPad.
It’s what I was looking for 😌
Honestly It’s wild that I am saying this but I’ve been looking for a game like this for a VERY LONG TIME!
Stuck in tutorial
While buying the school, I exited the building menu before placing the school, now both the 10 coins needed to buy it, as well as the the school are gone
The game teaches you something
Initially the game is all chill and progress is quick and strategy gets you there quickly. Then a week later you’re almost an Octillionaire, and then you realize that you’ve been sitting around too long and mindlessly staring into nothingness . Strategy will not get you anywhere now. The income/cost scaling is x10 per level. The next item will take a week, then a month, then a year. The oil rigs will not bring you happiness. It’s time to move on to something more meaningful. That said, it’s a simple and fun game.
Schlechtes Spielerlebnis
completed it
ive built 100 electric car factories, used only two roads, and have over 350 spare bridges. most of my resource islands contain only one building. at this point it’s virtually impossible to do anything else as currency doesn’t accumulate while you’re away to the true amount, this is a shame as it would be nice to further optimise. overall it’s pretty repetitive but also addictive
Things that make me happy from this game
This game is so fun other people can join this game
This is embarrassing
I normally don’t pay to play but I had a moment of weakness while playing this game and bought the #2 package, needed the coins to progress and there was some side stuff halfway interesting. Well I got the side stuff but no coins! These coins are completely worthless of course, equal to the worth of the letters in this review but the people who run this game would still rather rip people off than provide the costless to them coins! Amazing really, anyway the game is interesting if you are bored but eventually will require endless grinding or purchasing of coins which they won’t even provide, give this game a pass.
My thoughts
I think it’s a pretty good game, it’s just the fact that they also made production chain tycoon, which is more of a idle game that does some of the same things but with better progression and playability (you don’t need to click the structures to keep them producing). It does have cool concepts that if implemented into production chain would make a really good game, like skill trees and bridges (It would better if you could build them tho). I think this game is pretty good, but I’m not sure if it’s because of my under developed brain but I would rather play production chain tycoon
Ok
It was a really fun game for about five minutes after that it slowly got ripetitive and boring.
Addictive but boring
This game has the incremental upgrades and click to get money mechanics that are admittedly quite addictive. Unfortunately there is little strategy or agency other than build the new thing. Game slowed considerably past the iron stage for me. Overall the game was a good waste of time.
Pleasantly captivated
I love management simulators and tycoon games, and this ticks both those boxes. And for a free to play game, the use of ads it’s very tolerable. Easy to start an ad and just come back later if you’ve got other things to do.
Game freezes on launch
Game will get past the title screen but freezes shortly after
Great game…haven’t had to spend $
This is the first game since getting an iPhone that I have stuck to playing for more than a couple days. I enjoy that it’s pretty easy to play and I haven’t had to spend and real money to advance. A couple things I’m stuck on are how to move something after it’s built? Also, not a ton of explanation or instruction, I’m not able to find instructions or explanations but mostly you tap on something and you can easily figure it out. I like that I’m rewarded for watching ad’s and that is completely up to me. One of my favorite things to do is collecting all the treasures the boat leaves behind! I love the lighthouse! I’m just waiting to see if houses and people show up eventually. I mean what else are the roads for? Anyways, also not sure on the pixel illustrations, it kind of makes me feel like I’m taking my first computer class back in middle school. Maybe it changes once I’m at a higher level. But a couple of suggestions are maybe as I mentioned, some sort of instructions/clarity on how the missions get completed and more clarity on item costs etc. I don’t know the difference on the $ generation or if it costs that much. Also would like to see night mode for when the time of day changes. Maybe some mini games for bonuses? Like a matching 3 game or something similar to that. And people, fun characters could be added, for instance major of the islands or CEO’s to run headquarters etc. Thank you Developers for making a free game that isn’t completely lame!
Ads ads and more ads
Which is too because the core gameplay seems like it is really good. But then completely ruined by the CONSTANT nagging micro transactions and ads.
Bad ending
The game is awesome and I recommend it to everyone but I don't understand why should the game be soooo slow in the end. Seems to me that instead of providing you with the satisfaction of a completed game, the developer wants you to keep playing even if you don't make any progress anymore, just to bring him more ad revenue. This is a short-term approach and I don't like it.
Good
Fun
Buggy
Game froze as soon as it launched. Couldn’t move past the intro sequence.
A continuous puzzle!
I have had this game for a week now, and I will say it has become my go to. Exploring new islands, running out of land space, then finding new ones, great concept. I enjoy searching for treasure and collecting bottles. And I have a feeling that nothing comes easy in this game. Finding the perfect ratio of production to buildings is a bit tough, you run out of space to build quickly. The only advice I have for the developers is that when you upgrade the buildings, the production should increase along with the profit. Other than that, it’s been a wonderful little time eater. Thank you!
Buggy but cute ad simulator
Most of the time watching ads bugs out the game and freezes it so I have to watch another ad for the reward. Obviously made for profit
Great game - Too many ads
The game is addicting but you end up spending more time watching ads than playing the actual game.. there’s no way to pay for the ads to go away either.. Sure you can play without ads but then you’d take days and days to complete anything at all.
Great game, needs more space
Honestly, I absolutely love this game, but sometimes, I find my self just barely squeaking by with just enough resources to move on. I understand it’s strategy, and I’m probably just bad, but I’d say you might need to add some more land. Especially on the food island. There is not as much room for farms as there is for other islands. Otherwise, highly recommend!
Kees freezing can’t play
Game keeps freezing unable to play.
