Best app
Amazing
Stupid
I was excited to get the app and then once I got it I had to pay to use the app what a stupid waste of time don’t buy it unless you can afford to pay
Seems like reasonable estimates
Since it gets no slanted views of the cards, it won’t detect wrinkles and light creases and scratches. Other surface criteria send to be reflected pretty accurately. I really like the business model, buy credits spend credits. Much more flexible than the monthly subscription which sends pretty expensive.
Doesn’t fulfill what it claims
I purchased the app in hopes it would meet my needs. It’s beyond frustration that it has yet to identify the right card I’m grading. I have had to hand type every card into the search bars so it can give me real time values. Additionally, the auto focus will not focus on old back Japanese cards. Every thing is blurry. The app does not have an email for help or feed back either. Don’t waste your time.
Geldmacherei
Solid app
First, I want to say I haven’t officially sent any of my cards to get pre-graded yet but I do think the app does a good job grading. I’ve seen people complain that they can’t get higher than like a 9 or 9.1 with the app. I haven’t gotten a 10, but I’ve gotten 9.5s and 9.6s. People should take the scores with a grain of salt - the AI is being conservative, it’s likely catching things that either: (1) False positives (2) SOOO minor a human grader probably wouldn’t catch/penalize. I’ve had cards flagged for “edge wear” or “whitening” when neither existed (even under a microscope) - it’s just the lighting or shadows from the picture. So if you’re frustrated you’re not getting a 10, look at WHY you aren’t and assess from there - people have gotten 10s with pre-grades as low as a like an 8.9 so if YOUR inspection doesn’t catch anything and the things AI catch aren’t right… you probably have a 10 and should feel confident sending your card in 👌🏻
Bad business practices
They make you pay for the subscription service before you can even get into the app. 10 or 15 bucks. Just to access it. Then once you pay the money you have to spend more money to actually grade the card by buying credits. Use HoloDex instead. Canceled the subscription immediately and will be disputing with my credit card company. It’s only 15 bucks but that’s super scammy.
Pretty inconsistent
I saw this app being promoted as a way to verify grades prior to submitting to TAG. Unfortunately though I completely creased and deep scratched a common holo card to verify accuracy and it graded higher in the app than a completely pack fresh common with perfect spacing so can’t really trust it. Probably best to just visually check yourself. App needs to work on its accuracy and maybe develop to use the front faceing camera to accurately see scratches.
inaccuracies
grade just gives me 8.9-9.1 for every card. i’ll throw a mangled card in and it’ll get a 9.1 or a perfect near mint and get an 8
app isn’t right
i have tried different lightings and different backgrounds and it always says there’s whitening when all the cards ive scanned are pack fresh. i follow the instructions and they never are 100% and when i look at the card there’s no whitening on that spot. seems super inconsistent. waste of money tbh
Review/grading
Amazing app , thanks for the help , keep up the great work
Dosent work
Dosent work! Had a 9.4 that it was super confident in, got a 6. Just a guessing app! Terrible!
App is fun, but sadly you need to pay for digital grading (no free trial)
Very cool app, especially für mastersets, or prive view, but no free test for the grading. Like 3 free tries, and then you pay would be cool
Screwed me
I like the concept of this app but payed a large fee to do the ai grading it helps a little bit with the lighting changes and whatnot but I sent off a 3000 dollar Luigi pikachu card. I ran it through the ai grader upwards of 10 times the lowest grade it said was 8.6 and highest being 9.1 all other times were in between that I then spent 400 to get it graded for it to come back a 5 I know ai isn’t perfect but when you spend that much a month you’d think it’s pretty close maybe this works for other people in my personal opinion it’s a scam I also ran my psa 10 through it and it gave a 8.3 so I’m not to sure about this app and now I’m down a grand thanks digital grading company
Great before last update
The app worked great, until the last update arrived. Since then every single card gets a rating of 9.8. Even cards with the worst possible centering get a rating of 9.8 overall and 9.6-9.8 in centering, while having dimensions of 60/40 or even worse. Therefore can’t recommend the app at this moment, although it’s been a good app before that.
Amazing
very accurate and easy app
Doesn’t let me use the app!!!😠😠😠
It force you to pay $14 to use the app!!!!
One gripe
I paid for a month subscription then cancelled. After the month, I wanted to check the report on my cards. I could not view the report unless I resubscribed.
Wanted to look around
I wanted to see how the app works but I need to pay before getting in the app so my opinion is to give 5 free digital grading tickets or something and then charge money.
Amazing
I love this app so much!