Pay to win… eventually
Interesting game a bit like a very very kiddie pool board game. Pretty linear progress without too much thinking. But still pretty fun. In the end though you really are forced to pay. AND watch innumerable ads. To be fair the way the ads are delivered is palatable but make no mistake you will be watching hundreds to thousands if you want to win. In particular starting at Iron island you reach a point where progress through passive or even active ad watching income is nowhere near sufficient. It takes weeks for even one upgrade. I didn’t even mind watching the ads. But it becam3 The Who,e game. Lot of potential here. And an improved model for watching ads. But in the end the game is just like any other P2W. I loved this game. That alone gets it 4 stars. Tweak the game balance in the later stages please!
Don’t pay to play
Was enjoying this game and about to buy some tokens so I could avoid watching ads. $5 for 500 tokens is ridiculous. You would need 15,000 tokens to avoid ads for very long, costing $100. Charging $100 to play a game ad-free is a massive insult to players. I’m not giving him any money.
Octopus
The octopus told me to rate the game :)
Ads everywhere
Too many adds, no option to pay to skip. Makes the game 90% watching adds. Pass until they add an option to pay like $5 and not constantly watch adds.
Good but ad driven
I don't like ad driven games, I'd rather pay a couple bucks and just play the game... so it loses one star for that. But the game itself is good. For an idle game it's not very addictive (this is a good thing!), it lets you play at a relaxed pace, a little bit each day. That's what idle games SHOULD be like, not sucking up all your time and constantly distracting you. The island and production management is a nice puzzle, optimizing your layout is fun. Connecting all the islands up takes time but is satisfying.
To ad focused
Fun game but to ad focused. Additionally the rate to acquire bridges is to slow. The only way to get what you need is the pay real world money for them. Not ok.
Good game, needs paid ad removal
Fun game with a good concept, but needing to watch ads constantly takes away from its polished feel. Please add a paid ad removal option.
This game is amazing
I just started paying but I have been looking for a game like this forever and this one is perfect
Unplayable?
cannot even perform an action to begin the game, almost as if the game is permanently frozen
Game is fun
The mechanics of the game are simple but this game differentiates from other idle games. In this game you need resources to build some structures and those resources are provided by other buildings making the game objective not only to get the most money but to find the perfect way to optimize your buildings. The only problems I found are the only thing that connects islands and their benefits between each other are very tedious to get. One choice is to wait up to 8 hours just to get one bridge or watch ads until you have enough coins to get the bridge. Other issue I found is the the money you get while being outside the app is 3 times less than what you get if you were on the app and to get 3 times money from being idle you need to pay 30 coins, which there are only three options to get these coins. By purchasing with real money, by watching three ads or to press any bottle you see on the ocean which is randomized between money or coins with more probability of getting money. And every time you need to pay this 30 coins you can’t do any of these options because you needed to have the coins beforehand.
Bugs but good game
Lots of dumb immersion breaking bugs but fun game nonetheless
normally dont have good things to say about mobile games
this game is simple. you build, idle, unlock islands, build some more. somehow the music though repetitive is just so relaxing. it brings you down to earth and helps you unwind. Everything about the gameplay is everything that you could expect. And the amazing thing is that there is no forced ads. when a game forces an ad believe it or not I'd delete it. It's just completely stupid and I am more prone to pay a little bit of something for a game that does not force advertisements on me because I'm not gonna play a game that's just a simple piece of crap just to make them money. But this game I have bought the five dollar pack which isn't a lot but I'm sure is enough for them. The game actually makes you want to watch the ads as well and I have watched plenty of ads or at least let them run through for the extra coins extra bridges etc. I'm a little over 2/3 way to unlocking everything completely. i will be happy to unlock everything and maximize efficiency to have the most income possible on this
broken
doesn’t even work
Good game
This game is good but could have more in it if it’s a empire there are a lot of things you can do with a empire like a list if it had that it would really improve the game
Keeps asking for ratings so I’ll give you a bad one
Keeps asking for ratings so I’ll give you a bad one.
The game isn’t bad but….
So your not forced to watch tons of ads. As far as I can tell your not forced to watch a single ad. Though the game is borderline unplayable with out watching 1000s of advertisements. You need bridges to get from island to island to continue your factory building. You get one for free every 8 hours or so. That might not be bad if you stayed on any one island for a length of time. In a couple hours I’ve likely spend more of it watching ad after ad to earn bridges then playing. Sometimes a ship brings a bridge for an ad, sometimes you find one in a floating treasure again for an ad, if neither are available you can watch 6 ads in the lighthouse for 1. Watching ads for cash or research points do not count towards the 6 required ad views. You can also buy them with the premium currency at an increasing cost the more you buy. So my evaluation is the game itself is fun. But bridges need to be more available. Give more per ad view or lower the cost of bridges when using premium currency or maybe lower the wait time from 8 hours to maybe 30 minutes or 1 hour. Short of that you get about 5 minutes of play per hour of ad views.
Tell the octopus I love it too
I’m pretty early in. It’s a nice game so far. I like that it shows you how much you are making of each item. Helps balance what you craft. It said the octopus loves me, and this is why I’m leaving a review.
Too many prompts for ads and spending money
They have like 20 items on screen at all times that either get you to buy something with real money or to watch ads. Haven’t seen this level of greed in a long time On top of that, the game has started crashing on startup after 3 days. Edit: reinstalled game to see if it would fix the crash and it reset my progress and have lost everything! (Even though I’m logged into Gamecenter).
Thank you developers :)
After I wrote a review and the developers saw it, they have fixed the issues that I ran into during my gameplay. I thank the devs for being on the outlook and bringing availability on the different iPhones and IPads out there. Great work devs!
Display bugs
Once I open the upgrade menu it will stay on top and prevent me from doing anything in any other menu until I restart the app. Might have potential, but this makes the game almost unplayable
I’m confused
Every time I load it freezes so is this loading or aren’t you supposed to play on iPad ?