Bad, no service available, app not working well
I applied to grade my card using utility and added credits. I’ve have been waiting to scan and cannot. I’ve been trying to use this app for the past 45mins and nothing. It took my money instantly but cannot scan cards for whatever reason. App is horrible!!
Money to grade
I would give this app 5 stars if it let you like get 1 free grade every day like just 1 not 5 not 10. 1 PLEASE!!
Feedback
App is solid but I have a question why can’t I scan any of my sports cards??? Does anyone have a clue and can help me it would be greatly appreciated!!
Great so far
Very in depth so far, loving it. Really shows how your card is fairing in the market.
Don’t waste you time and money
This app requires pay to use it at all. And even if you buy their cheapest plan you can’t even grade them without paying more. Even when you buy their $10 plan you can’t only use the service that takes 30 minutes per card. Only if you get the best plan can you use the real grading service. And the centering tool is BAD. It said my cards centering was 10 when I could clearly see 40-60 centering if not more.
Save your money.
Love the idea, but don’t rely on the app too much. First off, people are right to be upset — you can’t grade instantly unless you purchase credits. It takes about 30 minutes to grade one card, and the summaries aren’t as detailed unless you pay for the credited version. Use the app as just a tool. It may detect flaws on the card that you can’t see yourself, but I’d still suggest relying mostly on your own eyes and judgment. The app didn’t give me anything higher than a 9.0, even though the cards I pre-graded looked very clean and, in my opinion, could pass as PSA 10s. I’ve sent cards to PSA before and received 10s, so I just wanted to try this app out, but honestly, I was disappointed.
good for English cards only
I really like the idea behind Grading AI, but there are a few issues that hold it back from being a top app. A lot of cards are missing when you try to look them up, and if I grade Japanese or Chinese cards, the results only show the English version and its price. In the final result, it would make much more sense if the app also included the actual Japanese or Chinese card prices, since that information is available. Another thing is that you’re required to add the condition/damage of the card, but if the app had proper pricing for all language versions, it would make the grading process much more accurate and useful. If these improvements were made, this app would honestly be amazing.
Fantastic For Collectors
This is such a great idea for collectors, whether you’re new to grading or have a big collection. Finally we have a tool that can help us be more sure of what to submit, or even submit directly to them! Love this app
Inaccurate at best
Scanned about 20 cards. Some of the heavy played got in the 9.0-9.3 range. Terribly misleading and could lose you a lot of money by convincing you to grade card that you should not
Didn't work
When I tried making and account no Email came through to verify
Needs More Work
Nice to use, simple. However it doesn’t take into consideration cards that already have texture to them, so instantly grades lower in textured cards. Searching for cards is not smooth; will go to grade a bundle of cards, searching the first card works but there after, it struggles to list any cards EVEN the big hitters i.e Charizard, Venasaur, Blastoise.
Accurate grading
Graded some couple cards that was scanned using this app it was a 9.6 and came back a psa 10
Why
It wants me to spend money to acces the app… I don’t want a subscription bro
Bad grading
The grading is terrible I told me I had a ten on both sides and finally I got a 9 terrible do not recommend
Will it show if a card is fake?
Hello! Can I use this app to determine if my card are real or fake?
Great tool
Great for anyone looking into understanding grading and the condition of their cards. Simple instructions that provide ease of access to information that influence which cards to send into for grading.
I want to delete my account
Scams you into creating an account and then instantly puts u in an inescapable paywall that has a “settings” gear where i assume “delete account” is located, but it does not allow you to click it. I’m just glad I used my spam/possible scam email address and a fake name.
Camera quality is awful.
Not sure how it can detect the grades when the picture quality is really bad. I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro and it’s crazy how blurry it is.
Just loading
I love the app, but now its not working.. loading loading… Please fix it
Helpful
Going through my collection for the first time in years. With PSA being so expensive in Canada it’s nice to have a good guide on what is worth sending. I’m not an expert so this helps a lot
Gives out GEM-MT 10s like candy
This app hands out GEM-MT 10s like it's going out of style. I have gotten 10s on cards that are at least 65/35 in a single direction. I designed and printed a rig to take the pictures with so lighting and placement is consistent. I thought maybe doing it freehand was leaving some variables out there that might have been affecting the grades in a positive way. But after using the rig, it still produces 10s over 90% of the time. And to top it off, it only recognizes my card about 10-15% of the time. So not only do I not trust the grades that are being given, but I have to manually enter the overwhelming majority of my cards after scanning. I don't feel bad about giving a 1* based on these issues with what they charge. (I can see why they don't do free trials. Nobody would sign up after.)
Good idea, but not speed
It is a fantastic idea however it is so hard to angle the camera and it takes decades to load!
